Glad I bough an omnia, not only is it faster but its 32" which does a little bit of everything well. Was afraid I made a bad decision jumping on the omnia. I run the limb stops and they hit at almost precisely the same time as my cable stops. SET technology is awesome to have but after shooting 4400 arrows thru my omnia I haven't used it yet. I made some micro adjustments to my rest to get bullet holes with multiple different arrows. I really hope they remedied the cable rub issue as that was a disappointment for a lot of ppl. I get slight rub at 29" with the bottom cam but my draw is set to 28.75 and it just kisses, after 4400 shots you wont be able to tell where the cam has rubbed the cable. What I was happy about is the stock winners choice strings are still on the bow, I have catfish custom vec99 strings being made but don't plan on installing them until after deer season. My mathew's strings lasted under 1000 shots and they were trashed. Either way went with the underdog elite and am extremely happy with my omnia. I would consider one of these 33" bows as my new 3d bow but have a soft spot for the era for late season hunting.
@@mikeguy9668 My shoulder has been bothering me from work and I'm sure shooting bow hard all summer didn't help. I still find my omnia effects my shoulder less than a couple of my other bows. Either way I'd like to move to a daily shooter/3d bow with a super smooth draw. Is the Ethos draw that much smoother than the omnia? It will be months before my local elite shops get the ethos. I don't plan on dropping from 70# draw anytime soon but some bows feel a lot smoother on the draw and bother my shoulder less.
Even though the IBO is slightly slower on the Kairos, I wonder if a 27.5 in draw would be faster on that bow because it’s higher to the top end of its cam?
I would like to see this. But I do think it would be because your closer to the top end. It should be more efficent. Plus the ibo is really very close to the same since the one would be ibo at 30 and the other is 29.5. Usually a half inch of draw length is 5 fps
No need to change great features that work! They merely gave the option of a more stable Omnia which is not a bad thing. Give them another year or two to learn from the deficiencies of Mathews and Hoyt and Elite will be packed with awesome tech.
Nice bows but I wished they go back to the old style grip like the synergy had it was probably the best grip I think ever but I guess they can’t make everyone happy lol
Why do bow companies release new bows right in the middle of bow season? Why can they release them over summer? Bow season has been open here for a few weeks already and I already have my setup dialed in. Just seems like the industry needs to collectively reset releases
Redundant, why not just make a short draw cam available on the Ethos? Then you could have another bow offer something different. Where is the pic rail? Where is the dovetail? Why cant we get limbs to match the riser?
Idk,just my opinion. It's a hunting bow.u hold that bow when it's 50° or below that grip get cold after a while .go back to putting grips back on hunting bows, rubber wood I don't care anything but a metal riser.
Pretty SOP now. The bows from all are amazing now so I understand the trouble with discovering (creating) new technology. I just wish it wasn’t every year nee bows. Go a couple or 3 between. The golf industry has done the same mess. Have to keep jobs for multiple people when a few could do. You tube vid makers a job and free gear
The ethos is looking super nice. Excited, thanks PJ and team for the review
According to the Elite website Ethos is rated up to 75 lbs draw weight FYI
Made up my mind. Next bow will be an Elite. Carbon Era looks too amazing.
Awesome video review!
Love watching pj very good at explaining.
THE ETHOS IS ALSO AVAILABLE IN 75 LBS.
I wish both were
the Ethos and Kairos will outsell the Omnia hands down. great job Elite.
Did they fix the cable rubbing issue this year?

I have the omnia and ethos. Ethos has no rubbing issues at all at 30.25. I swapped the spacers on the omnia and no more rub

@@tsi-rocket4144short answer is yes it's smoother. But in your situation I would put the smooth mods on. It's a world of difference

If I remember, I'll do a speed test when it comes in today and let you know... I shoot a 28" DL, so it'll be at that length and 70# on each
@@chrississon2646 why so?

I got the Verdict, awesome bow. These look like mini Verdicts.
Great video showing off the new Elite bows. I wish you do a instructional video about shooting your bow while wearing eye glasses. Thanks
Shortening draw length will help get a better angle if your glasses frames are getting in the way.
Do they compare to the omnia?
Do these still feature CSS cable stability system? Where the cam contacts the cable through the draw cycle to stabilize it?
My omnia rubbed. They had the spacers backwards. Easy fix to do myself. They were more than happy to do it for me but no need
Elite Enkore was a 33'' ata bow.
Nice bows but I wished they go back to the old style grip like the synergy had it was probably the best grip I think ever but I guess they can’t make everyone happy lol
Makes me want a new bow

Nothing new, ELITE, PRIME,BEAR are the best at this flagship story!
Need longer axle to axle offerings
Ethos has the identical string angle to the Energy 35. I’m a longer ATA guy myself. I’ll probably buy the ethos.
So new flagships with no new features?????????
What would be a new feature? I couldn't think of one, except bigger draw weight adjustments through modules like the new Mathews..

Another year Elite falling short for the long draw shooters.
I just bought the terrain. I have a long draw myself and it's a fantastic bow couldn't be happier
@@mattbranham9898 are you 31.5” draw?
@@jasonreedman4648 yes
It smooth, quiet, fast, feels great. Feels like a flagship bow and it's only 750 bucks
@@mattbranham9898then the ethos will fit you. It goes to 31.5
No pic rail or integrated rest mount? Major let down
Still have ugly black limbs! Same thing as last year except longer ata!
Yeah, one inch longer and 3/4" longer brace height..And no bows in the 34-36" range..Disappointed..
I just got one with real tree edge limbs.. Much better looking!
Awesome video review!
