My dad had to buy a “family car” back in 2006 when my little brother came along, and I remember I was 5 years old when we had flown to the Frankfurt dealership to buy this car. He got a e320 amg wagon, with a v6 3.0 liter, and he drives it to this very day. I got one of the w211 models in a garage found. It was sitting there without being moved for over 8 years and is now almost 20 years old. We hooked it up to a battery turned the key and the engine ran as if nothing happend. Even the mechanic that was with me was quite impressed by the car.
Bought my friends 2007 e220cdi in 2019. It had 164,000 miles on the clock , it cost 1,300gbp. I ran it for three years and sold it in 2022 for 1500gbp with 194,000 miles on the clock . These cars are the best of the best, I used it to close my business , carry all my stock and take rubbish to the council tip, I worked it into the ground and it ran beautifully and was amazing . Now I've retired and moved to a small cottage in the country , it was too large for me , but 10 out of 10 , the best car you can get
My friend just bought a '04 e400 cdi and gotta be honest its the best car ive ever ridden in. It also made mw want a w211 badly and now im in love with the w211 platform.

They're very good, had a facelift 220cdi for 2 years and it was incredibly reliable, only thing that went wrong was a 15 euro sensor that took 5 min to change. Even got it down to 5l/100km
Wow I've had three of these all estates and all avant-garde and yet you still managed to teach me 2 new toys! I think I should go read the manual, cheers buddy.
Got the E320 Avantgarde with pano roof. I love everything about this car, especially the SBC system. Best car ever for me, still drives and looks better than most other.
I really love my W211 (2006 E350) We had different trim levels and engines here in the US, but it's a lovely car to drive. It certainly doesn't feel like it's pushing up on 20 years old! Great video!
My boss owns the E200 from 2006 6 speed manual. . He got it sent from Germany to Spain. I've had the pleasure to drive it many times and it's a great experience. It's sitting at 630.000KM so far and still climbing. Truly unbreakable titans.
Loved hearing about the history of the car, you can really see how amazing it was for it's time, and even still holds up now. Also really cool how you included your own buisiness cards, really shows you care :))) Can't wait to see what you do next!
I have the same car with the same engine; it has 314k km on it right now and runs perfectly. Super comfortable and still frugal. Best car I ever bought.
I love hearing about cases like yours. When a company like Mercedes builds a quality car such as the W211 which can still be luxurious and reliable after 20 years and 314k km it's something magnificent!
314k is still rookie numbers. Here in Finland we drive cars untill they break because the car tax is so high, my Audi A4 has 365k km and i just switched to E 220 that has only 220 k/km... but many drive diesels to 500 to 700 k/km...
The thing with these Mercs is that you always want to go for the bigger engine. For example the difference in fuel consumption between the smallest 220CDI and 320CDI is only 0.6l more per 100KM. 320CDI is at 7.3l per 100km combined and 6.7l per 100km for the 220CDI.
Insanely handsome and a true gentleman, not only in how you present yourself, but also in how you respond to people making rude and/or immature comments on your videos. Also, your English is far better than most Americans, no joke. You are a catch! 😍
My dad has a E 500 with Designo leather and designo extended leather package. That was a very rare and expensive (I think around €5,000) option when the car was new. Everything is leather with beautiful stitching on it. The dash, door panels etc .
I have a 2005 w211 e220 with 80k kms. I inherited it from family with 60k kms. Had all sorts of issues ( injectors, air suspension, leak in shifting box) but that’s because the car was in garage since before the pandemic. Apart from that it’s an amazing car and drives like a charm. And honestly still beautiful for an almost 20 years old car.
This is THE best E-Class review in RUclips. I haven’t come across any others that show the features like you do. Some excellent features too! Thanks for showing them. I’m looking at buying an E320 CDi estate, so these will be useful. The only thing I don’t like is that apparently they don’t have any cup holders in the front! I’m sure there will be an adapter of some sort on eBay though.
Thank you. IIRC there was some super weird contraption which you could buy from the factory as an add-on that comes out from the glovebox that’s a cupholder.
