Wow, I am amazed by the breathtaking views captured in this video! The natural beauty is simply stunning and truly awe-inspiring. The vibrant colors of the landscape, the crystal-clear waters, and the majestic mountains all come together to create a scene that is truly unforgettable. I can only imagine how incredible it must have been to witness these sights in person. It is clear that the creators of this video have a great eye for capturing the beauty of Switzerland. This video is a testament to the incredible natural wonders that can be found in this country, and it reminds us of the importance of preserving these precious resources for future generations to enjoy.
Yeah. Too bad that his eyes are most of the time on Garmin, or what device is he using for recording, s-o the watts are there. Numbers are more important.
@@SAFABrian May I ask about your setup? How do you film and how many teeth does your chainring have, that you keep pushing beyond 60 Km/h? I drove St.Gottardo in October last year in the other direction and also hit 90km/h according to GPS, but without pedaling anymore... :D
The channel rocks. This video shows the sheer beauty of Switzerland. Road look smooth, the sky was clear, and the green color from the trees were memorizing to look at. You have a great camera crew that take professional quality video. Keep up the hard work.
This is probably the gold standard of high speed descending. We are looking at history in the making, and very few people will top this level. Salud Safa & Taylor.
Swiss infrastructure has a surreal quality to it sometimes. Blasting down this wide open descent, free of semi trucks and potholes. This migt be my favourite swiss descent yove done, since it reminds me of the mountains here in Canada. Most of our descents don’t require brakes at all, since the roads are built for 100+kph! Sometimes it’s nice to get into a tuck and watch those miles fly by.
It seems like their architecture does a better job of integrating into their environment. Some of those bridges were just coming straight out of the rock
Besides the usual landscape, speed, precision and awesomeness, around 6:20 I see Safa’s power meter is not showing data, I am so thankful and glad for that as I always think I have a problem with my devices , now I can relate to Safa and just keep pedaling !
Wow! That was a lot different from my St. Gotthard Pass experience! I started in Airolo and climbed the cobblestones to the peak, then after eating lunch with my family, I descended on the old cobblestones to Hospental. I also wanted to do the Furka Pass after lunch, but my family had already patiently waited for me to do St. Gotthard long enough. But I really enjoyed your video. It was a lot different, but it brought back a lot of memories from my trip in 2021.
07:22 - I hope you're aware that the green sign with a white car symbol means "motorway"? If the police had been around, you would have had to pay a pretty high fine and they might have taken you to the police station on top of that. Switzerland is pretty strict about bicycles on motorways.
Well the law says "Only motor vehicles that can and are permitted to reach a speed of at least 80 km/h are permitted on motorways and expressways." But, as we can clearly see, this dude is going over 80 on his vehicle so it's no problem
@@namenlos8140 It's for the cyclist's own protection. Just imagine something happens while being on the motorway, their insurance wouldn't cover for them, it would be a "grobfahrlässige Widerhandlung". I am aware that they matched the minimal speed for a motorway, but they're on two super thin wheels with only a helmet for protection, they are not motorcycles with leather jackets and knee protectors etc.
Niiiice, as always! 😊 this side of Gotthardpass feels like a highway so it’s almost orgasmic to ride it full gas :) Also avoided Tremola by riding on a section where bikes are forbidden, but with this speed only some purist policemen would complain 😂
At these speeds it's not clear that bikes should not take this road but the old route. I've missed this turn also. Anyway, it's no problem because there's hardly any traffic there.
Love your videos! All of them! But let me ask you something... one thing that I always keep an eye on is the speed when you get out of your saddle and sit on the frame... and I always feel that the gain is too marginal for the risk. Don't you feel the same by looking at the metrics after your rides?
I ride. The max speed I recorded was 50.5 mph. Going through that village at 41 mph is reckless. It is the main road and I do not know the speed limit but people live there and they pull in and out of the side streets.
Bike looks real jittery at speed. Headset not quite tight enough maybe? Or grabbing onto those bars a little too tight? Amazing video and what an awesome road
While it is considered illegal to ride bicycles on an "Autostrasse" in Switzerland (green rectangle with car symbol, 7:03), you did a great job at maintaining the mandatory minimum speed for vehicles on such highways! 😂
Nice ride. Try the old road some time, the legendary Tremola.. cobbles, only half as fast but twice as scenic. For this kind of vid the new one is better, though..
Finally a descent I've ridden myself (twice). I didn't remember that tunnel being so long. When I was there last time, I was so cold I could hardly brake. I almost crashed because I drifted to the outside.

