Randomly stumbled across your channel. Really enjoy your content, your delivery is what makes it. Lifelong truck guy here. Currently in a Brew City Boost 93 tuned 2016 F150. Quick tips. Tires are often one of those things where you truly get what you pay for. Plenty of " off brand" stuff out there especially in the bigger sizing ( 20 & 22" +) I've ran dozens of mud or all terrain tires in my life and have found that with these trucks alot of the issue with wet traction is how light they are in the ass end and the torque they have stock! I've ran Cooper STT Pros ( killer tire) And now the Nitto Ridge Grapplers. 50k miles on the STT's and 46k on the NIttos with plenty of tread left. Rotated @ 5k when I do my oil changes. Keep up the great content!
I was told cupping means tires didn't have the right air pressure in them. With cold weather my tires have lost 5 lbs of pressure. I used to do a lot of off road driving and always preferred all weather tires. Mud tires are good at digging holes and we didn't want to tear up our pasture or trails. Enjoy you shares!
That red substance on your suspension components that was put on the threads was most likely thread locker. It keeps the nuts from coming loose and backing off. Nice truck Bro. I just bought a 2020 F150 Lariat. 4 " BDS lift kit on order. Cupping is caused by your tires bouncing and actually losing contact with the road. It's caused by either out of balance wheels and tires. or worn shocks and struts. So, make sure you get everything checked out before you kept eating up tires. BTW I subbed and hit the notification bell.
I got a 18 xlt I had the dealer level with fox 2.0 and bfg ko2. That way the dealer not fight me on the warranty. It was really hard not to put the mud terrains on. I don’t regret it now though. Your truck is sweet bro.

Adjust the amount of pressure ya apply on the gas pedal while accelerating should increase mpg. If I press too hard from a dead stop it displays 5 mpg if I press lighter shows 14 then once I get to speed 18

I got a 2015 3.5 eco boost super crew lariat. nothing special stock rims and tires I’ve added cold air intake, exhaust, throttle body spacer, and blow off valve (for sh*ts and giggles). The only thing I hate having the first generation so it came with the leaking panoramic sunroof issue until i fixed it.
The uneven wear across the truck could also indicate the setup across the truck is off. Great vid - stay on rotations. Reminder - Not all cool looking tires perform well.
Bro the center console thing you had first, the half one, is way better... all you do it get some double sided sticky tape, and put some under the lip of it and it sticks!! I couldn’t do the full one, it tried, I needed things below it way to much and just rigged up the half one so it doesn’t slide lol

You could of just went with a leveling 2” kit which you can still get large 35 on it but curtain tires will rub I just put the 2” leveling lifted my 06 and when these tires wear out ( September-October) I will still use my 20” rims but go with other tires. Make sure when they rotate tires they crisscross the fronts when they put them on the rear for wear balance. The red mark is for you to do quick visual to see if anything is coming loose
I bought my 1 month ago it was lifted new lift and tires and didn't know nothing learn from u hasn't 3000 and I think I need an alinement. I feel like u do . I'm going to change rims and tires .it's a f150 215. Spend ING lot of money.

Lol if you get a decent lift kit and it’s installed and maintenance properly you should be fine. Like anything you will have to replace things but that’s part of owning a vehicle.
She’s 4x4. Honestly nothing wrong with it lifting a 4x2 truck. Now if you live in Wisconsin or somewhere that gets bad weather a lot of snow etc. then 4x4 maybe beneficial. Otherwise 4x2 is fine and cheaper. Imo nothing wrong with it. A lot of lifted trucks with 4x4 I’m guessing don’t go off roading much anyway lol.
How was it buying that truck from net direct? They have a truck I’m thinking about buying. How was your overall experience with them and are they good company to deal with?
They the nicest people you’ll ever meet. I worked with Samantha or Sam as she goes by. Not pushy at all, great communication let you test drive all day if you want. I’d definitely buy from them again. Probably the easiest buying process I’ve ever had. I did have my own financing.

The trucks that they have there look like they are in great shape and they all have low mileage. Did they work with you on the price to get it where you wanted or are they pretty firm on their price?
You need hybrid tires Toyo RT or Nitto ridge grapplers there both good my Toyos were fine in rain and quiet and aggressive my new Nittos are aggressive and alot of people seem to like them👍

