Kareem scored 38000 points throwing sky hooks from where thr three point line used to be at a time when there are no three pointer. If there was he would have set a record that was completely unbreakable. No debate. Secondly a fuy known simply as 'The Dream' who Shaq admitted always ran circles around him no matter how hard he hit him or fouled him show be on the mountain before him. This isn't a physical NBA. Its a marketing NBA. Sure Jordan got all the calls in his era as did Magic and Bird in theirs. At some point we have to stop calling it basketball compared to the rules the rest of the world is playing by.

LeBron at 40 years old still has a better trueshooting shooting percentage than Jordan and despite the fact that that was Jordan's strength ... add to that all the rebounds and assists that Jordan made in his entire 15 year career, LeBron surpassed him in just 11 seasons!!......... LeBron doesn't need the frustrated and haters to call him Goat ..... why? if at the end of the day he is already superior to the JordanGoat in those performances!!... it is irrelevant that the JordanZombies call Jordan the GOAT... they can call him whatever makes them feel better!!

It's funny how everyone talks about the warriors team being the best to the benefit of Lebron, yet, they keep on disrespecting Steph, the cornerstone of the teams' offense. Without him, their offense doesn't work. To be honest, if you added a Jaylen brown or Brandon Ingram type of player to the 73-win warriors, they still win one or all two titles. And that's not to disrespect KD, but that highlights just how good the GSW team was.

Shaq (3 rings in LA), Kobe (5), Magic (5), Kareem (5). There isn't space for Wilt or Jerry, for LBJ to play himself on there he has to 4 peat, a 3 peat would start the debate, the 4peat gets Shaq's spot.... so good luck with that.

@Clay Johnson #1 Don't speak for other people's comments, I was responding to the original comment and pointing out that basing it on rings is not the way to go I literally said that so your reading comprehension is subpar at best.
#2 Calling someone a dummy when you clearly don't understand context is bush-league.
#3 You are putting an arbitrary qualification about being in the hall of fame just as they are putting an arbitrary qualification of rings.
#4 It is completely subjective and debatable and everyone can have their own list.. There is more to being on Mt. Rushmore than either of those qualifications so Jerry West, Kareem, Magic and Kobe are mine...doesn't make me more correct or not.

Alonzo Morning, Mutumbo, Yao Ming, Duncan, Ben Wallace, Amar'e Stoudemire, Dwight Howard in his prime, Jamaine ONeal, Garnett, even Chris Webber held his own when he played center. Centers back then was stacked with real Centers that played physical. Now maybe 2 or 3 that can be consider tough. Medium fish in a small pond while Shaq was a fucking orca in an aquarium going insane while surrounded by sharks and dolphins, he was still the apex predator while surrounded by other predators. Lebron and Shaq against each other in their prime and Shaq would be sending Lebron to the emergency room, every game. Shaq was outright terrifying to play against, and he helped make the Lakers who they are and along with Kobe is the most dominant Laker of his era, and one of two most dominant in his era, an era that made the current one look like a pillow.

The biggest problem I have with these What If scenarios is that how biased people tend to be towards whatever player/team they think is better. Like a Wilt vs Shaq situation… whoever you got down as the better player is fine. Just don’t act like they’re monstrously better and like that’s obvious. It’s close! They’re both dominant superstar big men. They could both score points on one another and they could both block each other. It’s fine to have a preference but it’s not like one of those guys is going to beat the other guy 100-0. It’s more than likely going to be competitive and go the distance.

Jordan in his prime vs Lebron in his prime going to 15. Jordan wins all day. The score would be 15 - 5.
You don't understand how great MJ really was. The work ethic and absolute murder mentality of anyone that stood in his way. He absolutely would not not until he pulverized the competition to atoms. If he played LeBron in his heat prime. He would absolutely cook LeBron alive.
