I love this video and the music, can hear the ladies voice just fine. What a relaxing video ❤❤❤ i am in uk i have catio for my cats they access via a cat flap tunnel from the house. It had polycarbonate clear roof which was a bit hot in the south facing garden jn summer anyway a hailstorm wrecked it. So now i have felt corrugated roof which is cooler. I use a blackout curtain through summer as otherwise my white cat would bake herself in the sun. I love i can leave litter trays outside now. Love your specially adapted cat living room. You obviously adore your cats. Blessings to you all you seem lovely ❤🎉

Thanks. Our catio is half under an eave which helps keep it in the shade. Its great to meet other cat people :)
We started with a catio kit like this, from Wayfair. It quickly proved to be too small for our 4 cats, but more importantly, it doesn't stand up to our climate over time. It is three years old, and the roof is caving in. It wouldn't keep out a strong predator. Six months ago, we built a larger, permanent catio around it, 8' x 10' with 2"x4" lumber and strong mesh wire. We kept the small catio kit in place as an inner room to provide shade and cover from rain and snow. We may have to dismantle the kit catio within a few more years as it is breaking down from weather wear. However, I do wish you well and much enjoyment of your little catio. Thank you for the video.

The catio looks great, but I couldn't hear a word you said between the low volumn on your mike and the loudness of the music.

LOVE IT !! trying to figure out which one I should get for our unexpected family of cats. Tiny cat showed up on our property. Thought it was a baby rabbit until we got a closer look. probably a barn cat from one of the places around here). Began feeding this little girl and after a week she let us get close to her. She was skin and bones so my husband named her Skinny Minnie. small cat
Its so wonderful you and your husband took Skinny Minnie in. She's a lucky girl. This catio was easy to put together and would give her a safe place to chill. We also wrapped in screening to keep the bugs out. All of our are rescues. They really appreciate when they find a home with love!
I love your intentions, and is a great change for cats be out, but there is no green in there. Plants help the regulate the temperature outside. The cloth on the top don’t protect from the sun much, but maybe is in shaded area, so that’s not a problem.
Don’t forget that wood can rot very quickly if it’s touching the ground, maybe you could put a higher metal frame on the bottom and you will increase the time span from your beautiful catio.
Thanks for your input. It's a perfect corner for the catio because the eave of the house keeps it in the shade. I have catnip and bushes around the catio also to keep things cool and to attack the birds. They are loving it. It's hard to get Leo to come in at dusk lol

The instruction were well written. It took approximately 3.5 to 4 hours. It helps to lay out all the pieces as we did. Luckily we had great weather and enjoyed working on it. I hope you are able to build one for your kitties.
Your catio looks different than the one on Amazon…yours has a tie-on cover for the top and the Amazon one is asphalt. Also, yours has a plank to walk up which I don’t see on the Amazon one. Is there one that looks like yours?

"we" assembled the catio, "we" put down 4 bags of pea gravel, "we" put insect screen around the finished catio - while the men are working in the hot sun and the woman is filming and talking to the bumblebee and the dog. Yes the patriarchy is evil to women.
Actually "I" carried and put down the pea gravel. And then "I" wrapped it in insect screen :) I hope "you" get to put a catio up for your cats..
