Now I've got a Bad Boy and a Country Clipper and so far the bad boy needed an engine at 2,300 hrs (Kohler🤦) and the CC is still going on original everything at 1,900 Kawasaki.

From another perspective…there is nothing to be angry about here. Im proud to live in a free country with a free market. If you don’t want/need a machine like this, you don’t have to buy one. The design, engineering, testing and construction cost of this machine is massive and it doesn’t exist without an incentive. If the price is too high, no one will buy any. If sales are good, competitors will enter the market and compete, driving price down. Thank you Toro for stepping up and giving those who value their time, above all, a really cool solution.

Everybody talking about price of everything i seen one or two trying to justify the manufacturer pricing . Do not be decieved just like the auto industry and everything else it is not labor or material cost that set prices . Prices are set solely by whatever the market will stand . Thats it . Here is an example two dodge truck s with identical build sheets one built in saltillo mexico the other st louis Missouri they both end up on the same dealers lot in say somewhere in florida , which truck is going to cost the most ? They cost the same other than maybe a slight difference in destiation charge . They dont care how much they have in it its just how much can they get someone to pay

Just because it doesn’t make sense in your situation doesn’t mean it doesn’t make sense for others. National sales numbers don’t lie, people need it. If competitor could build something like it for less they would.

You are talking MSRP, this mower is worth 8 fleet points, most buyers are going to be buying at fleet price which is ~ $70k

Various types of wide area mowers have been around for a long time. Schools, parks depts., and golf courses are the usual applications.

just buy a tractor for that price. That thing should NOT cost that much. More expensive than a beet harvester......

Meh. Hustler is a better mower and cheaper. Slightly less cutting width, but makes up for it by better a way better built machine. Toro is late to the batwing game.

@outdoorsdaily2576 if I left grass laying like I saw in the video, I would be out of business. Grass did not scatter well behind that machine. Sorry you disagree, but watch the video and the grass coming out the back.
