- Dropping in from Pine Mountain Campground. We point our road bikes down Pine Mtn Ridge Rd and hook a right towards the desert on the 33.
Data from Taylor putting out way too many watts for a descent as he punches a hole through the headwind for us.

I always look forward to your videos man, quality is consistently unmatched
Imagine living off grid in that forest and waking up to that view every day
A while back I left a comment on this channel when I was living in LA and said that I was inspired to get into cycling because of your content. Well fast forward almost 2 years and I've done it! The only bummer now is that all those roads that I was looking forward to riding in California are now on the other side of the country but I can't wait to take a trip and attempt all the climbs and descents that inspired me to want to ride in the first place! Thanks for the content!!
That's great to hear! The roads will be here waiting for you 🙂
What in the H. That road is so amazing, and sketchy. Love it once again Safa!
i love watching these videos. im soooo envious of you guys ,im from scotland and your roads seem so much quieter
with butter smooth surfaces and the weather, jesus, i would give up beer and football if we could just get a few days
like that lol.
the 33 is absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for sharing the video. Badass!
Back in the 70s and 80s there was a charity ride that ran intermittently from Ventura up 33 through Ojai over Pine Mountain then turned east after the ozena station through Lockwood Valley and finished on top of Mount Pinos
it’s fun to see you guys finding these routes
That's an insane ride. 100 miles and 14000 feet+? How long did that take?
My best time was six hours and 17 minutes the winner that day was an hour or so faster than me
Wow, what a beautiful location above the clouds 🤩
Thanks!
Appreciate it!
One awesome ride Safa! Keep up the good work!
Another amazing and brilliant video. Thanks so much Safa and Taylor. You're both monsters in a nice way. So scary at times especially along the narrow first chunk. ❤️❤️
Rim brake squad 💪
#savetherimbrake
The gravel on the road had me tense the entire time. You’re just a rock or earth on the road at a corner away from slipping out.
Fighting against powerfull windd on the road I remember you descend these hills. You inspire me to run man!
🇬🇧Great Riding Brian and Taylor 🤘😎🤘
Hey Brian, you may want to check out sunrise highway in SD county, it has new surface and it’s smooth and fast, cheers
I’ve been thinking about doing Pine Mountain road for awhile now. I think I’ll still wait until fall when it’s a bit cooler but this video makes me even more excited to climb this road
I've had my eye on this one for a while now! Definitely need to hit it!
As a rider myself, This is freedom.
In love with that after 5 seconds
He's really taking it easy in the curves
“RIM BRAKES!” 🤙
Really dream road, thx for video))
Another great vid. I like the heart rate
A bit scary, sand and stones in stems but beautiful !👍
Those indents in the road at 11:46 are a freaking hazard
1:44 you gotta get back over that wall on a mountain bike
Very good mané.
The joy of it.
Beautiful!
What’s up Brian you and your friend the best to desent is incredible you has to look go to tour of France 🇫🇷 to compite with pogacar
O yeah dude!
rim brakes sound nice
Good Ride bro 👍👍👍
F'n sick bro!
Nice 🙂👍👍
Where are the cars? I don't think i saw any bar a parked one.
It’s very remote and the 33 is already a very quiet highway
Hey could you share how you set up your chest strap? Every time I use the GoPro chest strap with my GoPro Hero 9, I can't even close to the same angle as you.
Are you using a go pro with a chest mount for this video?? What are you filming with
You have nerves of steel that's all I can say.
wicked!
...SiCk💪🏽💪🏽🕸️🕸️
What are you guys to communicate yourselfs without any headsets or cellphones ? Or how can you record your conversations like that ???
That dirt & gravel at those speeds would have me clenching my buttcheeks for sure!
Gonna need a new set of brake pads after that
What is -8% -5% showing in the left lower corner of screen ?
Watching from philippines......hope you make a junior cyling team...please take me..
🚴🚴👏👏👏
Do you have the route on Strava or Komoot? Amazing ride!!
He has the strava of this ride linked in the description. You can create a route off of that if you'd like to
@@shipwreck246...thanks

Who else is watching his hairy forearm and biceps
Is that a private road ? No cars at all !
Not private, it’s just a remote road that comes off a highway that is already pretty empty and goes nowhere except a small campsite at the top of a mountain
@@quarkonium3795 Oh okay ! Dream road !
Make up for dropping him 🤣
Second
Disc brakes feel much more safer than ring brakes does , personally!when down the hills 🥹🤔🫣🚴♀️
could have been a better video if not for those noisy hubs
first :D
it has everything , dips , jumps , twist , turns and rocks ...yikes !