checking the map since we've never been down here
Vibrant colors? Where? Crystal clear waters? Where?
I mean the edditing does a lot of work as well :D
Colors aren't like that IRL, evne on a very good day.

12:20 I love the clip through the town. The colors, the lighting, the town, the clock, it's just perfect.
That Speed was Incredible! Insanely Good Views and the Cinematography was Picture Perfect!👌
Great video...
No boring comments, and no lame music.
Just the sweet sound of shifting gears...!

Really really love the stats in the beginning as well as on the left. So clean.
Super tuck wobbles make me wince every time! One rogue pebble or a blow out and it might be off to the clouds for you! Awesome footage as ever though.

DAMN THIS CHANNEL HAS GROWN. I remember when you used to post fixed gear descents in Mexico City!!! holy!!!
Stunning and deliciously entertaining.
Thankyou for your time and persistence in making this.

Your ride sounds pretty amazing too. Cobbles on both sides and lunch with the fam, brilliant!
You went far without a drink...you definitely deserve a cherry slurpee..thanks for the ride. Wunderbar John
You are one brave amazing cyclist. Wow incredible skills.
Most beautiful place in the world Switzerland
Mis respetos para Safa y su equipo, eso si que es tener huevos de acero , saludos desde Los Angeles California.🚴🏼♂️🙋🏻♂️
I cried coming down this decent! Just overwhelmed by the views!
Excellent video. It's hard to imagine going through a dark tunnel at that speed without soiling my chamois. 😂
Great cycling in very beautiful sarounding.

Bike ride at heaven of world. Thx
Bravooooooo, respect from Serbia
Love the view
beautiful!!
You know its fast when 120 cadence produces 3 Watts
Need to 4K footage of this kind of stuff so that we the viewer can really put ourselves there in the action.
Dope dope, thanks!
DUDE- you should have lights on in the tunnel!!!!!
@@BadWithNames123 it's mandatory in Europe to have lights on the bikes.

5 seconds in and you got me subbed. Holy sh*t
I find myself trying to hit the brakes every time a hairpin comes up. 😝

good job bro, for the algorithm
Super le passage à 1:30 dans le noir !
Nice Ride!
applause for the camera person 🙌
Hi, very good stuff. Is it possible to have HR data also on th screen. It would be usefull to see.

enjoying the ride so i don't need to crash and burn at a WHAT 56 MPH?!? great post fam, keep 'em comin'!

Durch den Tunnel ohne Licht! Da habe ich Fragen?
Waw speed man
Why you giving all the stats at the beginning? Best part is to watch the speed for a new high
the Biker is so Fast, but not Stabilized the bike and that's Scares me ! 😅 it's a challenge for that Speed !
Why wearing a helmet if you don't protect the rest with this speed? Nice view! Awesum
are you using a gopro?
Is the cameraman/woman on a bike as well?
Hi Safa, I will be here in afew weeks with bike. Can you give some idea of where you started for these rides, from which town/base etc?
We were based in Innertkirchen. Nothing else to do there but stare at mountains and ride.
@@SAFABrian Awesome thanks mate. Im literally dropping in for 1-2 days just to ride various passes then move on.
How do you show the speed/power on the video?
Which brand is the wheel set?
what kind of bike that? can someone tell me?
Is it allowed to go there uphill too?
speed 100%
