I had early childhood memories of this film, but had no idea what it was called - thought it was Mandroid, but after searching for it in the early Internet age, I figured I must have made a mistake.
I saw a Reddit thread mentioning it a couple of years ago, and finally searched RUclips today. I was right about Mandroid - as that’s the character’s name.
It’s crazy that Eliminators is never mentioned anywhere.

Not only do I remember Centurions (Power Extreme), but my brother and I saw this movie opening night back when we were in grade school. If you think you were thinking WTF, the whole audience seemed equally confused (but it was weirdly entertaining)

"John Doe the Mandroid" was referenced in the original Trancers.
1:07 The importance of graphic design.
5:00 'The Eighth Man' predates both of them by two decades.
10:39 Electric Hyperion beam laser with a Maliwan barrel (from The Pre-Sequel).
15:19 Remember those Hyperion junk bots in the Arid Nexus in Borderlands 2?
15:34 Centurions were good. M.A.S.K. was better. Sectaurs were the best. Remember Power Lords? Now those were unique!
16:36 This sounds like a job for Jack Deth!
16:46 Well, if that hadn't happened, it might have been a mission for Jack Deth.