I just got an 03 e500 in a trade and she’s honestly mint. I couldn’t agree more to the statement that the w211 chasis held up style wise. They’re beautiful cars. I gotta say thank you! You taught me features on my car I didn’t even know about!
such a cool car and looks way better and classy compared to other cars in this price range. this is my realistic dream first car. thank you for the review! the car is even packed with USEFUL features and not with useless tons of features modern cars have nowadays! I got a motivation spike from this
I would personally recommend the E320 with Gasoline+LPG GAs or a E320 CDI ( only with OM 648.961 engine) with the automatic gearbox. It's like a Tank. You can't go wrong with this version. But attention! This version only came with automatic gearbox and it never had 4matic (4x4) setup! If you find a E320 CDI with 4matic and or manual transmission, stay away from it. I managed to get over 840.000km with it before my insurance totaled it after an accident but I'm currently looking again for the E320 CDI or the E320 Gasoline version with LPG Gas injection (Best gasoline engines for the E320 are M112.949 V6 224hp and M112.954 V6 224 which is a great alternative since it came with 4matic)
Thanks a lot Jablarz! Appreciate it. To be honest I was really surprised when I found out the Mercedes-Benz W211 is the third generation Mercedes-Benz E-Class made from 2001 to 2009 in sedan/saloon and station wagon/estate configurations - replacing the W210 E-Class models and superseded by the Mercedes-Benz W212 in 2009. The C219, marketed as the CLS, was introduced as a niche model in 2005, based on W211 mechanicals. Launched in 2002 for the 2003 model year, the W211 E-Class was another evolution of the previous model. Before North American sales began, the car was shown in the 2002 movie Men in Black II.[7][8][9] The W211 development program began in 1997, followed by design work. The final designs were chosen in 1999, and German patents were filed on December 18, 2000 utilizing an E 500 prototype. Development ended in 2001 after 48 months, at a total cost of €2 billion. Pilot production went into testing in the summer of 2001, and the W211 E-Class debuted at the Brussels Motor Show in January 2002. The W211 Platform was also the base foundation for which the newly reintroduced Chrysler LX cars were engineered from (Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger, Dodge Magnum).[10][11][12]
As an enthusiastic owner of a 2005 W211 E350 AvantGarde, thank you for this superb video--one of the best, even showing features of the SBC that I didn't know. These W211 cars are awesome--this is why I still drive one as the car approaches 20 years of age. At 7:54 we see one of the potential faults of the series. If over exposed to sunlight and heat (as happens here in Australia) you'll find the stitched seams at the top edge of the rear seats deteriorates and splits--and interior headlining can begin to detach from its base (fixed with discrete spiral pins which help prevent ongoing deterioration). Exterior rubber trim below the windscreen (replaced for $850Au), secondary trim underneath at the boot edges and at the base of the side windows also degrades. I therefore now garage my 350 under cover. Before the E350 I owned the brilliant W124 300E--selling it when it was age 28. The 300E had no such upholstery or rubber issues and shows that the E-Class suffered in build quality under the period of Chrysler's ownership of Daimler-Benz. BTW, loved the gutsy sound of the small turbodiesel, something I never expected :-)
Exterior rubber trim, below the windshield, is the cowling. Use a new cutter to cut off the 1.7m long X 5mm strip of broken aged rubber on the cowling. Buy 2m length x 25mm strip of MetalSeal rubber, online, one side is self sealing for just a few dollar. Clean the glass & old cowling for oil free & dry. Then apply the sealing tape. 😂😂
This is a very specific and detailed review, I'm considering buying a E-class 2004/07 and even if it's an old car I don't really care. I just love this car, looks and feel amazing. Thank you!
What a great review of my beloved workhorse! One of the best, and great english. I drove cca 100.000 miles in 2006 220 cdi avantgarde estate, and 2008 320 cdi sport saloon - and still you showed me some new tricks! Let me give you... some more features, haha 🙂 1. you can pull inner side of the sunshade off and rotate it towards your side window when sun is from the side - and pull it out so it reaches precisely into the corner of the door window! ... and there is a SECOND sunshade to pull down for the front windscreen 🙂. I love it. You can do that on passenger side as well while feeling sorry for all the peasants suffering low sun conditions :-P 2. If you are a grumpy and stocky old man, later versions have "easy entry" - steering wheel rolls up when you open the car, and then after you close the door, back down into driving position - easy entry with pockets full of phone, keys, wallet etc. 3. some saloons have two (one for 2/3, one for 1/3) rear seat release switches in the trunk. So you can actually fold the rear seats comfortably from the rear. The front seats will lean up by themselves whn you release rear seats to allow easier folding. 3.1.: you can pull the bottom of rear seat out and lean it against front seats, and THEN lower the backrest (pull out the headrest) - getting a perfect flat surface with the trunk. 4. You can connect your iphone/android to AUX exit in glove compartment and play spotify music through it - or listen to google maps navigation on car speakers. It is far worse than digital connectivity of later models, but it does work - in a car from stone age! 5. You navigation CD is in the trunk. There are late versions of updated cd/dvd's up to 2016 roads available on ebay I believe. 5. You have I think 3 versions of the trunk: A). just a huge empty trunk with some underfloor compartments, B). trunk with two extra seats (collapsible under floor) for your less desirable sidekicks (like your girlfriend's mother, or a friend's friend, or perhaps wife's children from previous relationships - things like that), 3. version with special hidden compartment BETWEEN rear seat and the boot - very rare! - people intelligent enough to spot it have a much better job than being a traffic cop. Could be very useful in certain occupations 🙂 6. self-closing trunk doors when not closing properly. So no slamming, just lean the trunk door close and the mechanism pulls them in and shuts. Some late models have fully electric trunk door (open/close).
