1) This movie was indeed released in theatres, I watched it in one. 2) I suggest you give a second chance to "Citizen Kane", just remember it is NOT a film to watch while talking to friends and drinking beer. You could appreciate the subtleties of the movie, like the couple that has breakfast in a bigger, distant table every time, the detailed design of the house , the soundtrack of Bernard Herrmann applying de religious "Dies Irae" like a wagnerian leitmotiv to show the progressive moral corruption of the main character, and the special effects (YES, special effects) like simulating a full-crowded theatre in the middle of a political campaign. Anyway, I enjoy your channel, keep it up!
I've seen Citizen Kane a few times. I studied it in college. It absolutely changed moviemaking and was revolutionary. It pioneered a lot of techniques. And it's boring as sin 🤣

I knew that I had recognized the guy playing "tons of fun." He played in a lot of stuff and was even on the TV series Gimme' A Break. He played the police chief's brother the mortician.
"Dirty Han Solo" was Andrew Prine. An actor who has been in so much stuff good, bad and in the middle. He was in The Miracle Worker, The Town That Dreaded Sundown, Grizzly and he was in both "V" mini-series. He's the Visitor in the poster that everyone's drawing V's on. The villain, Roy Dotrice was in a "science fiction" musical that you might want to look up. It's called Toomorrow. It's here on YT. It's notable for being Olivia Newton-John's third (?) film where she proves she can't act in spite of her supposedly playing herself.

You had me at “hairpie” ?! 🤨🤔🤣🤣
Haha, thanks!
I'm so glad I found this channel lol I love to put my feet up with a brew 🍵 and watch along with you. This will be good I know it 😂 🇬🇧
I'm glad you found us, Jay!
You had me at *Mandroids* 😍
That sold me too.
Needed more tracked vehicle action and cybernetic marital aids, but a solid film nonetheless.
Still, it’s no “Rage To Kill”… but few things are. 🤣
Excellent work, y’all. See you next week! 👍
Agreed all around. Rage to Kill sounds interesting. Added it to the list!
@@JasonBrant Rage to kill sounds like the title of one of those Goddawful Seagal movies. SO glad to see it isn't.
I’ve been watching the subs for y’all climbing each week. So glad people are seein the the genius your crew creates.
The only thing this movie was missing is a KGB agent and a roll of Microfilm!
🤣 I'm surprised they didn't throw that in there at the end.
Maybe that would've been in the sequel 🤣
I remember renting this back in the day with my cousin. Good times👍🍻
I can't believe I missed this one back in the 90s.
You should check out, "Yor, The Hunter From The Future". It's a French-Italian-Turkish co-production, starring Reb Brown, who has a dubbed voice for the entire film, and, it's probably the only movie I've ever seen that spoils it's big twist in it's own title.
Will do. Added to the list. Thanks!
YES!!! Perfect pick
@@JasonBrant Yor is boring. Gor rules.
@@AmityvilleFan John Norman spared none of the Gor-y details!
I'll show myself out before you can think of a Counter.
@@megatronjenkins2473 Too late. Everyone and their GRANDMA did Yor, and for what?
Poor Gor gets burried by the yelling of Yor, while it is far superior sword&sandals slock.
His shirt when he said “BRYaaaaaaaann”
Was funnier than it should’ve been🤣😂
If ya'll can, check out Miami Connection. It's insane. Or anything by Andy Sedaris like Hard Ticket to Hawaii or Malibu Express.
Edit: After some research. You guys did do those movies. My bad....
Great suggestions. Love those movies.
8:10 You are so right! Straight to video back in the 80s seemed to have for the most part the same quality as major films.
Nowadays straight to DVD looks like it's shot with an Android phone.
It sounds like the beginning of a bad joke. "A Mandroid, A Ninja and a Lesbian walk into a bar...... "
🤣 🤣
The Quebec Province was a paradise for B movie lovers in the 80’s. This movie was a regular midnite show in my youth.
Another awesome episode! Erin's facial expressions are always the best.
Also, where did you get that bad-ass shirt Jason?
Thanks! I think I bought the shirt on Amazon. Been a few years.
Oh man!!! I forgot the name of this movie, but I always think about it 🤣 🤣 🤣!
With the old movie talk, I think I'd enjoy watching you guys react to a Marx Brothers movie. They aren't really sbig but I think it would still be fun to watch. Animal crackers is my recommendation
Definitely not SBIG materal, but I'll check some of their stuff out.
Seagal payed you to leave him alone. :D Excellent video, those movie nights look like great fun.
🤣
They got a cease and desist order from Putin.
The thing I could never get past.
When Mandroid operates his vehicular assault lower body. Instead of flexing his none gun arm or holding it in sideshot position.
The actor must have been scared shitless and/or suffering major whiplash. Because you can actually see him holding on & bracing himself. It looks like shit and I can never not see it. Your welcome😁
I'm sure he was afraid he was going to run himself over 🤣
@@JasonBrant See. Now that's something I'm curious about. Did the actor have control over tthat rig? Was it remote controlled by "experienced professionals" on set?
Was there a midget mandroid 0.5 behind mandroids ass?
The world may never know...
@@brandonwachter2264 😂
All she can think of when looking at the mandroid who looks like a Borg... "WTF was I thinking?!"
🤣
Excellent content as usual. Do China salesman next please 👍 p.s. Erin looking beautiful in this episode. Hope you guys have all recovered from covid.
We're doing much better now, thanks. China Salesman is on the list, but it won't be next.
I remember seeing this as a kid in the 80s and thinking this was the coolest movie ever behind 9 Deaths of the Ninja
I haven't seen 9 Death sof the Ninja, but I'm looking forward to it.
@@JasonBrant so. bleeding. boring.
@@JasonBrant 😆No problem with that at all. By the way, I feel tempted to recommend you (in case you haven't suffered it yet) "Manos". But let me warn you, it is REEAAALLLYYY bad.
@@JasonBrant likewise. I did Citizen Kane and On the Waterfront in college. I remember nothing about On the Waterfront except the "I coulda been somebody!" scene.
I think the guy with the rifle at 5:56 it's the same biker with the shotgun in Terminator 2. "Can't let you take the man's wheels, son".
Ahh, good call!
Didn't Denise Crosby leave Star Trek to try and make it big? This is what she wound up doing?
I think she left to do Pet Sematary?
This was before Star Trek, I believe.
She left Trek because she was upset she wasn't getting any character development, which is understandable, I wouldn't want to just stand there, either. They f ucked up by killing her off, instead of leaving it open for her possible return later.
@@JasonBrant This was released the year before ST:TNG.
@@JasonBrant Star Trek started in 87 and Pet Sematary came out in 89
" Flight com can't hold it she's breaking up!"
Cool shirt, bro!
🤣 Thanks!
@@JasonBrant do u have a PO box where we can send u dvds?
Pet Sematary 2 is far superior to the first. I might be saying this because I love Edward Furlong. Brainscan is the absolute shit and probably a movie you should review.
You got it.
Jesus, I haven't seen Brainscan in YEARS. Holy shit, I haven't even THOUGHT about it in years.
@@megatronjenkins2473 Haha, it's an absolute masterpiece. I used to be so jealous of his bedroom and epic AV setup.

