Anyone have more info on the flash bama tunes? Been thinking about getting one because there’s no way I can bring it to a shop to get it tuned unless I drive far out since there’s none near me
It all depends on what you want (which I know isn't super helpful lmao). But you can choose from any combination of axle backs, mid mufflers, and headers. Each part type has multiple brands to choose from (Corsa and Borla seem to be awesome go-tos) and each brand might have multiple choices for each part depending on the sound you're going for (ex. Corsa might offer both a loud, higher pitched axle back muffler as well as a low-tone, more subtle axle back muffler for your car). If you've got something popular like a Mustang, Camaro, Corvette, or Challenger/Charger then it should be really easy to find a ton of options for your exhaust, but it all depends. If you wanna go a cheap route and your car has cats, a midmuffler, and an axleback, as an example, then you could always do a mid muffler delete. if there's an easy disconnect just before the axle back, you could always disconnect it to see sort of what it will sound like without one but it won't be exactly the same if you do delete that afterwards. You could also probably find forums talking about exhaust setups for your car and talking to people at car meets with the same car can be a great way to learn about brands, muffler options, pros/cons, and other random car-specific details. I need help car people! My Audi A8 D3 has like no aftermarket parts it’s meant to be more luxury than a sport but it’s a V8 4.2L I have to do something to it I want it about 450 HP -550 HP and I don’t know how to get there I literally can’t even find a cold air intake set
If there's really that little out for aftermarket stuff I don't want to tell you anything that might mess with it in a bad way lol😬 Maybe check for forums of mods other people have done and see if anyone's tacked on a cone filter somehow and done some muffler deletes without making problems. Anything's possible!
