  • The Luna Display was a Kickstarter project to use an iPad as a second monitor for your computer or laptop. It works on a PC or Mac and comes in two versions - one for HDMI and one for USB-C and is priced at $129. You can pick one up from the folks at Astropad at astropad.com/p.... Can you also mirror the primary display (as opposed to extend) on the secondary display (the iPad)?

Yes you can! You choose to mirror the primary in the display section in WINDOWS!

have you tried watching a 4k video on the secondary screen and see if there is any lag?

Hi Darren! We have not tried that although the laptop I used has a 4k screen. When I get a chance, I’ll give that a try with my iPad Pro and will let you know!

@@TheFotobug thanks that will be helpful. I have an old late 2012 iMac 27 and I’m thinking of using it as my primary monitor using Luna Display’s headless mode. The only thing I’m concerned about is the lag. If 1080p vids runs smoothly but 4K lags, I may still consider getting it. But if it can’t handle 1080 as well then I’ll skip this