The key thing with the W211 is that they took care of the rust issue that all W210 in cold climates had. It was more spacious and overall a better-refined vehicle. My father had the E320 CDI and that thing was a beast!
Well done brate, videos are professional from the get-go and you got a nice approach to everything. Also your accent is really good, doesnt tear up the ears like many others from this region. Keep the vids up!
1:37 Those aren‘t the Elegance backlights, those are the standard facelift backlights that every trim version had. Also the chrome you mentioned came with the Elegance trim. In general, the Elegance trim is top notch and most luxurious. Avantgarde is just there for sportiness.
Absolutely Amazing video! Thanks bro! I drive E350 2006 year model avantgarde, and still it is the best car I have had. I even didn’t know that tunnel mode and sbc s, Amazing❤
Great car! Got one 3 years back, only problem is getting a good mechanic in Abuja Nigeria. Been having an on and off issue with SBC so the gear frequently goes on emergency mode.
few mistakes but its okay , a few things that seem general are not actually general for example the starting ( the pulse on the key without holding that was not acctually available on classic or elegance models ) , the sbc is not actually that bad if it breaks , it will be expensive but it doesnt cut the breaks just so you know it has 2 backups 1 is your emergency brake which most likely doesnt hold which is typical mercedes also you have a mecanical break , so when the pump goes in any state of error which can be a pump failure or a cilinder /brake line failure it will disable completly and it will switch to the mecanical version which a small master cilinder pushing brake fluid in to the front wheels braking sistem and only the front with about 20% of the maximum power that the pump would of produce and that also helps a lot because its not loosing the rest of the fluid by disabling the pump because the rear wheels have some issues with pipes and they corrode and break which is common on mercedes of that era and they took that in consideration in my oppinion with only having brakes in the front as a backup ,also the trunk is not automatic is spring loaded and the latch is electronic and that was only on sedans where the estates didnt have that option nor the button on key or door but instead on estate you had soft close , also yours is smoking quiet a bit looks like injectors because its black , sbc s is not available for all of them aswell no matter the trim level i own a very well spec avantgarde with even the dynamic driver seat with the pulsing option like an old massage and well on mine sbc s doesnt actually exist was never part of the enabled features it can be enabled being only part of the module but its not by factory . also the cluster had 3 designs classic one is the one you didnt show which is like the elegance but missing the chrome accent , and you can retrofit the cls ones which are similar in design but looks way cooler and more retro , on top of that many were optionals not standard so all w211 are very different in configuration even with the same trim level from textile seats to leather seats with heating in the front and rear seats too , options for 7 seats on the estate and many many more , also the gearbox had w/s on some where on other c/s which was actually read by many comfort /sport (btw thats bs if you ever put a tester on it the gearbox only reads w/s which stands for winter and summer) also is a very slow gearbox having an open torque converter which can make all gears slip for the sake of comfort sometimes making it feel like a cvt and its kinda annoying if you hate cvt like me :)) also if you would have the 4 zone climate control you will curse your days because it goes all the way to 12 degrees celsius which means a much more expensive ac compressor and when i say much more expensive i mean 3 times the price of the 2 zone climate control to keep that in mind ..... btw i have the 4 zone climate control its not fun when the ac compressor breaks... also on the estate they have a very nice self leveling rear being on air bags well all i can say is the bags last pretty well but the compressor is a pain , its not expensive if its only the standard one but sometimes it will make you blame the bags and those are expensive , if you have the airmatic front and back then the compressor is much more expensive and so are bags in the front as they come with the shock absorber and many other details about these cars , they are great cars still decent on economy but a pain in the ass when anything breaks .
i have never ever seen a w211 that you have to hold the key to start it and i,ve had a couple of them ( same with w210 actually), the only Mercedeses later than 1990s ive seen that you have to hold the key in start pos to start is my GFs w169 (A-class). They were made like that since they were available with keyless go as extra equipment. This goes with all trim levels.
