Thanks for all this series of flights in Norway on the Dash 8s, they have all been very interesting. I use FR24 regularly to see what is in the airspace above my house, in fact I am tracking the Emirates flight out of Dublin just now. It will soon pass overhead at about 32000 feet but I can hear it when it does, those 777s are rather noisy. Also enjoy the AvTalk podcast that you do. 👏👍
I was on this flight once when an older German passenger decided to go to the bathroom after take-off. They almost aborted the landing and he was seated seconds before touchdown :)

What is it that make the sound of the engine/propeller change at 0:20, I grew up nearby Kastrup Airport, and I just love thát sound....???
Propeller pitch, basically the angle of the propeller changes making that sound.
This is from a change in propeller blade “pitch”, or angle, which is adjusted by the pilots. You can also hear those variations in sound very noticeably when they adjust the pitch shortly before landing.

@@easer777 basically in layman's terms, it's when the propeller seems to be flat when looked at from the front, so that it can "bite" more air to pull the aircraft forward. Hope that kinda crudely explains it.

No, pitch trim is used to remove the force the pilot otherwise would have needed to push or pull the control column to maintain a certain pitch or speed. At take-off, the aircraft is trimmed to fly at V2 (take-off safety speed), which is used in case of an engine failure. As the aircraft climbs, the speed is increased, and the flaps is retracted. Both actions change the pitch force, and the pilot used the pitch trim to remove the force on the control column.
10 minutes flight time. 2 1/2 hours by car.
59 seconds from touchdown to engine shutdown. I have seen slower.
