5:41 - I always wondered how they did that. No kidding. Thanks for the info.

Very nice all around. Bike, build, and video. I disagree slightly about descending, on my 1985 Raleigh USA 753r I find it more of a rolling terrain bike than a descender. Stable, yes, but the fork does flex more than I would like during braking. Still, a top notch racing frame from a top notch specialist workshop.
What I find most interesting is how the bike responds to power input. Always wanted to try a 753 frame, and it was a big shift from the Miyatas I had ridden before. It requires a mindful pedal stroke (I find pushing a slightly larger gear and a slightly lower cadence is preferred) to reward with a sublime ride. Mashing away can lead to a feeling of fighting the bike and pedaling at odds with the rear. But if you ride the bike consciously and *with* the flex it feels great and is definitely a 'century' frame as you said. Miles of smiles.

@@Primifluous What a great description of how the bike rides😀 I like how you talk about the back end of the bike. And yes it is most definitely a century frame.

My Raleigh has that same paint job but is made of 531c tubing and is made in England. Still a very fun bike.

@@johndef5075 awesome! Yes I made a mistake in the video, saying 753 twice. The works produced the frames in 531 as well. Which I love. Awesome bike you have. I have a 531c Puegeot that I ride all over LA.

@JeffreyWilliams-dr7qe I don't know year but had Shimano 600 8 speed. Not sure if that was stock because I bought it used. I'm guessing it might have been a 6 speed with downtube shifters originally.

Clips often intersperse meaningless images. May Be to cover up the parts that need to be hidden? Without the interludes, this clip is very good and clear.
