You could have seen her before because she had several appearances in the band intros playing a guitar (and/or a keyboard if I remember correctly). So she is even more fitting to the CWM clan. Best regards, luck and health in particular.
She plays guitar and keyboards AND rebuilds transmissions? HB checks all the boxes! Dear gawd, that convertible is just...it really makes you re-evaluate life. Thank you for such an excellent video.
Thanks for the diversion Scott. I enjoyed it while taking a short break from the devastation that Milton left me, a St. Petersburg follower and patron. The only channel that I’ve bothered to watch this week. 🍺🍺
@@coldwarmotors Thank you Scott. I used to drive a semi in Maine and I thought blizzards were a nightmare. I’m still loving that transmission rebuild in spite of everything.

I wonder which isle in the apparel store (or perhaps on line?) his friend, Mark found his red plaid shirt, matched with some stunning camo shorts? Ready for Vogue magazine.
1:16 - I'm not gonna lie. I am 66 years old, and I have waited all of my life to see what makes the Dynaflow "tick." As a kid, I have taken apart wind-up alarm clocks that I could not put back together, and my parents did not get pissed. But that lesson has haunted me to this day, 60 years later. Just seeing you standing there at 1:17, with the intention of seeing how Dynaflow works, is enough for me to doff my hat. One of my favorite experiences in my entire life was sitting in the backseat of our 52 Buick and my father pulling into fast moving traffic, circa 1966. Godspeed. 😂
To Scott and everyone up there in Canada, allow me to engage in prematurely wishing you all a happy Thanksgiving Day come Monday. Here's to a day filled with good food and fine company including the best of friends and loved ones. Salute! 🇨🇦
Those Citroen's were incredible. The convertible is absolutely delicious. What a treat. Kudos to Bunny for getting used to the camera. She seems to be a great addition to the crew.
As a kid I in the mid-60’s I had neighbors who had a blue DS, and I really thought I’d get to own one…but never did (let alone drive one). So glad to see this episode even more than ever.
There are episodes where it should be pay to view. This is one of them. Please ask Agent 7678 to take a full year renovating the'38 Chrysler with a weekly update of 25-30 minutes. The DS (Déesse = Goddess) Rallye break = station wagon is a special treat. Merci beaucoup! I felt I was in heaven!
*Overload!* I tell you what - between the Dynaflow (my eyes roll back in my head and I speak in tongues when someone tries to show me automatic transmission stuff usually), that *incredible* Imperial at the GCFCE.... and then you gotta toss all that ultra-rare Frenchy stuff at us, too? These are truly the salad days for Scott and CWM and it's wonderful to witness. - Ed on the Ridge
People don’t realize how exciting it was to own a car in 1938 that had a radio. Imagine cruising late at night and picking up a live broadcast of Benny Goodman at The Meadowbrook or The Count Basie Band jamming hard at The Famous Door or The Savoy. Oh, btw if you’re parked with your gal, don’t forget to start the car every 20 or 30 minutes. Those radios were battery killers
... or Glenn Miller or Artie Shaw at the Glen Island Casino? My fantasy would be parking with a lovely check-out girl from the Five and Dime store, and hearing a brand new Sinatra/Dorsey disc drop to the juke box dashboard of a 3-year old parentally owned Imperial. "It's Chrysler's version of a Cadillac!", you'd tell her.
I never given French cars a second look untill I started watching CWM. 38 Chrysler looks amazing for it's age. Also glad to see honeybunny getting air time. Looking forward to seeing more of the SOS. ✌️👍😎❤️ cheers.
I’ve rebuilt lots of transmissions from the ‘80s and 90’s but that Dynaflow with a rebuildable torque converter is super cool! Loved every minute of it.
I’m loving the nerd out session on Citroen. When I was young in rural Illinois I saw a 2cv and it couldn’t have been more shocking than an alien spacecraft. I thought it was so cool and as an old man I now want one just to go on leisurely chip or ice cream runs. Good stuff Scott
Great seeing Bunny and her passion for classic automotive preservation. The Citron experience was awesome and the storied history was even better.Thank you!!
Damn a convertible. Slick original, and a very slick restoration, on the wagon. That Inperial is a phenom. When I seen Bunny, pick up that block of wood, and tap the bell off the Dyna flow, I new, she's a keeper. My Dad would put duct tape on the holes of his fall ware, to keep the insulation in.
Hi Bunny!!! Watching frkm TIMES SQUARE ,NEW YORK CITY. I'm an older lady who loves vintage cars too!!! My sister is 74, shes almost always fixed her own cars..her name is BONNIE.
Scott, everything you said about Citroen owners is also true of Rover saloon owners, and the Rover Car Club of Canada is a wonderful organization for Rover owners in Canada and the United States.
