those videos always keep me going through winter time when you are longing to be out on the bike. thank you safa for releasing so much high quality content.
I was hit by a car while riding today and I'm in so much pain that I want to cry. I found this video and it did what all the pain meds I'm on right now couldn't do, make the hurt stop. My bike is in pretty bad shape, but I want to get back in the saddle so bad after watching this. Thank you!
Just an awesome ride! Love the group dynamics - fun, dedicated and courteous to cyclists, motorists and pedestrians. Iz is a machine! hangs tough with the guys, attacks on multiple climbs and lays down the watts! Cool to see a strong girl in the mix with fit guys! Awesome video - enjoyed it, and hope to see more! Stay safe out there and hope you guys (and gal!) keep having fun pushing the limits! God bless you all!
I don’t know why, but all of a sudden YT is tossing me these older long-form Safa videos and I am here for it! Watching these gets me so hype to get back out there and ride!
1 hour! are you kidding me ❤️ What a ride SAFA. I am damn sure u would smoked them on decent but you rather not for filming this epic. I hit 👍🏼 so badly. Keep grinding bud 💪🏼🤘🏻🌹❤️
That was incredible!! Love how wide the roads are, quite nice. My climbing is getting better but the descending is something else. Looked so fun. Dig how friendly the girl is. This inspires me a lot. Having fun and enjoying riding is the key
Late to the party, but I love videos like this. Also, there's two people on rim brakes with carbon rims. I like it! Goes to show you don't need the latest and greatest to be monsters!
SAFA Brian, Izzy and the team, you always have nice rides. You have a good business opportunity: guided rides at these beautiful places for people all over the country that would like ride in California with the ones that know it best.
Man, this was a perfect thing to watch while I sat thru a 90 minute endurance ride on my trainer here in cold, snowy Iowa. I got so caught up in "riding" with you all that I actually hit the brakes and stopped pedaling with you when you got to PCH :D More of these chill long form videos would be welcome.
As a reasonably new cyclist this terrified me lol. Such speed through some tight bends on open roads, whaow my hand a feet are sweating lol. Amazing skill levels
It should terrify you. They were riding very irresponsibly.....not cool. There are very fun fast groups out there that can control their egos too. look at 6:42 and see how that driver had to react to them in their lane.
Love the enthusiasm! I'm was sweating my butt off on my Trainer Road workout while watching. Trying to get in shape for the ALC Ride in June. Good motivation to keep me riding! Thank You!
This is the best biking video ever!!! I felt as if I were in the trenches with you guys!!! I've watched this countless times. It makes me want to go out and kick some ass!! Awesome attitudes and very motivational. I love how the young lady (i dont know names at this point) starts the avalanche of ultimate watt destruction at around the 52 minute mark. Thats what I'm talking about!!! I cant wait to watch more of this groups videos! Keep it up gang! Im loving it!!
Watching this before my first ride in six months. Knowing that the first couple of weeks are going to be nothing but pain. But as some guy once said, "shut up legs!".
It is so great to see the decent from Yorba. I have done it numerous times but never that fast. The posted speed was 35 mph. It seems like it was greater. Super cool video
Yeah, I agree. I was going to post that the metrics on that first descent seem off. They definitely lagged a bit, and as a guy who lives in NorCal, raced and has done quite a bit of descending, to me parts of that seemed WELL over the recorded MPH of mid-30s.
Man, I should have moved out to California 25 years ago when I potentially had the chance! Although would I be right in guessing that the standard of paving on the roads has lately gotten a little better? Any, kudos for producing a really good video to show what a fast-ish group ride with strong cyclists looks like; the sound is particularly well done. And nice job of finding and holding on to a gap in traffic on that terribly busy final descent.
I love riding on road but we don't have amazing roads like this, so I'm left with riding a gravel bike due to terrible road conditions here. Anyway, that just looks so amazing!
Yerba Buena is one hairy twisty road even in my FWD corolla going 30MPH. It has steep drop-offs all along it's length and it is ONE LONG MOTHERING ROAD to the sea also.
How could you tell it was disc brakes? From what I saw, it could have been either the Cervelo, the Factor, or the Pinarello that was making the noise. Two of those have rim brakes Edit: I'm now about 80% confident that it was Isabel King's Factor making the noise so what you're probably hearing is rim brakes (probably not cleaned) on carbon wheels
@@informationtechnologycycli8839 Yeah, but both Joe and Isabel were mic'd up. I assume that the data on the screen corresponds to the audio being heard and when Isabel's data was shown I could hear the noise a lot more clearly
Nice ride. I met Isabell King on the Bike path going into Mill Valley from Sausalito. Tell I was the Tall black guy on the BOB Dogma F10. I ride with Barry.
That corner at 10:02 is deceptively tricky. I went around the swooping corner before without cutting any speed and slammed straight into the cliff face 😢
This was actually very fun to watch back again. A good day. I appreciate the comments saying I’m funny! I am so flattered 😂 🧡⚡️
you carried the whole good vibe atmosphere IMO
what jersey were you wearing here Iz?
they havea cycling shitrs with safa style logo its for sale as well ?
sounds weird to admit but I've watched this like 10 times now, mostly because Im new to cycling and dont have anyone to go riding with yet 😅
patience ;)
This is like netflix or amazon prime for cyclist’s.
1 hour 20 min of pure joy.
😢😊👍🏻
My number one video while Zwifting!! 💪🏾💪🏾
This is like asmr for cyclists. I am in bed, falling asleep watching and listening and it feels sooooo good.
those videos always keep me going through winter time when you are longing to be out on the bike. thank you safa for releasing so much high quality content.
My pleasure. Thanks for the message.
Taking a moment to appreciate Safa’s unparalleled skill of being able to capture a moment (a long one in this case) perfectly
loving the banter on the multiple mics.
everyone in this vid is doing over 5 watts per kilo up the climbs and having a dinner conversation... very motivational
@@ScottMabry-v3k the fuck are you even trying to say
I like how the Lady Wolf said hello to the people they past. Nice to see nice cyclists who are also super skilled. Bravo.
Always so much more enjoyable when the gang gets together, a solo climb that would be an ordeal becomes a blast... Loved this one.

