Love the recipes. Personally, I like to cook the tater tots separate from the other ingredients. I like my tots golden brown and crunchy. I just sprinkle them on at the table.
If you are a praying person all prayers are much appreciated for me and my family. We are in a very difficult situation regarding decisions other people made about our house and the land it sits on (it's a mobile home). We could potentially lose our house if things don't get straightened out. We need God's will for the situation and wisdom on what to do if we have to move. OMG!! I just found your channel and immediately felt a connection. The way you cook seems familiar and like family. We tried the bacon cheeseburger and wow.... Thought it was a bit of hyperbole when he said it tasted just like a burger, but WOW! I do all the cooking, but Friday. The wife gives me a break, so she tried this. She saw me watching the video and said I can do that and did she ever.. great job guys, keep it up.

The buffalo whatever it was called will be right up my alley. Can’t wait to try it. Also if it taste like chili Rotel makes a chili fixens version and it is great I put it in my chili. When you open it it smells just like a pot of chili it is seasoned very good. I bet it would be great in it if it already has a chili flavor. Sometimes it’s hard to find but Walmart carries it and sometimes Publix if you have one of those.

That sounds good! If you like Big Mac flavored dishes google the recipe for Big Mac salad. It is delicious! One of the channels may have posted it I can’t remember but I know the recipe is floating around the internet and it’s really good. I didn’t know how ground beef would be on a salad but I was pleasantly surprised!

We use tater tots as a crust for egg dishes, just microwave them to make them soft and squish them flat. Great in muffin pan for baked eggs or in a large skillet for frittata.
I waffle mine and top with fried eggs. Cooking the tots in a waffle maker gives you a larger crispy surface, but the still have some fluffy to them, too
The hamburger mixture for the bacon cheeseburger one is what my grandma called a spoon burger. She was a lunch lady during her kids schooling. And it was a family favorite. I still can't make it taste like hers lol. Fun fact it was my choice of meal for our practice night on our wedding rehearsal. And yes now is going on my next meal plan. Thank you as always ❤️ I am gonna try the chicken one we never did a tater tot casserole with chicken b4. The best tater tot casserole we do ever so often but never used the dove sauce with it so now I bet we will love it better. Lol

I just popped the Buffalo Cheeseburger in the oven for the first time & it smells absolutely amazing!! I have 30-40 mins to roundup all my Tums and Omeprazole in the house lol. I can't wait to eat it!
We did the Buffalo Cheeseburger Tater Tot Casserole. Except we "Mandyized it" didn't have any buffalo sauce so we used Stubb's Original BBQ sauce. So you could say it was a BBQ Cheeseburger Tater Tot casserole. I never would have thought to sub something else until we started watching you, you're an inspiration.
I love your videos, my family is picky so we don't eat ketchup and mustard so I changed mine to A1 and Worcestershire and it still turned out really good
Now what a coincidence. I'm making the Scottish equivalent of a tater tot casserole tomorrow night (Wed). I'm making shepherds pie (lamb mince) with a potato croquette topping. (similar to tater tots but these are bigger and mine are not frozen). Topped with cheese though 😀. We tried a couple of the meatloaf recipes, Hubby likes the mini bbq cheddar ones, they're the favourite. Great video Mandy, I do love Steven's take on everything, he makes me smile. I do a version of The Best Tater Tot Casserole and make it more like a green bean casserole tater tot bake by adding following the directions you have but add about a teaspoon of soy sauce into the beef mixture and a handful of the French fried onions. Then layer the green beans on top, add some more of the French fried onions, cheese then the tots and follow the rest of the directions. YUM!

Still wasn't a hit with him but it was for me..thank you for the recipes..I never thought of different ways to make tot casserole!

I love seeing Gracie. She's a beauty! 😘 She reminds me so much of my Bella who passed in 2018 but I still miss her very much. Bella loved cheese (bacon, too) and looked similar to Gracie (same color and pattern) except with shorter fur. Gracie is fluffier than Bella was.

We like tots on bottom better & they still get crispy on bottom just like they do on top. But all goodness is on top easier to scoop out! Just my opinion! Especially Hobo pie! Love y'all! God bless!
There are 2 keys to great Tater Tot HOTDISH!!!!!!! Cook the tots before adding to rest of mixture. Get them crispy before you cook whole Hotdish. And second, keep it simple, there is no corn or green beans in it, meat, tots, cheese, cream of mushroom. Done!
If you like iced coffee, Thrive dark cold brew coffee is the absolute best! You can make your very expensive lattes. etc. right at home for 1/4 the cost!
These are all awesome and have to say it's so cool u brought these up . Used to make them all the time when the kids where small .. I worked in a service deli where we had hot foods and I asked my boss if I could make the cheese burger Bacon one. . ohmygracias she was so amazed that I even knew about that LoL 🤣🤣🤣 and so it became a regular dinner dish in the winter time in Minnesota where I was living at the time .. the chicken one I add broccoli 🥦 to it... Then Cheese & Bacon 🥓 😋🤗😁 on top at the end . Think will be making that one here soon .. and the cheese burger Bacon 🥓 tonight . Here’s a tip. Pre bake your tots most tater tot casseroles don’t do that and the tots never get crispy.

Bacon cheese burger tater tot casserole is the bomb . I listened to Steve’s comment about the pickles and used sliced pickles 👍👍

When using pickles or relish in your dishes, try using famous Dave’s sweet and spicy pickles. They are amazing and have a bit of a spice to it.
