Silko was a very smart guy and by the looks of what we've seen so far, the brain of the operation him and Vander had. He mass procured shimmer to use it as leverage against Piltover. He needed something to show that he had power against hextech. When he met with Jace for negotiations, he even said he already began the process of discontinuing the production of shimmer. I do believe that if things went smoothly and got his nation (and if he didn't have to offer Jinx) he would have permanently gotten rid of shimmer. Or at least maintain it under strict control like Piltover did with Hextech.
Pretty sure you misunderstood what that remark in the negotions meant. Silco did not start discontinuing the shimmer production. Jace did that for him when he took out the shimmer factory.
I'm glad I'm seeing more people come around on Singed being like Mr Freeze, with some Frankenstein being tossed in the mix. Genuinely have new found respect for him and his character. Truly fitting a classic saying of "the road to hell is paved with good intentions".

The final episode of this season of Arcane was so good and super emotional. I’m really excited to see where Jayce goes and what he’ll do in the next season!
Does anyone else notice that when Jayce came back Salo’s breath wasn’t visible while Jayce’s breath was clearly seen. In that chamber it’s sooo cold that everyone’s breath is visible when they exhale. Something is up with the people that Victor healed that isn’t normal. See you in the next reaction.
The voice said "Sister" to Mel as a way of mocking the fact that she was using her brother as a puppet(Illusion). But the voice is probably not her real brother. They probably want her as a weapon.
It would have helped if the subtitles had put "sister" in quotation marks. I'm still wondering who the real villain is there, though. Mama Medarda said in last season that her son crossed the "wrong man', yet so far it's come across as a female that's behind the attacks. But I don't know enough about League to even be able to venture a guess who the character might be, assuming it's even a champion.

The flashback scene making everything hurt just a little bit more. So many emotions were said with just one line from Vi. Blisters and Bedrock. Also when Salo and Jayce are talking after the wild rune closes Salo doesn’t have a breath. Jayce does and even going back to episode 3 Ekko, Jayce and Heimerdinger breath’s are all visible. Something to note. Jayce definitely saw some dark future of evil entity in the arcane.
But what if Victor and Jayce saw different things. Jayce got into a Hextech that was like eating the surroundings like the tree where Ekko lives while Victor's Hextech was Sky and his own blood.

If you go back to episode 1, there is basically a radius around Mel where the council chamber is undamaged.
I think at the end of s1 just as it cuts off we see Mel's gold stuff (idk what it is) shine as well
