Hard to believe that a $15.99 toy would be insanely rare just two years later.
i had one when i was younger and got it for 20$ then i sold it at a garage sale for 10$ now i want it so bad!
Yeah. I saw one online at Walmart for $200+. Crazy.
Have mine. Couldn't find it in any store here. A fellow fan bought me one and mailed it to me, on faith that I would pay her back. I did, of course. No longer lights up. Dead battery I suppose.
Now they cost 120 I swear every tron toy or item is now so much

I found the Kevin and Rinzler discs at Target this morning marked down to $12.99 each and honestly, until I saw them on the shelf, I didn't even know they existed. Love the Kevin disc the most too! very cool!

Those are pretty cool. I'd love to grab the full set of discs from Legacy, but I don't have the kind of money to spare that they're asking for even one of those... I am disappointed that the Rinzler disc wasn't build to split into two discs like in the movie though. Seems like kind of a cop-out for something that's supposed to be a collectable.
They made a throwing version of rinzler
I throw my disc into soft things all the time. Feels so good, I feel like I could derezz someone with it.
i have collected all the discs as well. I had to get two rinzler discs just for my own preference. I am surprised that a C.L.U. identity disc was never released.
I kind of think the sound differences you are hearing might just be from poor quality control on the speakers. The speakers themselves may have different tone response and volume levels. I am building my own.
I wanna get the rinzler one! Also, for all you people posting comments saying "Rinzler's disk should come with two," I have two things to say tu you,
1.) If you want there to be two BUY ANOTHER ONE!
2.) Write a letter to spinmaster or hasbero or whatever company makes them and ask them if you can make it split apart or come with 2.
dude i wish they made suits like they used to film the movie. just for like cosplay reasons and stuff!

it's really hard to find rinzlers and Kevins.
@synapticflow because Flynn's disk is only packaged 1 per box which is considered rarer then the rest
did you know if you unscrew the back of the disc and replace It with sam disc kevin disc will be half white and half black
£20.00 7 years ago, now 7 years later they are about £200.00 WTF, I’m lucky I got two ritzier discs, second hand for £70.00 😊 now to spend £200.00 for Kevin’s disc. Haha
I noticed the problem with the sam stand. I am happy that I was not the only one to notice i thought it was my collector ocd acting up ..

If you want to throw a ring, get an Aerobie or boomerang. I don't know if they still sell those. I had an Aerobie. It got stuck in a tree permanently.
The Kevin Flynn disk looks reminiscent to the old tron ID disks of course maybe that's the point.
@JTMitchell87 he has two discs! ever wonder why he never uses just one of them? he got it while fighting one of Clu's soldiers when he began to take over.
bought the Sam Flynn's at Target for $14. The next day they went up to $20! hahaha but yeah I just saw Kevin Flynn's at Target as well. Have to get that soon.
I got one of these stock spin master Deluxe discs but the Interactive mode is the same as the Try Me mode. No bumping effects and the startup animation isn't there. The Interactive mode is the same as the Try Me. Anyone have an idea why? This is with new batteries. PS: Also it works with 4 batteries installed instead of 6, weird, anyone have any ideas please leave a reply.
im only 15 and i have collected 2 Rinzler discs, a Sam Flynn disc, Kevin Flynn disc, and a Rinzler helmet
found them at target as well as the black guard one man fighter jet witch is what you should do a review on
funny review and the kevin and rinzler disk dont sound too different through my pc? dunno if thats just cos of the way it kicks back the sound through a recording but i liked it B-)

i got sams and kevins at target for 12.99 each and i almost got two rinsers but i did not so just have to look.
Waiting for Tron 3, they will sell this disc again.
Hopefully. We don't know if they'll use the same designs or if it'll even have a toyline though.
@JTMitchell87 - Tried that, it didn't work.
I gonna glue the flat bot. piece of the stand to some perspex to keep it from spreading apart & rocking side to side.
What is the difference between normal and deluxe id discs?

I don’t think rinzlers disc spilts I think he just had two different discs
WOOT! i bought 2 Kevin Flynn's online for 13.99 each thru Target.com (after searching over online and i'm too cheap to spend 40-99 on ebay) i kept one in the box and me and my son play with the one opened and then put it away when we are done. i basically paid 5 dollars extra for 1 more disk (if you consider they avrg 20 at retail price) im happy with it and can't stop playing w/ it.. i might modify mine tho to add more leds or an extra option for the switch to keep in on all the time.
I want them all.

@legostudios22 but in the movie, when Sam meets him, his disc is white, and then when he arrives at the end of the line club, his disc is now black. ??????

I agree about the stand, mine is for crap & I will try to modify it by gluing the stand itself to a flat base of some kind.

The only thing that sucks about the Rinzler disc is that it doesn't split in two.
@JTMitchell87 I actually got my Rinzler disk at target today at a good price, 13.99 so like 15.11 with tax.. This was not easy to get, had to beat a kid before he got to the cash register.. lol jk.. But if anyone sees these disk at any retail store, grab it when u see it, more than likely they will fly faster than the Sam disk..

why are the flynn disks costing so much more?
Saw multiples of both of these at Target this week for $13, so it looks like they're starting to hit. Drives me crazy that you don't know what is coming next in the Tron line. The Spin Master website is terribly outdated, so you don't really know until you see it on the shelves. These, the Series 2 figures and die-cast vehicles and the 3 3/4" scale One Man Light Jet just hit from out of the blue - no warning whatsoever. I'm half expecting to see Series 3 figures on the pegs any day now.

What I'm just wondering is how the F*** did Kevin's Disk turn from white to black? When he was in his hideout in the cliff his disk was white, but when he gets to the End of Line Club his disk was black.
