@@LibertyDrives you're the only RUclipsr that makes these videos accurately! Although I want to mention the Buick that you mentioned with the unreliable v6 is the same 3.6 in the Impalas and the Camaros with minor differences
That's a really good point, they definitely could. Of course man, and thank you for sticking around all these years and through all my (too frequent😂) breaks
You’ll love it have the 15 rs myself got it for 17.5 with a aftermarket exhaust got quad tips sounds really nice and great daily driver went from southwest Mich to Jersey one fillip in between
the problem with the impala is that they're fwd, I have a 2012 one and it's definitely got done power but the lack of correct wheel drive is what's holding it back
Great video! The Chrysler 200/Dodge avenger with the pentastar 3.6l could have made the list too. I've owned both, each with a 0-60 of 6-6.2 completely stock.
@@LibertyDrives yes sir, I think they are great vehicles despite the mainstream hate. I biggest issue is modifying the pentastar for more power gets pricey and there isn't a terrible amount of weight you can shave from them so most will never see more than .5-1 second faster 0-60. But for a family car it has some get up and go.
Chilling with my 2014 v6 (nothing but fun!). Wanting to save up for a 2010 Camaro ss tho. Something about a 6L v8 just excites me a little more than my v6
@@LibertyDrives Thanks! Fiberglass Cervinis hood plus some inserts i got off american muscle. Gotta love just seein it in the parking lot for what it is yk?
Hey…You missed the 2009-2012 Hyundai Genesis Sedan 3.8L. I had a 2009 Genesis Sedan that could out run a 2015 Mustang GT. It was a real sleeper and a beast on the highway. Capable of hitting 163 mph with very little effort.💪🏾😎
That's fair, I feel like hybrids are the best solution for right now (and companies not making ONLY huge, heavy SUV EVs). Someone once brought up to me though that a problem with hybrids is you end up with the maintenance issues for both the ICE and the electronics
I'm not gonna lie: the V6 in my Jeep is no slouch. It's slow compared to a V8 or a V6 in a small car, but it gets up and goes with ease. Nothing will compare to the Inline 6 from BMW for raw thrust, but I honestly think the Jeep sounds better. It's less raspy.
Flying under the radar - Lincoln MKZ AWD 3.0T has 400 HP and 0-60 in under 5 secconds. Surprising how cheap these are and owner reviews seem to have positive things to say on reliability.
You're right, C&D got a 5.1 time for those, I completely forgot about em. Side note: When I looked it up, one website said the SRT-6 "SQUIRTS" to 60 in 5.4 seconds😂😂
@@LibertyDrives thanks, it was act$6900 but I got from dealer, so I told them I won’t pay more than 7500 out the door. It’s got all options, thx, dvd, parallel parks itself, adaptive cruise, 20” chrome wheels…
I'll be brutally honest, I'm sorry to say this but I don't think I'm qualified enough to give advice on engine swapping a 28 Model A pickup😂 I'd really love to see how it turns out though!
I’m looking at getting my first car but can’t decide between a mustang or a Camaro. However with a 20k budget I’d either be getting a v6 Camaro or on the mustang side I could get a newer v6 or ecoboost or even a 2010ish v8 mustang. What would you recommend? I would be driving short distance most of the time but go on 4+ hour drives quite a bit.
I guess I don't know about your financials or the source behind your budget, but if I had 20k to spend on a first car and I'd be happy with a V6, I'd go with either an 05-09 or 10-14 Mustang V6 manual. If you really wanted a V8, I'd go for an 05-09 GT so you can get something with lower miles than you'd probably find on a 2010+ GT. Also keep insurance and sales tax (if applicable in your state) in mind. You can get some pretty sweet deals for even 10k and leave yourself 2k for any mods you want and save the other 8k depending on your future goals. It's all your choice, hope this helps!! Best of luck and lmk how it goes!
Choose 15-24 mustang the best in here trust me don’t try the dodge Camero is the second best but the first would be mustang Its reliable easy learn to modify and higher specs are fast as f
Sorry to all my claw-decal guys😬😂 Which of these rides is your favorite??
I drove one of those V6 Impalas as a rental a few years back. Those things pick up man. Great video as always brotha!