@@halvaraspegren7635 i actually own a w211 classic that does require to hold the key to start it and my cousing has a elegance that does the same only my avantgarde has the option to just pulse the key and it will actually start on its on no matter how long it cranks
Suppose thats some of the first modells then? Since this is a heritage from older models ( w210 etc) i doubt it even was an option but standard equipment on all trims. As I mentioned i never see a W211 that doesnt have the electronic starting system and its also not mentioned as equipment what ive seen either. Im no expert but ive seen and owned some of these and owning one now low spec high mileage and all had it that Way.
11:41 I have a version with folable back seats. You fold the seats up, and the back down forwards, if that make sense. I have transported a whole ikea kitchen in that car.😊
How you compare it to the BMW E39 regarding interior build quality, driving experience... and ultimately, which one would you choose and why? Keep up the good work!
@@market_car I don't think so, my dad has an e320 and it doesn't skip any gears, it's probably cause since there's a stronger engine, there's the sport option but if you want less fuel consumption you put it on comfort, which also lessens the rpms at full throttle. On sport they go to the max 5k rpm (for a diesel) while on comfort around 4k. But there probably is some truth to the amount of torque. Edit: Another thing i wanna point out, also a reason why it has C/S is because its a higher tier class compared to a classic e220. So Avantgarde has C/S, as for Elegance i dont know. But im sure classic has the W/S. My dad has an Avantgarde so i know an Avantgarde has C/S.
Really nice car bro. In my language , Urdu, we have a saying that goes along the lines of "a man without a moustache has nothing". Keep up the good work, God bless!
Great review, shame you don't like the leather on the doors I think it's lovely. Though I much prefer light coloured or brown/red interiors to black myself and I prefer the E320 CDI. That SBC S feature is news to me, I'll have to try it out when I'm next in such a car seems very ahead of it's time and I'm surprised no one else reviewing one of these has mentioned it.
Definitely better than plastic or something similar but I much prefer how BMW did it on the E39. I'm also a light interior guy. Didn't know about SBC S either until the owner told me about it. I was astounded. Thanks!
Hi!I live in Greece and i want soooo much to buy this model ( e200 facelift 2007 1.8 cc 184 hp)but i am afraid of the cost of a year service, the consumption of the gas, here in greece one liter of gas costs 1.8€,or the cost of possible malfunctions etc etc!!But i love so much this car!

Great video, and nice car :) I've spent a lot of time in these, as I used to work as a taxi driver. But, even I learned a couple of things by watching this :)
in the USA the gear shifter has C/S Comfort & Sport the ante pkg comes with real leather which explains why the doors have that ugly look. almost ALL sport packages and AMG packages P1 & P2 it comes with BENZtex interior looks brand new even tho the outside dosent.
From a w211 user, the manual version is way better, specially if you have the e220 facelift or the e280 (the highest engine version you can have with the manual gearbox). e220 facelift do 0-100 in 8.4/8.6s
8.4 is quick for the 2.2 you probably had the 170hp or stage 1 on it the regular 150hp does it in about 10s i have the automatic it does it in around 11.5s and my cousin has the sedan manual and it does it in around 10s
No both before and after facelift the LED tail lights was for avantgarde only wich is the highest trim level for w210 and w211 just as he mention in this video.
I had a avandgard estate. Fantastic cars❤ I got somewhat sleepy behind the weel because it just drives to smooth!😅 I now have a c200 estate wich is somewhat more sporty.

The "tunnel mode" 's main feature is it recycles the cabin air, for example if the car in front of you is emitting a lot of smoke
Or rather so you don't inhale the fumes that build up in tunnels.

Even got it down to 5l/100km
Which sensor you mean?@@kristoffer3000
Wow I've had three of these all estates and all avant-garde and yet you still managed to teach me 2 new toys! I think I should go read the manual, cheers buddy.
Cheers!
Got the E320 Avantgarde with pano roof.