@@coldwarmotors The RCCC has been running a very active and immensely helpful email-based forum since around the time the interwebs opened for business. Participants are from all over the world with people in the USA very active. I wonder if you ever ran across Ruth Burgess who operated All British Car (ABC) British car parts in the Vancouver area. Ruth was not only a walking parts encyclopedia but was also at one time a professional Rover mechanic. In fact, when I saw Honeybunny working on that transmission, Ruth was the first thought that crossed my mind. She was an incredible resource, as I can tell Honeybunny is for you.
Oh that Chapron! Circa 67 with the stunning rare Jaeger dash panel! Absolutely world class car! What a treat! Then the amazing ID Break! What can I say as a member of the weird Citroen kids table? Just the best episode for me. C’est formidable! 🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷 And the ‘38 Imperial - swoon!
It took a transmission teardown to see Bunny more fully. Thanks Bunny. A 38 Imperial! Damn! Would like to see video on the work done to it. A DS dream indeed. The 66 convertible was driving around the San Francisco bay area when I was growing up there. I like to think we passed each other on the road. I am looking forward to getting the calendar, especially since I couldn't order one last year. Cheers
Loved the Citroen gathering, well remember stumbling across a DS wagon in North Wales, this back in the late 1980s, parked under a lean-to alongside a house. Always regret not knocking on the homeowner's door, perhaps it was a good job ... as for the Chrysler, just wow. Hi to HB, what a champ.
Great video. I saw my first Citroen in 1963. I am from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania USA. Back the it was steeltown USA and you rarely saw any foreign cars. Occasionally one might see a VW, Mercedes or Renault but it was mostly GM, Ford, Chrysler, Rambler, Studebaker etc. I went to school in Hershey, PA in 1963 and it was a different world, Sabs, Volvos, Jaguars, Mg's, Austin's, Hillman's and Triumph's were everywhere. I was thunder stuck the first time I encountered a Citroen DS19 sedan. It looked like an alien spacecraft that cross bred with a frog. But damn I loved it (and still do). It has been years since I have seen one in person on the road but they are still way cool. Again thank you guys for your videos and all of the characters you hang out with.
What a epic dash on the early ds decap. I love the earlier style ds cars! Also great find on the 1938 Chrysler. Love the 1960 Safari, what a great car! Epic episode. Nice to see the face from bunny. No need to be shy anymore...
2:16 - Good Lord, you are going to take that Dynaflow apart, with the full knowledge that it may be functional already. You are a better man than I, Gunga Din. May the Rum Gods be with you.
Wow, what a wonderful video. You and Hunny Bunny (I feel strange calling her that) working on the transmission was wonderful. She is so careful and exacting and instinctively knowledgable. As for the Citroens, what can you say. I have always adored the Chapron convertible, so French, so elegant and stylish, so chic! I'd have to be wearing a stylish Givenchy ensemble to drive it, through the streets of Paris of course 😄 . Anyway, back to reality now........
Leave it to Scott to find a lovely lady with a gentle voice who can rock a plaid shirt and speaks fluent transmission. Fortune has indeed smiled on you, friend. Welcome, Hunny Bunny! It was a pleasure to meet you.
I never thought I'd say this, but I really enjoyed the DS segment! Beautiful restoration on the wagon and the Cabriolet is a really attractive car. I'm glad there are some folks in North America keeping those cars on the road!
Another great show! Hats off to HunnyBunny for digging into the Dynoflow! Love the art deco Imperial that is so incredible, it’ll be up and running in no time. Those Citroens are just so quirky in their engineering and design a person can’t help but enjoy learning about them. While I’m a Buick and Mopar guy the only thing Citroen I own is a Heller DS 19 1:16 scale model kit that I’ll try to put together someday.
The Dynaflow was first offered as an option in the 1948 Roadmaster. It was considered inefficient by the time your Buick was built. The damn things are indestructible so they kept using it.
Great show, can't wait to see the Imperial running. LOVED the Citroen DS convertible, what a great looking car. Growing up in Seattle, I remember seeing a few Citroen's running around... Not that rare a site back in the 70's/early 80's. Its really cool to see these guys (and you Scott) out enjoying these almost priceless cars. What a treat. Cheers as always from Lubbock!
Changed my username, still Matt Austin here. A terrific show this week, as usual, thank you! The Citroen convertible was sweet, and the 1960 wagon is gorgeous, I love the upholstery and demand that all new cars are upholstered in the same fabric! Nice to see Bunny enjoying the dark arts of transmission work, and I howled with laughter when Frankers showed the world what she thought of her beauty treatment by rolling in the grass! Thank you for extending the calendar sales to Monday, I’m ordering one first thing tomorrow. Oh, that 1938 Chrysler is an absolute thing of beauty, from my favourite era of cars. Thanks again, see you next week.
Out here in Oklahoma and Kansas can't remember Citroen. Did have a few Dauphine and LeCar. You helped me to appreciate the Citroen. Best of all there's no LS swaps! Cheers
I LOVE ❤ 😍 those Citroëns! I can't decide which one that I like best. Great salmon color on the wagon, very elegant looking sedan, but then the convertible!
