I can't believe we are doing the same thing again in 2024. How disgraceful this country has become to come close to losing everything.

As an American immigrant it bothers me that Americans are not in the streets protesting this. I grew up in a dictatoship for half my life and if this is what Americans want I feel sorry for you.
Scariest time in my lifetime, hands down. & I was born in the 60's. Greed has taken over our country at unprecedented levels!

Over ten years ago I never would have thought I might live to see the end of American Democracy, but it seems to be a frighteningly realistic concept recently. Before Trump, I never wanted to register or identify with a single political party - but now I don't think I can ever consider voting GOP, which leaves Dems as my only real option unless the voting system changes to allow more than 2 parties without splitting the vote.