I love everything about this car, especially the SBC system.
Best car ever for me, still drives and looks better than most other.
Beside the M113 the M112 was the best engine Mercedes ever built. Nice combo you have!
I really love my W211 (2006 E350) We had different trim levels and engines here in the US, but it's a lovely car to drive. It certainly doesn't feel like it's pushing up on 20 years old! Great video!
Completely agree Greg, great car. Thanks!
Nice Merc. This summer I drove Audi A6 v6 from 2003 with 480 000km and work smootly!!!
Thank you so much! Really nice that you noticed the cards!
What an extended and in depth, very complete review . Respect
Thank you very much Mr. Peyroux!
best video yet! the car has so many quirks and you present them so well! keep going ❤
Thank you so much Julija!!
Eh I already upgraded to the E500 might as well go for the full E63 at this point…
Greetings from Albania . The W211 will ALWAYS be my weakness and I drive a S204
Insanely handsome and a true gentleman, not only in how you present yourself, but also in how you respond to people making rude and/or immature comments on your videos. Also, your English is far better than most Americans, no joke. You are a catch! 😍
Appreciate that a lot! Might print this comment out and put it on my wall. Thanks for the kind words
My dad has a E 500 with Designo leather and designo extended leather package. That was a very rare and expensive (I think around €5,000) option when the car was new. Everything is leather with beautiful stitching on it. The dash, door panels etc .
I buy a E270 CDI 90.000km this car its amazing
I have the e220 07 model bought new in 07 only 77k miles still drives like new only use it for holidays brilliant car
@@market_car Cool. Thank you for your reply.
Believe it or not, I have it as E 400 CDI Avantgarde. Original AMG package outside, Designo Style inside.
I got a motivation spike from this
Thank you for such a nice comment
Yeah, but the mpg is probably worse than a v8 crown vic. With the diesel 2.2 you get 40 mpg easily.
e320cdi gets better fuel consumption than 220 cdi
kind of videos ive been looking for
deeply explained, not just reading info from wikipedia or other statistics
good job 👍👍
I have E320 2004 modem still in great condition. We bought it back in 2015.
Amazing car, you'll probably have it until 2030!
Thanks for the tips Mr. Chapman! It's really nice to see people take care of their W211s like you are doing!
I can agree with every point you mentioned. One of the best quality cars Mercedes has built. I love my E 240 and hope I can drive it for a long time.
Absolutely amazing video! Your showing me things about my W211 E320 CDI that I've never known before. keep up the good work!
Thank you very much Mr. Fowler! Appreciate it!
This is a very specific and detailed review, I'm considering buying a E-class 2004/07 and even if it's an old car I don't really care. I just love this car, looks and feel amazing. Thank you!
One of the timeless machines produced ever!. Still enjoying my W211 E240. Thinking of going diesel now.
What a great review of my beloved workhorse! One of the best, and great english. I drove cca 100.000 miles in 2006 220 cdi avantgarde estate, and 2008 320 cdi sport saloon - and still you showed me some new tricks! Let me give you... some more features, haha 🙂
1. you can pull inner side of the sunshade off and rotate it towards your side window when sun is from the side - and pull it out so it reaches precisely into the corner of the door window! ... and there is a SECOND sunshade to pull down for the front windscreen 🙂. I love it. You can do that on passenger side as well while feeling sorry for all the peasants suffering low sun conditions :-P
Could be very useful in certain occupations 🙂
6. self-closing trunk doors when not closing properly. So no slamming, just lean the trunk door close and the mechanism pulls them in and shuts. Some late models have fully electric trunk door (open/close).
This should be a pinned comment if I could pin two. So much good info here! Thanks Mr. Meelenko!
Thank you very much Mr. Cubura. Hope to make more videos for you!!
1:37 Those aren‘t the Elegance backlights, those are the standard facelift backlights that every trim version had. Also the chrome you mentioned came with the Elegance trim. In general, the Elegance trim is top notch and most luxurious. Avantgarde is just there for sportiness.
nice video! just bought a e220 today! after some bad bmw experiances...
Time for good experiences with Mercedes!
Absolutely Amazing video! Thanks bro!
I drive E350 2006 year model avantgarde, and still it is the best car I have had.
I even didn’t know that tunnel mode and sbc s, Amazing❤
Thank YOU Luka. Amazing car! Greetings to Georgia from Serbia!
very comprehensive review , feature i didnt even know existed , fairplay to you . keep up the good work
Thank you!
