Finally the actual camber adjustments shown in the video, and this video is 11 YEARS OLD! Great video and I hope you see that this comment shows this video still helps people! Thank you!
Thanks for showing how to install your camber adjusters, it really helps ensure less screw-ups. Now,...... go bitch slap the guy who thought making a video in 240p was a good idea!!!
Nice provided the wheel is straight and not pot hole bent. Car must be level side to side or you are just measuring an out of level car. (Measure height of car before lifting; then return to same height before adjusting camber.)
No comment but I have a question. Had my 2008 impala aligned after purchasing new tires the car had camber bolts by previous owner. Here is my question, does the camber always need adjusting? The alignment tech said no because the camber wasn't showing in the red after the alignment was done..
@kaleAe92 only if you'r looking for minimum change in camber. for more extreme hella flush style you need new struts baggs coilovers etc. depending on your budget and taste
skip the first part tightening the nuts go immediately to last part I think alignment must be wheel on ground. now he had to do it twice.torqueing is good when the threads are clean.he made them dirty first time. goedendag
depending how much of a drop the springs gave you sum cars gain negative camber when lowered but again thats all to your taste. but for a few degrees more yeah these bolts will help my SPC ones ran me about 20 bucks with shipping and all
humm curious how this special cam bolt on the top struts is moving the wheel cylinder/rotor components out or in from the original upper strut mounting bolt , and where is the toe out /in setting is for the rear is it part of one of those lateral link arms in the back ( i though the lateral link adjustment bolts would be for camber instead of toe in ) Not sure still a little confused about the rear wheel adjustment in different types of vehicles.
1. how much negative camber is possible to get from these? 2. what would happen if i put one on the top bolt and one on the bottom bolt facing opposite directions would i get double the camber angle?
i just installed struts and now on the passenger side I think the spring is rubbing the tire, i haven't done a alignment yet on vehicle. the drive side seems higher then the passenger side... could an alignment really fix my problem? i had really bad struts before the new installation...
i'm just putting lowering springs on my car, coilovers are too much, can i just lower it, then use these bolts so get the hella flush loook? im not trying to put too much negative camber either
When u DISassembled bolt, u pulled left frm right. When u INstalled new camber bolt, u pushed right to left. Another words u reversed install. AM I WRONG?
I'm trying to look for Camber bolt torque specs and Im not able to find. If anyone knows can u please let me know thanks Nissan murano sl 3.5L 2003 fwd and need for rear dead axle.
In 3 minutes I can have the camber bare for adjustment. If knowing what to do this job, like any other one I've done, takes no time to do. Hardest part is rusty bolts.
most of the mechanics i run into seems to not even know what camber is... i ask them to adjust my camber and they just say "huh?" 😂 i see im gonna have to do it myself, dumbasses smh... how does a mechanic own a freaking alignment machine and dont even kno what to look for doing a wheel alignment smh
Hello there. This happens also here In Europe,Finland,Juva. So it is not inbreeding to claim? Local major car shop claims there is 300€ job to be done. They would not touch the chamber bolts because there is "something wrong". Bolts are too tight supervisor says. Is not that the reason in the first place why I take the car to their shop? They are supposed to dare touch those bolts?! I almost dropped right there on that lousy shops lousy counter...somehow manged out though... Obviously there was nothing to loose so we just opened those bolts and gravity did rest of the job. Chamber was immediately dropped to perfect. There must be some nice bump on leveled ground where you can check the result with plain eye.And of course the car is totally easier to drive.
@@boostjunkie2320 no, the mechanic is still the idiot. For if a mechanic is to make money by fixing cars, playing stupid when someone offers you work is bad business. The dumbass mechanic could of had a paycheck, as the purpose of a job in the first place. Hardly see the customer a fool but the latter.

Anything over 240 will melt your face and your camber bolts. You have been warned.
Thank you for explaining it so well ❤
Great video! Really helps understand how the camber bolts work!

Would this be the same procedure for a 2005 honda pilot? Too much negative camber to one rear wheel.

Like because you did it on an 8th gen corolla, the exact same car I doing this on haha
thank you for you time , got your self a follower !!!!
My old stratus only has one strut bolt so the cam bolt is useless. Is there another way
1. how much negative camber is possible to get from these?
2. what would happen if i put one on the top bolt and one on the bottom bolt facing opposite directions would i get double the camber angle?

lovepeacenotwar1982 if your tires are scrubbing you need wheel spacers but an alignment will only help if the shop does camber adjustments.
yeah i just found out ford put out something on these the windstars and the spacers....
07 corolla..how many camber bolt do the front have? 4? 2 on each side or 2 ? 1 on each side? thx

In 3 minutes I can have the camber bare for adjustment. If knowing what to do this job, like any other one I've done, takes no time to do. Hardest part is rusty bolts.

Its not that they dont know how....They probably just assume like most people who want to adjust the camber that you are a dumb ass