Gotta say, if you are putting any effort into a RUclips channel to showcase a vehicle then you have got to know a little bit more about the vehicle you are showcasing. A lift is not a one and done upgrade. Whether you upgraded it yourself or bought it that way, these are not factory installed parts and require more attention than the usual suspension components. Owning a lifted vehicle requires more work than simply getting in the vehicle, turning it over and taking off. I see you keep your truck very clean and no one had to tell you how often to do that. Just sayin'...😉 I put more wear and tear on my exterior by washing it all the time so I know. By the way, I have the Nitto Ridge Grapplers and when it is in 4A and the road is wet, I can stomp on the accelerator and have no loss of traction and that bitch takes off like a rocket. You do lose traction if you're turning fast though. 2015 King Ranch 3.5 Ecoboost street tuned. Been thinking of getting away from the Ecoboost engine because I hear the higher pressures exerted on such a small engine will make it wear out faster especially if you drive like an asshole all the time because of the power.
Daniel Vallejo I personally love my Ecoboost, the only thing I hate is it doesn’t have the sound of V8 but the turbos do sound cool as well. Almost Diesel like. The eco-boost mainly the 3.5 was rated highest towing highest payload capacity. I also believe the mpg is better with the eco-boost. The only con I’ve heard is people talk about the durability and longevity. That’s why people choose to go with the 5.0. However I have seen numerous people that say they are eco-boost Last well into the 100,000 to 200,000 miles. I’ve only had my truck for about two years so that’s still out to be determined for me but so far I have no issues. Just miss V8 sound.
KickinItWithQ I feel the same way I love the sound of a v-8 but also love the ecoboost turbos. Personally I tow either a horse trailer or sxs at high elevation so leaning towards the ecoboost. The longevity like you said is what scares me but might be worth the risk. Thanks for your opinion much appreciated!
Check out zone offroad. They are comparable to bds and cost less. I run Cooper stt pro 35/12.5 /20 I rotate every 5k tires wearing great currently 23k on the tires still tons of tread left.
James sammann ... you are correct. Tire pressure plays a big role as well. Too much pressure, they will wear in the center. Too little pressure, they will wear on the sides. Q, if you see this, Get the Toyo AT2, they are awesome tires, just a bit expensive compared to others!
@@KickinItWithQ I had the same problem wit my mud tires I have had no problems with the all terrains. FYI I did have my shocks fail at 50.000 the truckfell on the ground did 13.000$in damage. Always check your shocks now have 80.000 miles no problems if I had it to do againg get bds lift your truck looks great mine is all blacked out and 30.000 in custom work
It’s not too bad but there definitely are a lot of moving components when it comes to the lift That requires maintaining but you don’t have to do them often

Yep I definitely got had vibration with my Mud tires. It’s gone away with my Nitto ridge grapplers but with the lift there is still slight vibration

I have the 3.5 Ecoboost
Any cons on the 3.5? I’m torn between the 5.0 or 3.5 ecoboost.
Daniel Vallejo I personally love my Ecoboost, the only thing I hate is it doesn’t have the sound of V8 but the turbos do sound cool as well. Almost Diesel like. The eco-boost mainly the 3.5 was rated highest towing highest payload capacity. I also believe the mpg is better with the eco-boost. The only con I’ve heard is people talk about the durability and longevity. That’s why people choose to go with the 5.0. However I have seen numerous people that say they are eco-boost Last well into the 100,000 to 200,000 miles. I’ve only had my truck for about two years so that’s still out to be determined for me but so far I have no issues. Just miss V8 sound.
KickinItWithQ I feel the same way I love the sound of a v-8 but also love the ecoboost turbos. Personally I tow either a horse trailer or sxs at high elevation so leaning towards the ecoboost. The longevity like you said is what scares me but might be worth the risk. Thanks for your opinion much appreciated!

Mud tires don't last long. I have BF Goodrich AT. Best in snow. And in a raptor Baja Racing.

Check out zone offroad. They are comparable to bds and cost less. I run Cooper stt pro 35/12.5 /20 I rotate every 5k tires wearing great currently 23k on the tires still tons of tread left.

James sammann ... you are correct. Tire pressure plays a big role as well. Too much pressure, they will wear in the center. Too little pressure, they will wear on the sides. Q, if you see this, Get the Toyo AT2, they are awesome tires, just a bit expensive compared to others!

@@KickinItWithQ I had the same problem wit my mud tires I have had no problems with the all terrains. FYI I did have my shocks fail at 50.000 the truckfell on the ground did 13.000$in damage. Always check your shocks now have 80.000 miles no problems if I had it to do againg get bds lift your truck looks great mine is all blacked out and 30.000 in custom work

I didn’t know there were that much work involved after lifting a truck , but man it sure looks good friend .
It’s not too bad but there definitely are a lot of moving components when it comes to the lift That requires maintaining but you don’t have to do them often

@@KickinItWithQ I just bought a velociraptor and I must say I do have a intercoiomer , and updated bypass gate so I have the cool psssh sound but my turbos do t sound like your set up it sounds nice. You must be boosted more I smoke those annoying infinities no stickers I catch em asleep