Just bought this beauty today
2007
E220 cdi
In Pakistan
And loving it ❤❤❤
The best!
Great car! Got one 3 years back, only problem is getting a good mechanic in Abuja Nigeria. Been having an on and off issue with SBC so the gear frequently goes on emergency mode.
Good thing is you probably won't have to visit him often. Hope you get it sorted out. Shoutout to Nigeria!
Amazing video brother!! Well done, keep it up! And greetings from Bulgaria!
Thank you very much!!
few mistakes but its okay , a few things that seem general are not actually general for example the starting ( the pulse on the key without holding that was not acctually available on classic or elegance models ) , the sbc is not actually that bad if it breaks , it will be expensive but it doesnt cut the breaks just so you know it has 2 backups 1 is your emergency brake which most likely doesnt hold which is typical mercedes also you have a mecanical break , so when the pump goes in any state of error which can be a pump failure or a cilinder /brake line failure it will disable completly and it will switch to the mecanical version which a small master cilinder pushing brake fluid in to the front wheels braking sistem and only the front with about 20% of the maximum power that the pump would of produce and that also helps a lot because its not loosing the rest of the fluid by disabling the pump because the rear wheels have some issues with pipes and they corrode and break which is common on mercedes of that era and they took that in consideration in my oppinion with only having brakes in the front as a backup ,also the trunk is not automatic is spring loaded and the latch is electronic and that was only on sedans where the estates didnt have that option nor the button on key or door but instead on estate you had soft close , also yours is smoking quiet a bit looks like injectors because its black , sbc s is not available for all of them aswell no matter the trim level i own a very well spec avantgarde with even the dynamic driver seat with the pulsing option like an old massage and well on mine sbc s doesnt actually exist was never part of the enabled features it can be enabled being only part of the module but its not by factory . also the cluster had 3 designs classic one is the one you didnt show which is like the elegance but missing the chrome accent , and you can retrofit the cls ones which are similar in design but looks way cooler and more retro , on top of that many were optionals not standard so all w211 are very different in configuration even with the same trim level from textile seats to leather seats with heating in the front and rear seats too , options for 7 seats on the estate and many many more , also the gearbox had w/s on some where on other c/s which was actually read by many comfort /sport (btw thats bs if you ever put a tester on it the gearbox only reads w/s which stands for winter and summer) also is a very slow gearbox having an open torque converter which can make all gears slip for the sake of comfort sometimes making it feel like a cvt and its kinda annoying if you hate cvt like me :)) also if you would have the 4 zone climate control you will curse your days because it goes all the way to 12 degrees celsius which means a much more expensive ac compressor and when i say much more expensive i mean 3 times the price of the 2 zone climate control to keep that in mind ..... btw i have the 4 zone climate control its not fun when the ac compressor breaks... also on the estate they have a very nice self leveling rear being on air bags well all i can say is the bags last pretty well but the compressor is a pain , its not expensive if its only the standard one but sometimes it will make you blame the bags and those are expensive , if you have the airmatic front and back then the compressor is much more expensive and so are bags in the front as they come with the shock absorber and many other details about these cars , they are great cars still decent on economy but a pain in the ass when anything breaks .
i have never ever seen a w211 that you have to hold the key to start it and i,ve had a couple of them ( same with w210 actually), the only Mercedeses later than 1990s ive seen that you have to hold the key in start pos to start is my GFs w169 (A-class).
I had one of these, 2004, but with the far superior 270 CDI (5 cylinder) engine. So much better than the 4cyl 220.
Great review, reminded me of some good old times. Good luck on your channel. Greetings from Albania
Thanks very much Mr. Flavor. Much love to Albania!
This car is king of all cars 💯🔥👑
This was so good, perfectly informative without being too long. Amazing content.
Thank you very much Mr. Njoroge! Means a lot!
Well spoken mate! Looking forward to more from you. Thank you 🫡
Thank you very much Mr. Grenade!
How you compare it to the BMW E39 regarding interior build quality, driving experience... and ultimately, which one would you choose and why? Keep up the good work!
I'd take the E39 because I prefer a more sporty car. The Mercedes is very luxurious and quirky but it doesn't feel that sporty. Thank you!
In terms of W/S Modes, for stronger engines like the E270 and up you have C/S instead, which stands for Comfort/Sport.
Maybe because the stronger engines had too much torque so they skipped first gear normally?
