      @@casanovafrankenstein8875 I wondered about DL as well, Im sure elite knows what sells and what the average is but.... Im 50 years old and 6'3" in my teens it was impossible to get gear that fit me... now its no problem at all, I see 15 year old kids that are eye to eye with me. short ATA I get here thats all they ever stock in my area so I assume thats what the majority want or even know about... but DL just looking around the archery club and I see several people at 6 foot if not over. also wonder if making a long riser out of carbon stiff enough wouldn't present some additional challenges. Im the oddball, I want an ultra light target bow even though once its built it will weigh the same or real close to my current Rezult... just rather have that weight at the ends of the stabs that hanging out doing nothing for me.

    As facinating and exciting as it is, it starts to feel impossible to own a new bow every year. And unnecicary. And to be honest, i am still shooting a 2018 Triax, and is incredibly quiet and accurate, and also... it will "Kheell". So....

    Its a really nice bow.. although, i can't see upgrading to this from my ritual 35. I havent shot a bow that tops the R35. Had a dealer try to sell me the new mathews phase 4. (Was a big mathews and hoyt fan before i got my elite) Honestly, the R35 was so much more smoother draw. And more dead in the hand than the mathews. The difference was night and day. Don't get me wrong, mathews makes a great bow as well. Honestly, i find the grip on the mathews to be horrible though, IMO. But some people love their grips. To each their own i guess.

    When you say with what carbon used to be this bow is light years ahead of that isn’t really relevant. It should be light years ahead of the old bows. The bowtech carbon one is absolutely horrible but when you shoot the RX-7 there is nothing after the shot. You can’t compare new bows to old bows cause the new are more than likely gonna be better. You gotta compare them to the current bows that are out that are in the same category.

  • @kellenpucher2849
    @kellenpucher2849 2 года назад +1

    I'm a bit confused on what makes this the "best carbon bow" he's ever shot - nothing specific was mentioned. Simply because it had low hand shock from a first time carbon producer? PJ was also singing praise for the PSE Mach 34 - beginning to get the sense that we're just Oooo'ing over any big brand to keep our vendors happy.

    • @Makka316
      @Makka316 2 года назад +1

      What exactly are you confused about? It's subjective for someone to say a bow is the best they have ever shot. How do you quantify subjectivity? If someone says it's the best carbon bow they've ever shot that doesn't mean they are saying the other carbon bows they have shot were bad. Indeed PJ liked the Levitate and the Mach34 but said he preferred the Mach34 over the Levitate. Does that mean the Levitate sucked because he liked the Mach34 better? Best approach is for you to try and test them all and decide - subjectively! - which carbon bow you think shoots best. No one should be offended if you pick a different bow to the one they like most.
      Having said that, he did mention some specifics on the Era such as the adjust-ability, tune-ability, forgiveness of the brace height etc. These are all good things but that doesn't mean those things will make it the best carbon bow you've ever shot. Perhaps your favourite turns out to be a bow with 6" brace height, course 1/2" draw length adjustments, limited let off options, limited ease of tuning, but is lighter and faster.
      After you've tried them all I'm interested to know which one you think shoots best.

  • @ME-pb2gf

    Nope. Carbon bows need to weigh far less. Let me put the weight where I want on the bow.

    This thing has soooo many screws and none of them come with lock tight. This thing sounds good on paper but I spend a lot of time chasing noise. Thing is loud. Everything backs off including the threads for the stabilizer which also backed out. 1/4” draw increments is very nice however and it’s a smooth shooting bow with a stiff draw. Any changes made to the let off and it’s an absolutely horrible bow so really, could we eliminate some moving parts? 🤷‍♂️ I don’t get why everyone has been pissing themselves over this Bow. I thought I’d try something new but I’d rather shoot my Mathew’s V3 if I’m being honest.

      In my opinion it's little more than a marketing gimmick, yes it may help with the tuning but as I've said previously but shooting bullet holes mean nothing to target archers, we work on form and consistency to achieve success.
