- Today's bike has a long story, fortunately with a happy ending. First I retouched the frame by only using spray paint on the scuffed areas, trying to save the lettering and patina. So I got paint, pearl and varnish, masked off the stickers and attempted to improve the look. ughhh...it turned out poorly... After about two years of tip toeing around the messed up frame, I decided to take a small step for humanity but a huge one for me and have started painting frames myself. I picked an interesting ivory with pearl, and fortunately, I did the paint right the very first time. To build the bike EROICA READY and still have lower gears, I chose a set from 80's - Campagnolo Victory. The result wowed me, both in looks and function, and I hope it will wow you too. Dnešní kolo je dlouhej příběh, naštěstí s dobrým koncem. Nejdřív jsem retušoval barvu na rámu sprejem jen na odřených místech, pokoušejíc se zachránit nápisy a patinu. Tak jsem si pořídil barvu, perleť a lak, zamaskoval samolepky a jal se sprejem vylepšovat vzhled rámu. á…dopadlo to prachbídně… Po asi dvou letech obcházení zmršeného rámu jsem se vloni rozhodl udělat malý krok pro lidstvo, ale obrovský pro mě a začal jsem si sám lakovat rámy. Barvu jsem vybral zajímavou slonovou kost s perletí, a kupodivu se povedla hned napoprvé. Chtěl jsem aby kolo odpovídalo požadavkům na Eroica závody a přesto mělo lehčí převody, proto jsem zvolil sadu z 80. let Campagnolo Victory. Výsledek mě nadchl, vzhledem i funkcí a doufám, že nadchne i vás. Good idea on the Campag Victory and Triomphe cranks. I now run one with a 36T small ring ideal for older guys on eroica rides

Como sempre obrigado por compartilhar as reformas, e não sei se comentei agora estou começando uma reforma de uma GT anos 90 mas é MTB e vou transforma-lá em uma para o cicloturismo com um garfo rígido, o quadro dela estou tentando salvar a pintura original com uma lixa fina e uns retoques e o bom de ser preta fosco vou finalizar ela passando uma camada de verniz para ajudar a renova-la, valeu e fica na paz.

2:35 you sure those bearings are the right way? looks like the cage is on the cup side
I'm 100% sure, Campagnolo bearing cages have the opposite design. They are given in this direction. Otherwise the axis would not rotate. Thank you for watching the video.