OK, got it...build a giant Carage with lots of Doors...then go buy cars to fill it! Just beautiful! Scott! Thanks for all the sharing today! Cheers, Rich
Watching the 59' Dynaflow come apart I can't help but think of the engineering that went into it. Long before the age of auto cad a group of insaniacs sat at drafting tables in nerd trance cranking out exploded drawings by hand. That's f'n crazy and the exact same effort is true for the Bourgueil damaged brains behind Citroen. Now cars are soulless crap.
Good God man, you had a great week. Colour me envious. It's been fun to watch the channel ramp up for a decade plus in quality and quantity, but the Frenchy overload really tickled me this week, all hail the Church of DS.
That's a Chapron Décapotible. They are very expensive cars today, valued at around GBP £150,000. About 1300 cars were built, and the last was converted in 1980 for a British customer - that car still exists. Very few were right-hand-drive.
What an absolute treat seeing those Citroens together, that convertible is just a work of art, I've never ever seen one in the UK, and the Safari is just mint, great to see Bunny getting into the picture more and fair play seeing her getting stuck into the transmission, definitely want to see Dans Chrysler running. great show Scott.
CWM - the BEST !!! Hi Bunny!! I've never seen the inside of an automatic transmission before - very interesting how it's all put together. WOW!! what a heck of a find - a CHRYSLER IMPERIAL!! Frankers looks beautiful !
54:00 Excellent description of the Citroën fandom. I worked with the German variety of them for almost two decades professionally, and I can confirm every word. Extremely helpful, and great camaraderie. Their volunteers are better than other brand’s professionals. It was great to see that segment on your show, and I hope it’s a motivation for you to give your three Citroën project cars the love and attention these very special cars deserve. I have nothing against your American barges and their delirious styling, but the mechanical side, as rugged and reliable as it is, all tends to be more of the same, excluding the model T.

Hunny bunny is beautiful and smart and she has musical chops! Wow,scott, you are a lucky man! Cheers.
I am, for sure! Cheers...
Thanks for the Citroens!
Hey thanks so much! Very kind of you to help keep us going... All the very best from me and Frankers and the Agents!
Fantastic! The Citroens are absolutely beautiful.
As a Citroen extrenist, i really enjoyed this weeks video
Right on! Glad you liked it... Cheers!
Wow, love the Citroens!
I really like first generation DS dashboards as well as the early white steering wheels
See there bunny...the camera isnt so bad. Bless your heart, your a lovely girl and smart too.❤shout out from the great state of OZ.😊
love the chr. imp. 1938 one FINE CAR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My heart skipped a beat when the garage door opened!
At least she did it in the grass. I was waiting for her to roll around in the driveway!
Another awesome episode for Saturday, cheers!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Good God man, you had a great week. Colour me envious. It's been fun to watch the channel ramp up for a decade plus in quality and quantity, but the Frenchy overload really tickled me this week, all hail the Church of DS.
Yup Pa, they’re doin it again! Nice to see you guys
Love that grey Imperial! We are all jealous!
Giddee up gents. Epic cars, great peeps and fun dogs!
You two are so cute, it is great to see two people with so much in common working together.
Love the '38 Chrysler!
WOW! That DS convertible sure is a sexy car. ;) I hae never seen one before. Very nice.
That's a Chapron Décapotible. They are very expensive cars today, valued at around GBP £150,000. About 1300 cars were built, and the last was converted in 1980 for a British customer - that car still exists. Very few were right-hand-drive.
Scott in Citroen Nerd heaven !! so cool for all those crazy ass cars to be together at the same time , love it , Great episode
Always good to see CWM on a Saturday !!!!
Have a great weekend !!!
I love the font in those old cars-speedo, temp gauge, clock. Your chevy, the imperial, the 30s thru the 60s had the absolute best!
Loved seeing hunny bunny.
Thank You for a great week.
That '38 Chrysler Dan just acquired is a sweet car. It is similar to the car that Johnny Carson's father used to own. Jay Leno has that car now.
I saw quite a few Citroens on the streets of Seattle when I was a kid in the 60s-70s.
CWM - the BEST !!! Hi Bunny!! I've never seen the inside of an automatic transmission before - very interesting how it's all put together. WOW!! what a heck of a find - a CHRYSLER IMPERIAL!! Frankers looks beautiful !
This is one of your best shows....mid mich.
Bought my new calendar !
Hey thanks for ordering one! All the best from everyone here 2025!
You really need to take a call on that old phone in the intro. “Hello, Cold War Motors hotline may we help you.”
Aromatic transmission. Precise. Mechanics. Every part. Made. For each. Other. Thanks ❤❤❤❤❤
Quality Citroen DS action. I'm a very happy viewer.
Hey, glad you liked it!
