Royal Entei I’m definitely taking MJ, Lebron, Magic, Bill Russell and Wilt over him. I’d argue for Kareem and Shaq over him but if you really think he’s better than those first 5 guys...
I totally agree that the new era of basketball is something. However, the era of MJ shaped the game you know now. Also, if you will compare the game now vs. the game back then, it was a lot harder back then because there were few rules that protect the player. You gotta play tougher back then, And MJ? Every game that he had, had exceptional highlights. Come on now.. Some players nowadays just manipulate their stats, back then winning was first priority and everything follows.
let me know when MJ averaged a triple double in the finals, nope he didn't. Let me know when he's top 50 all time in points, rebounds and assists ... oh wait, only Lebron and Wilt. Lebron will also finish #1 all time in scoring and #4 in assists. Also, MJ played worse every round going deeper into the playoffs whereas Lebron improves. Each round MJ scored less, assisted less and turned over the ball more, Lebron scores more, assists more and turns over the ball less as the playoffs progress.
I've tried watching MJ highlights and they're honestly not entertaining at all, open mid-range shots and open threes. Then, obviously have to admit his flashy dunks were at least impressive, but overall not really impressed. I still do have him has #2 all time though because the numbers speak for themselves.
@@windandcloudshadow158 those dudes had no practice guarding elite perimeter players, Steph would cook them just like does now!! Also, people fail to realize the rest of his greatness.
Only thing gsw is better than bulls is their 3 point shooting. Bulls achieved 72-10 run when they were many superstars. Gsw achieved 73-9 run during the time of end of many superstars (kobe,kg ray allen ,tim duncan, paul pierce, steve nash, nowitski, dwade)i.eOnly prime superstars were lebron, kd, cp3, melo .So don't compare gsw to Chicago bulls run.

@@hhgvffvv2990 That's what I'm saying. He's scored more points than most people but that doesn't stop randoms from critiquing everything under the sun.
The Goat needs to meet these qualifications. 1. Have the previous stars, current stars and next stars call you the goat. MJ had Magic and Bird say it and everyone in mj career called him that and everyone after plus kobe bryant. 2. Turn a Franchise around to be winners and not jumps teams who had A+ stars or demand certain players, but make the people on your team better. 3. Have seasons of crazy win-lose ratio. (The Bulls did) 4. Teams come up with rules just for you (pistons had the Jorden Rule. Other teams would rather lose to the bulls team and not have MJ be the one to beat them) 5. Don't do any fake flops (MJ NEVER)LJ did alot 6. Getting double, triple, quadruple teamed and still making the basket 7. Only reason to not play a game is if it was an injury/surgery. Which MJ missed 6 weeks from broken foot 1985 and he missed one game in Bulls’ sixth preseason contest in 1997-98 ingrown toenails 8. You changed the way the game was played.
But we are in a new era which is what Hollins is explaining we shoot more threes and space the floor much more than we used too way too much work on defense compared to back then I agree when he says the bulls would lose to the warriors it’s common sense my guy
Well Shaq was a big part of Kobe's success in his career when he played with LBJ he was mostly kind of useless..LBJ with a young dominant Shaq cud have probably done the same..I wont disrespect Kobe by saying they wud win more cause it clearly doesn't get bette than Kobe given that only two ppl ppl argue against him
lmao i do the same, just seeing shaqs reaction brings a smile to my face every time. he is so confused on how anybody could say that stuff with a strait face and mean it.
He aint lying…..they purposely made the game less physical so the international guys can come in and make an immediate impact like Doncic vs it taking 2 to 3 years like Dirk, Peja, etc
Actually his argument is a defendable one. The Bulls never played a team as strong as Golden State. I don't agree that Lebron is better, but it's a credible position.
Shaq totally right about the era question. Context is everything... in the cupcake era, the warriors MIGHT be able to neutralise the Bulls but in the men's era, no way the warriors are going to be able to sustain the physicality, the hand checking from the juggernaut that the Bulls were. No question!

