I know at least one of the villagers you showed on screen while saying all the ones you were showing were cut after e+ was brought back in New Leaf's "Welcome Amiibo update"
couldn't you have chosen a better and safer spot to unbox it? it gave me so much anxiety that i was legit clenching my buttcheeks troughout.. one wrong move one gust of wind and sploosh..
Doubutsu No Mori got ported to the GameCube first in Japan, though, as Doubutsu No Mori+, in mid-December 2001. It adds two normal villagers (Punchy and Cheri), redesigns a load of the others, as well as the island, Able Sisters, museum and Tortimer (who's got a load of exclusive items only seen in this game)... honestly kind of annoying seeing it skipped over, given the Western Animal Crossing only adds the Mario theme/the Mario trophies, summer campers, Groundhog Day and Turkey day.
Would the two unused seasonal pallettes happen to be called "nuke" in the game's data? I ask because they look a lot like what I've seen of a special e+ feature, where you can actually save a copy of your town to an SD card via the official memory card slot adapter, and then lend it out to someone either physically or over the internet. They can then play around in it to their heart's content and then return it to you. In other words, it's like an inverted version of the travelling mechanic, where instead of your character temporarily leaving your save file, it's your _town_ doing so. You can technically still visit your town while it's lent-out, but it'll be frozen in time and, if I heard right, limited in functionality since the system has no way of knowing what changes the person you lent the town to have made to the town until it comes back. While in this frozen state, where even the ingame clock doesn't move a tick, unique lifeless pallettes are used as a constant visual reminder that your town not currently "alive" on your system at the moment.
I don't quite understand why they didn't take note from most of the original translation, unless the majority of dialogue in general changed I suppose. I'm so excited too!
it’s been like 5 months and only 29k views?!??? it’s such a good video it deserves more
Going to a private island? That sound oddly familiar... I dont know where from though...
2:28 I've never seen the inside cover of e+ before, only the cardboard box. That's so cool!
Solid video, very high quality! Great content!!
fully thought this was vinny from vinesauce what the fuck
Hahaha I don’t think I sound like him, but I love his streams/videos!
What a perfect video, thanks for this!
I wish Microsoft of America was like Nintendo of Japan.
3:16 imagine if you are walking at 3 A.M and then random dog yells at you in Japanese
6:27 Actually the squirrel in the blossom dress is (might be idk) Sylvana (I think that’s her name) she’s back in NH!
D-did u just open an unopened Animal crossing E+ box... u monster
I heard horse mackerel and my whole body felt like drop kicking that fish shadow shape
i wish i had the older games i only ever played new leaf (and it's very hard to find old ac games in belgium, i've looked online too but the best i found is a second hand wild world gamecard only for €40)
Then don’t live in Belgium simple
The bit about islands... Tom Nook's end game has clearly always been the Deserted Island Getaway Package. 😂😊
8:40 "Keep this place a secret from everyone", isn't that from Zelda?
Yup! Subtle Zelda Reference :)
Well it's not exactly a secret to everyone anymore :p
I know at least one of the villagers you showed on screen while saying all the ones you were showing were cut after e+ was brought back in New Leaf's "Welcome Amiibo update"
1:37 Oh! I saw my favorite villager, Walker!
I didn't know Kapp'n was a fan of Marie Kondo...
I had no idea who this was so I just looked her up. I'll have to apply her techniques to my Animal Crossing New Horizons storage..
The person translating Animal Crossing E+ English patch released a beta version of the translation
couldn't you have chosen a better and safer spot to unbox it? it gave me so much anxiety that i was legit clenching my buttcheeks troughout.. one wrong move one gust of wind and sploosh..
Underrated channel and video!!!
Thank you for all of that information!
I love how Fre- I mean Champagne was brought back
It would also be cool to have a proper English version of Animal Forest; but it's probably not gonna happen.
Animal Forest does have a pretty good English translation, but it's a bit buggy when you open up your inventory, it's still really playable tho
its going to happen (not official tho)
There were a couple of the features in the American version but most of them are long gone
Sylvana made a comeback in the 2016 Welcome Amiibo update.
I very much look forward to the translation being finished.
It would be an incredibly nice surprise if, after GameCube games come to Switch, they localize E+ instead of bringing over the original.
Thank you for this video. It would be amazing if Nintendo localized E+ someday and released it digitally. Helping people know why it is a much better version of the original is great. This video will help so many people understand why we missed out on so much.
Poor Nobuo (a lazy penguin) was also removed.
There's actually quite a few villagers that only appeared in e+, not just the ones you showed on screen. My favorite is Meow.
I love Meow. We need to bring Meow back.
It's been almost two years since this (awesome, by the way) video. Are there any updated news about how's going the fan translation project, please?
The last update we got was in June of this year, the owner of the project has decided to make all of the patches free 1 month after the last patreon update is released which should be soon. Sorry that I can't offer much more info!
@@WilbosWorld No, don't apologize! You're the only reason I even know about this project in the first place.
But not sure I understand correctly the answer. The author will set the patches free, but only for those suscribed to their patreon?
6:27 the squirrel looks almost exactly like Sylvana who is available in new horizons
after ages of wanting to play the e+ fan translation, i figured out a way to play it on wii :) i really liked playing the original English version so im excited for all the new features
I might be a redundant comment here but I'm pretty dang sure that black ladybug is in the NTSC Animal Crossing...
Amazing video! I didn’t know about all these fun changes they added!
