I like this mower the best of all the toros we've destroyed. I take care of a 12 acre civil war era cemetery with raised graves. The Batmobile Super recycler blew an engine at 1.5 years. If the pull rope is off the handle, it starts easier, & frees up the bag removal.
My first Toro served me over two decades. This year,2024, I purchased the Toro Recycler, it has the folding handle and easy storage feature. Not only easy to store, but easy to sharpen the blade without removing the blade. It takes up less space when in easy store position. I can mulch grass up to 4” if the grass is dry, and virtually no clumps caught in the underhousing, or on the lawn. Starts on the first pull. I love my Toro Recycler Easy Storage Mower.

Will (Toro part number 144-6377 traction assist handle kit) (for new Toro Time Master mowers) fit on new Toro AWD 21472 mower? Both have same mounting holes and shape.

@@Astonsellers22 it looks like you have the FWD version. I had RWD and had some issues with wheels splitting. It always started on the first pull and ran great. If someone had a smaller yard it’s a great mower.

I bought a Honda HRC commercial for my yard so far I love it. Before I had a toro time master for 2 weeks and the last day I had it took me 20 pulls to start. Same price different quality. Highly recommend Honda, however I may have had a dud. Nothing wrong with a toro though

Folks you're going to regret getting this mower. Go and read all the reviews. This mower is trash. I hate mine with a passion. Constant and i mean constant clumps of grass getting caught up under the Deck. I spend more time cleaning the grass from underneath the deck than i do mowing. It creates a swamp of slushy grass underneath it every time i mow. This thing is not a true recycler. Even bagging the rear part gets jammed with grass and won't go all the way back in the bag. Thousands of reviews of folks having this exact same issue. You'll need to mow damn near daily or every 2 days to prevent this from happening. Don't take my word for it, read all of the reviews every about this issue regarding all of the toro mowers. They all do this. Even the $1600 time master. Toro sucks big time in the mower department.
The most lousy lawnmower our family has ever purchased. Got a Toro Recycler in 2010 and have had nothing but problems, even after checking the filter, checking and replacing the oil, changing the blade. All it did was bog down and stall and leave clumps of grass. It guzzled gas like no tomorrow and blew the exhaust in the face of the person using the mower. Lousy engineering. Poor quality. It would not cut through tall wet grass without stalling and both of our craftsman mowers could do that no problem whatsoever.😂
I live in Australia and my grass not a thick as it would be over there but any how I don’t have a problem with this mower and my cheap victa does the same job as well both good mowers but they both have there goods and bads

I got the front wheel drive version. First cut today. It performed nicely. I mulched it.

How do I adjust to cut the grass at 4”
In the manual that you got with the mower should have the hight setting and the you just adjust them on all four wheels on the mower.👍

I kept having wheels fall off mine. In all honesty, it cut fine, ran well, but it just fell apart at two years. I own a Honda now.