Omg...I remember watching this with my younger brother at least 3 or 4 times every week on VHS. We thought it was amazing with the mandroid tank. I dont think I've seen this since like 88 or 89...what throw back lol
The little floating robot reminds me of Vincent, from 'The Black Hole.' Love it.
in france, i found this movie under the title "Decapitron". the whole VHS jacket was about a totally differnt movie, that was actually never made. this was not misplaced , the wrong name was also printed on the tape.
Decapitron sounded like a promising "nanar" (french word for "so bad it's good"), but still that actual movie is gold^^
This movie is insane. I watched adventures of buckaroo banzai today what a ride lol
That one is on our watchlist. Looking forward to it.
I have never laughed harder, or with more love in my heart, at one of your videos than I did when I heard Erin say she should have seen CASABLANCA because the "Girls Next Door" always watched it on Hef's birthday. This show is the best thing ever to happen to RUclips.
Followed almost immediately by "We might see some areola here." 🤣🤣🤣
And along comes "I don't mind Dave." to totally blow all that preceded it out of the water! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

glad you bring back Sarah.
Who?
@@JasonBrant 🤣🤣🤣. Erin
I was 8 years old when this film came out, and yes, at that time it was THE GREATEST FILM EVER MADE.
🤣
The initial reaction was priceless 😁😁😁
🤣
So I just checked on this guys because I thought Denise Crosby looked a bit young in this one. Yup, this movie came out a year before the first episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation aired. This is one of her earliest movies and appearances. Kind of a fun and crazy movie guys, thank you. Oh BTW I am from far East Tennessee right in Appalachia and you are quite right, is it almost it's own race for sure. Nice folk but yeah very different.
Thanks for looking that up! It's a wild movie.
Such nostalgia for me. Loved this growing up. Completely forgot about it
This did get released into theaters. I remember seeing it at the Orchard 4 theater distinctly as I was the ONLY person in the audience. LOL.
YUS!! another SBIG!! Thanks guys
Hope you got some laughs.
@@JasonBrant The ending was the best. You all seemed dazed from the expierence. Had me cracking up. Thanks again to all of you!

I just have to leave this comment....I came across your channel when a video showed up in my recommendations and I have been a fan ever since. This format is awesome compared to the old. Everyone who watches the movies are awesome and funny. Keep it going and looking forward to every Sunday!!!
