I LOVED this movie as a kid and had been trying to find it or remember the name for some 25 yrs... I really related to how his humanity was stolen from him but he still sacrificed himself for everyone.
Wow! I saw this movie when I was four and probably watched it at least 80 times after that, growing up. I used to cry when the Mandroid (Patrick Reynolds) sacrifices himself at the end. I, sometimes, tried to reenact the dying scene also, and would get embarrassed when others caught me haha I also love the scene where Harry (Andrew Prine) sprays Peter Schrum (Ray) and Fausto Bara (Luis) with a fire extinguisher and takes off on the boat. Thank you for posting this! You made my childhood a fun one!
Hey, this is Patrick Reynolds, the actor who played the Mandroid. Thanks for your comments, especially the ones who saw Eliminators as a child and appreciated the self-sacrifice the Mandroid made to save his friends. I'm 75 now, in 2024, and have had an interesting life. My bio is at www.PatrickReynolds.com, and we covered the making of Eliminators, and my whole life, in the book I co-authored about my RJ Reynolds tobacco family, The Gilded Leaf -- see www.Tobaccofree.org/book My IMDB page with clips from my long-ago acting work is www.imdb.com/name/nm0126267/ but I've moved on from acting, unless it falls in my lap. These days I'm all about the political SuperPAC I'm starting, CONGRESS MAJORITY PAC, to persuade voters to Vote Democrat. The PAC's website is www.CongressMajority.org Any help promoting that site is welcome, phrases like 'Democrat PACS' or even "Democratic Party PACs", but there is no money to pay you unless we are successful. for a B-movie created in the wake of Robocop and Terminator, all in all it's not bad - I've seen much worse rip-offs than this, I also really like the fact that the protagonist (Mandroid) dies to help his friends, in the films of the time usually the main protagonist survived and defeated the big bad of the film (I'm talking about the 80s and no Kyle Reese doesn't fit into that role given that the protagonist is Sarah if not even the Terminator). But is the actor who plays Mandroid really reminiscent of Micheal Biehn to me?
This needs a Modern Remake … I’d bring in Peter Weller for this role… if they Sped up the Tank… and had a Better Action Director… they shooting scenes are pretty lame… could be Total Badass if done as a serious budget
I thought I was the only one that remembered this film. I think the Mandroid design still holds up pretty well after all these years.
My god, that centaur tank thing.. came here from hotdog9000, did not disappoint

I am giddy about finding this video. I was mesmerized by this movie back in elementary.

Hah! Conan Lee was also in this movie. I had forgotten that. Man... What a George Lazenby career he had.
Mandroid is one of science fiction cinema's greatest characters. Hands down.
I was 11 years old when I first seen this movie left the theater thinking where could i find a mad scientist who could turn me into a cool cyborg
Loved that movie as a kid! I would love to buy it digitally but its not available here.
Thank you
I would like to find the complete movie!
Saw this movie when I was a kid at the movies. Such a great movie and Mandroid was the best. -Jeff
