Just got one for my 2008 GSXR 750 and it worked great besides the smaller starter cover at the top leaked a lot. So I swapped out the cap and o-ring with my OEM parts I just removed and no more leak. For the stator cover, I used the aftermarket gasket that came with it with some silicone gasket maker. Which I found out later they say not to use it with a gasket but it worked out. Also the backside of the starter that pushes onto the starter with an o-ring was all painted inside which made the clearance off and I had to sand the paint off on the inside for it to fit. It also didn’t go on as far back as the OEM cover which made me nervous so I also put more gasket maker on that. And the flat surface on the back of the stator cover that the gasket sits on had paint on two different spots that I had to carefully sand off in case it caused a leak from an uneven surface. Overall mine worked out with some extra work and this was really due to the fact that I had a track day in two days. If you have the money, I’d go with an OEM or high end aftermarket cover.

@@AustinWollI’m having a leak coming from my stator cover do you think it’s the cover and the bolts are tight enough and needs to be replaced ?

Make sure to lock Tite those 3 inside stator bolts too. They come loose inside the housing, can tear shit up.

@@THEBOILEDONE I didn’t have that problem with mine but try not to use nothing too sharp like a razor blade.... 3000 grit sand paper should work ... very light pressure