Iz King is simultaneously the beauty and the beast
Awesome! I rode Decker 30 years ago. Now I am riding with you on my stationary bike in the safety of my garage.
One of the best indoor riding videos I have used. Stunning ride, make you ride hard! Awesome work 👏
Climbing Decker looks like one hell of a chore especially that initial climb ! You guys are animals! Loved the video!

Good job.
Isabel Descent Slayer… her lines super clean 🤘🏽 Safa da 🐐
this is absolutely amazing! thank you for doing this! it makes riding at home on my wahoo, infinitely more enjoyable!
Love to hear it!
Love your videos SAFA! You've inspired me to film cycling videos in Singapore :)
I'm in SG too! subbed to you
You guys are blessed with such of great routes, everywhere in Cali. Here in Texas is just a dream.
Try riding in the Boston area; short, steep climbs followed by equally steep descents with cars tailing you. Fun stuff.
I'm in love again. Watching this was more exciting than watching a movie 🙌🥰

Such risk taking on the descent!! Way above my comfort level.
This is just part of a 162km ride. That is absolutely insane!
Extraordinary training route. Splendid views and what an exhilarating descent!
Awesome ride. I had to cancel a riding vacation to the Pacific Coast this year and now I can't wait!
Oh Em Gee Safa, 1 hour and 20 minutes of pure therapeutic pleasure. 🤙
Awesome watch. All the rear hubs and brakes together sound like Tie Fighters going around the corners. 🚀
That uphill is scary! I’m breathing hard watching you guys climb from my couch.
Love when Iz mic’d up.!
Great video. It helped me get through another indoor session in the basement while it was snowing. Ugh. Colorado Springs in the winter !
It would be fantastic if you could do more videos like this. Its the perfect thing for riding indoors in the scottish winter.
The lady Rocks,nice ride.
Someone got some damn squeaky brakes 😁
Those disc brakes

Great video guys and gal. That last descent! Stoked
Solid group of folks… Your videos help remind me to let go of my brakes a bit more and trust my tires.
I admire your free spirits and courage, but all it takes is one bad driver passing a slow vehicle on a blind corner, and your day suddenly turns bad.
This was so much fun to watch. Thanks! Looked like an amazing ride.
Joe just causally chirping the guy in orange 😂 @51:38
What a hoot! Living the SoCal dream one pedal stroke at a time

That data overlay looks great. All the info, but totally unobtrusive. Stay staying safe safa
These roads look sooooo smoooth I'm jealous
that descent was mesmerizing af!
If Safa wasn’t filming, I bet he drops all of them on the descendant
Idk, Taylor is pretty insane on those downhill sections sometimes
Descent
Safa is casually going up and down the group picking lines nobody else sees.
Second nature to hm like me doing the laundry Wednesday nights, he even narrates while carving on a descent.
Agreed. He is riding the brakes for a lot of the video. 👍🏻 Great descender
