Cycling like this, down a mountain, must be one of the most amazing feelings.
We had the same fog in 2003. I still recall the noise of nearby cowbells from invisible cows. We climbed this route. I vividly recall the corner at 5:55, and even the song that was in my head. It's still etched in my memory. Loved the Pyrenees. Thanks for sharing
Thank you for sharing. Great memories!
I´m shitting myself just watching. Great filming, great riding skill! Love it.
Wow that mini map on top right is so cool
The fog adds another level to the beauty in this one on top of skills I'm sure took years to develop. Another epic upload 🤙🏿
"love" and digg u for ages now^^ so i always think about the people climbing up on their bikes and you crossing their way, what they'd say if they knew THE damn bikesports-pushing and skilled legend just bombed downhill next to them. Please, stay humble, but also embrace the fact, that you've accomplished alot, in a very natural and authentic, passionate way. Love it, thanks and keep going
Finally you upload the Aubisque descent ! It means a lot to me. You are the main reason I started yt cycling videos. Now living in the Alps but grew up at the footstep of the Aubisque it is so cool to see you blasting down here ❤ such a shame you had this typical pyrenean fog cause it's so beautiful. Cheers Safa, waiting for you around Annecy !
Finally! Thanks for the message, glad we got to ride your home roads. What a place!
Brilliant riding and good positioning Safa!
My heart raced watching you. you got ball's man. Mad respect....
Lovely Aubisque - Laruns, thanks Safa and Taylor! Narrow roads make up for great climbing, but descending is always pretty sketchy
This was the most nerve shredding! Amazing skill.
you just changed my life.
thankyou.
I love it up there. Went up once and freezing hail set in. Me and some basque geezer were let into the cafe by builders and got warmed up. Too cold ti descend without stopping to warm hands, on a donkey on one occaision. Got to the valley and it was lovely and warm, ended up sunburnt that day!
The guy pedals backwards to lift internal leg while cornering (at 4:14 for example). I used to do the same, but it is a bad habit because if you shift before that the chain can be jammed in a drivetrain. Got this happen a couple times and now I tried to pedal this half a turn forward
Can this cause you to slide out?
We rode the Aubisque one month ago. Luckily we had perfect weather. Nice Video. Greetings from Austria.
I love it when you pedal hard as hell and just pass people like its nothing. 😂
Bringing back awesome memories from my Pyrenees crossing a month ago ! Thanks Safa!
Glad to see you made it safely, the vibration was worrying me.
Nice descent! I was amazed there were so many other cyclists. When you pass you use english (left), I think I would use French and maybe even Spanish as well.
Rode this about 8 years ago...going up the Aubisque. Nice to see it going downhill, and seeing some of the spots that my memory holds where I would say "how much left in this climb?"
im inspired, this is definitley going on my bucket list!
Очень красивый атмосферный выпуск, спасибо Safa :)
Your chest camera footage is always good. Great descent!
when you think things couldn't get better we get 3d map in right upper corner
Never in my life I could attemp this. Koodos!
How splendid a world devoid of motorcars must be, wouldn't you agree?
Until it storms or you get a mechanical you can't fix...
Wouldn't have any of these roads though
trust me they say the same about cyclists too
@@anon7684then you get on the bus or the train
@@joannaszulc1496 won't work if you're in a rural area. Also many cities around the world don't have that infrastructure
As usual, sweaty palms whislt watching. Wow.
Any chance you could share your gopro settings ? Love the cinematic feel of your videos. Post process also ?
All the best.
Very impressive descending skills.
Now I see why this bike are so much money there really meant for speed
Efficiency holding 30+ and maintaining it
Y’all really have a lot of bike time
Must be a dream those roads
LOL, you passed a motorcycle 😂
Great ride and joyful speeds!
Keeping it nice and safe on the damp. Lovely decent lads.
just why i moved to the moutains I love this shit great work
dangerous road in fog with turns and no guardrails. But for extreme sports fans it’s not scary, but it’s great
20 minutes of pure relaxation.
would never have gone down there without proper lights in this fog. The cars just don't see you
ride safe guys
$200 bike lamps for visibility??? NAHHHH!!!
$20K on bikes??? YEAHHHHH!!!
Dude, there is no visibility in the fog. Lights are almost useless.
@@Daslerus ....dude - it's not about illumination for you own benefit...it's about getting seen earlier by other road users....always have lights whatever the weather and visibility - it's a no brainer.
@@blaze1148 Agreed.
Guarantee those bikes were provided by Scott, or else heavily discounted
@@Daslerus
You’re too small minded to understand that lamps are used for visibility as well as for illuminating your way.