Very nice video. I don't understand though, that you didn't clean the car before filming.
Feeling very disappointed with my car-cleaning skills right now 😭
The leather door panels are beautiful.i have an 320cdi estate full leather and 4*4
Yup last year bought 2.2cdi soo happy
Happy for you! Enjoy it.
Really nice car bro. In my language , Urdu, we have a saying that goes along the lines of "a man without a moustache has nothing". Keep up the good work, God bless!
Thanks Mr. Salman! 👨🏻
Thanks!
I recenrtly bougt a e320cdi v6 almost full option awesome car :)
Great to hear!
Hi!I live in Greece and i want soooo much to buy this model ( e200 facelift 2007 1.8 cc 184 hp)but i am afraid of the cost of a year service, the consumption of the gas, here in greece one liter of gas costs 1.8€,or the cost of possible malfunctions etc etc!!But i love so much this car!
cold revving hits brate
the button is not a tunnel mode it is to stop the air from entering the cabin and filter the dust
I have a 2004 E270cdi,its. Outstanding❤
Amazing car!
Best review for a car, and I'm definitely buying one
Love that!
Btw anyone from Serbia pls plug my guy in with w124, we need a review on this classic piece 💯
Thanks HoodJ, let's get that w124!
As a Serbian your accent is excellent, keep up!!!
Thanks Djordje
hey, can you try to find any CLS C218 to show?
Will try!
Great review, i really like cars from this era of automotive industry. They are built so well... Keep up the good work! ✌
Thanks Nebojša!
Für mich einer der besten Mercedes die bis dato gebaut worden sind. Der Fahrkomfort ist unglaublich gut u. auch gut gedämmt.
Growing up in the 2000's, this was the quintessential Mercedes.
Era defining for sure
Great video, and nice car :) I've spent a lot of time in these, as I used to work as a taxi driver. But, even I learned a couple of things by watching this :)
Thank you. For you this is basically like watching someone review your office.
@@market_car Hahah Yeah, true 🙈 I've been interested in cars for most of my life tho, so watching great videos, like this, is always nice 🙂
Third w211 for me, had to sell them because of college, cant wait to get one again!
anyways this 211 has a black roof? did he get that custom made?
Think he did
in the USA the gear shifter has C/S Comfort & Sport the ante pkg comes with real leather which explains why the doors have that ugly look. almost ALL sport packages and AMG packages P1 & P2 it comes with BENZtex interior looks brand new even tho the outside dosent.
Thanks for the info! Great to know when buying one.
@@market_car np 🧐
Perfect review, thanks! I love the design of this era E-class more and more. I´m gonna have to buy one soon :)
Regarding stopping without breaks, even the W123 automatics could that. And that was in the 80s.
I didn't know that. Thanks Daniel!
Someone give a w140 to this guy, just to know what a real cool mercedes looks like
PLEASE
Wow! Props for making such an in-depth and great video. I hope you gain the followers you deserve :)
Thank you very much!
my 2005 e270 can fold the 2 rear seat by 2 pulling tabs are on the trunk ....
W211 one of the best Mercs of all time!!
From a w211 user, the manual version is way better, specially if you have the e220 facelift or the e280 (the highest engine version you can have with the manual gearbox). e220 facelift do 0-100 in 8.4/8.6s
More fun too!
8.4 is quick for the 2.2 you probably had the 170hp or stage 1 on it the regular 150hp does it in about 10s i have the automatic it does it in around 11.5s and my cousin has the sedan manual and it does it in around 10s
Vlasnik sam W210 “okca” 320 CDI.Odličan auto,odlični dizel motori.
You really deserve more subs! Really good video. You just earned a sub
Thank you very much!
Nice video, man, usefull! Can you bring the S/CL,the model between 2001-2005?Thanks!
I'll add it to my list. Thank you!
@@market_car Thank you,man!
I've owned a few 211's over the past few years and never had any idea about the SBS breaking 😂
The elegance was the top trim level, and the tailights where not different from trim levels, the taillight in your video is from before restyling.
No both before and after facelift the LED tail lights was for avantgarde only wich is the highest trim level for w210 and w211 just as he mention in this video.
I had a avandgard estate. Fantastic cars❤
I got somewhat sleepy behind the weel because it just drives to smooth!😅
I now have a c200 estate wich is somewhat more sporty.
Very good review man!
The rear seats are actually foldable, just look for a 2 levers in the trunk!