I disliked and the facts that Hollins trying to bring up that Mj hasn’t faced the warriors is so dumb. Sorry he played before our era??? ZERO game 7s is insane on top of being undefeated when it mattered the most
I think we can safely trust Shaq's opinion, an NBA Legend, who played with/and/or against all three players over some dude who averaged 2 points per game.
Rodman shut prime Shaq down. He would be on KD making his life miserable. Dude was 6’7 210lbs so he wasn’t a big slow guy. He would smother KD. That leaves Scottie who I’d put on Curry and have Jordan on Klay. Warriors could dominate the soft era, but not the 96 Bulls. That squad goes 82-0 with these rules. Jordan takes 30 FTs a game alone to average 50ppg.
Crazy how Shaq, who played with Lebron and Kobe and played against MJ says MJ is the best ever but this dude is acting like Shaq don’t know what he’s talking about trying to tell him Lebron is better than both.
Buddy Guyerson..... lol, how is he biased? Kobe is better than Lebron!!! And, it’s not even a debate MJ is the goat! Lebron will NEVER be the goat! Lebron would have to win this year and next to be as good or better than Kobe!!
HE NEVER HAD ANY!! I think he purposely says things like this to get attention and stay relevant because he knows if he just says actual FACTS he is just another voice in the crowd!! 🤷♂️🤷♂️
I just got back from watching a FULL Bulls game from the 1993 finals. Sometimes Lebron fans convince me that maybe it's close, but then I watch Jordan, and Jordan is on another stratosphere than Lebron. It's not even close. If you don't understand yet, actually go back and watch full Bulls games in the finals. No one was near his level. You'll get it.
Thats the problem with these kids, they dont watch whole games, too busy ordering GrubHub or playing on twitter. They watch highlights, thats it, thats how they determine who is great. Also they love numbers. Eye test does not exist for them.
I lived it. In 93' I was 7 years old. I remember 4 out of 6 of the games in that finals. I vividly remember Jordan as a young child at his peak, from 91'-93. It's not even close, and it never will be.
This guy needs to remember that the piston’s head coach had a rule that whenever jordan is driving in the paint knock jordan down he dont care whatever happen just dont make jordan go inside the paint but still scored 30+pts lol then he’s telling that curry or klay can play in both era lol

People don’t realize MJ adapted to the game in the off-season. Even in today’s aggressive 3 point rundown, MJ would do everything he could to make sure he stayed the best. I agree with shaq that if all three players today played against MJ in his prime, they wouldn’t stand a chance. No matter if Jordan was double teamed or not. Jordan would dunk or score on anyone despite the odds. Whether it was 1 on 1 to 3 on 1. He’d find his clearance and patience and wait for the right moment to execute
@@frankcastle9691 yes but michael would just fade over the 2 of them and hit those shots consistently. only kobe bryant would ever do acts like that consistently after michael's career was over. lebron could probably hit shots like those too but he doesn't attempt them almost at all so i guess we would never know.

As great as Jordan’s actual career was, if you change things up and put him in a different hypothetical situation, then he’s going to figure out a way to beat you in the new hypothetical situation. Throughout his career, he evolved his game to be whatever he needed to be. If Jordan played in a 3 point era, you best believe he would spend an off-season becoming one of the most elite 3 point shooters in the league. Not to mention that nobody could stop him from taking to the hole in an era when the defense can’t touch him.

I totally agree that the new era of basketball is something. However, the era of MJ shaped the game you know now. Also, if you will compare the game now vs. the game back then, it was a lot harder back then because there were few rules that protect the player. You gotta play tougher back then,
And MJ? Every game that he had, had exceptional highlights. Come on now.. Some players nowadays just manipulate their stats, back then winning was first priority and everything follows.
Agreed dude Steph would've never got a shot off back then without these cupcake rules nowadays.
let me know when MJ averaged a triple double in the finals, nope he didn't.
LeBron who!!! Mj is the goat after him the rest got to get there kobe is next
I've tried watching MJ highlights and they're honestly not entertaining at all, open mid-range shots and open threes. Then, obviously have to admit his flashy dunks were at least impressive, but overall not really impressed. I still do have him has #2 all time though because the numbers speak for themselves.

I do agree with Shaq that MJ is better than Lebron
But I disagree with Shaq that MJ's Bulls can beat GSW with KD. It's a lie
Allen Reynolds No they would not.
How can hollins say this when he averaged 3.7 ppg
Pride is nothing when you're earning dollar bags
If you didn't average at least 20 pts hell 10 pts a game through your career you dont need to be a NBA analysts. Shaq should of smacked his face off for disrespecting the goat and Kobe like that.

(The Bulls did)
4. Teams come up with rules just for you (pistons had the Jorden Rule. Other teams would rather lose to the bulls team and not have MJ be the one to beat them)
5. Don't do any fake flops (MJ NEVER)LJ did alot
6. Getting double, triple, quadruple teamed and still making the basket
7. Only reason to not play a game is if it was an injury/surgery. Which MJ missed 6 weeks from broken foot 1985 and he missed one game in Bulls’ sixth preseason contest in 1997-98 ingrown toenails
8. You changed the way the game was played.
Shaquille is the ONLY person opinion that matters:

2. Won with Kobe
3. Teammates with Prime Bron