Nice ride, but in such a bad conditions you could put some lights on bikes guys
11:08 - bruh lol
Really love this channel…..maybe look up how to say on your left in French 😂
Awesome descent and chef’s kiss camera angles! What tire width was that?
28mm
@@SAFABrian Aha, thanks!
Brian have you ever done Mt Lemon in Tucson, AZ? I tried the climb in 2021 but then bailed half way through as I totally bonked. Later that day tested positive for Covid.
👑Great safa👑
Madness
I love it❤
Awesome!
🤙🤙 Watching From The UK 🇬🇧
As always, so friggin mesmerizing! Thanx, guys!
Super!
I'm wondering exactly where you placed the camera. Also do you use a separate anti-vibration for the camera? I looked at the set part in the description, but I couldn't understand exactly which set you used on which ride. I really like how you ride in this exact position and I want to know the angle you use. is this a head mount? chest mount?
Hi Safa, great video! Would it be possible for you to share your overlay patterns? I would love to use them in Telemetry Overlay!
There's a link in the description!
I wonder what the motorcyclist feel when a bike overtakes them
damn cars holding up the cyclists :D
The power of road bicycle and skills.
Great video! What tool is used to add telemetry overlays?
terrifying if you havent memorized it. vruh!
Where I live motorists hate cyclists so much. They even purposely hit and run too. As a beginner cyclist I never understood why they hate us so much until I see your video. Thank you for your video.
why
100% AGREE. Scott bikes should stop sponsoring this bs
@@cursedrr8647 Yes, also it appears to me that these gentlemen lives with a “YOLO” attitude. It’s great to see that. But these cyclists should also think about vehicle drivers also. Maybe he/she doesn’t live a YOLO attitude. Maybe he/she has a kid and a family to feed. If one of the cyclist met with accident they would immediately put the car driver also in jail. He/she doesn’t deserve it.
ripping!
Hey Brian, how do you apply pressure with your hands when you’re descending? Do you push down on the inside and pull up on the outside, vice versa, or not at all?
I want to see how they come back the same way 😬
Did the dog at the start manage to upload his ride to strava?
Awsome
So the stats you show, do you get that from.the Garmin screencapture option?
my ears pregnant 😍
I clip in with my left too.
@SAFABrian what kind of action cam are you using?
I wonder which tire you use for these high speed cornering turns, could you please give information
Absolutely unsafe and irresponsible to ride in these conditions ... and passing other vehicles too
Gros rageux
Old man yells at clouds…..
i think the same😅
hello boss , you are filming this with a go pro 7? thank you
How this video was done? With what programs?
...did I hear _"keep it safe"_ 😮😆
SAFA... Safety And First Aid
👍👍
tres bon
Дух захватывает!
What GPS System is that (on the gentleman that is filming)?
This is a cyclists dream!!!
Good cyclingskills, poor trafficinsights/responsibility.
Ego and cycling can be a fatal combination.
where do you have your camra mouted for this angle?
Brake:
-Fuck
-Fuck
-Fuck
No lights in conditions like this ?
Left in French is "gauche."
AWESOME
Which program you insert telemetry into videos with??, Garmin's doesn't work with Microsoft Edge
Check the descritpion
@@SAFABrian Thanks!!!!
I honestly like watching the videos but on the other hand i have to say that i find safa's driving in many of the videos just plain stupid. it would be a nice video without all the traffic offences.
Are these e-bikes?
well done
Tell me, what is the name of this game?
Not cool going 60kph in a 30 zone...
It's a bicycle. Not a metal box of 2 tonnage.
@@gielvh doesnt matter, still can do insane damage and could be fatal, road signs are there for a reason
Uh oh Reddit is here 😂
Les limitations de vitesse ne sont pas applicables aux cyclistes et pour certains nous n'avons pas toujours de compteur de vitesse
Speak for yourself, comment is trash
Господи, как можно ехать в таком тумане? ...отчаянные люди!
i wouldve died like thirty times
real
My dream is to descend like you one day (I'm 14)
donde es esta ruta ??
All it takes is one mistake
like anything else in life do it long enough and gain and understanding of your limits. mistakes can happen at any level. for most this level seems extreme. but for them who do it daily and know the bike and roads this is pretty normal. even i have local descents i can ride no brakes unless required. descents i dont know im going pretty casual.
👏👏👍👍
1 wrong move and you are dead
I was surprised how many people were climbing this on bikes 🙂.
The Tour de France was coming through later on that day, a lot of cyclists around.
First Like is mine
at times very unsafe overtaking and unresponible. otherwise great video
looks fun but yeahhh not with cars
I feel jealous for these bikers.....what a beauty to ride like this....wats the point of having money....job....n end ur life like shits....this s enjoyment n living ur life....❤❤❤❤
