    1/4 draw, adjustable let off by 1%. Three options to tune..
    Thats a 5 in my book.

    Addressing the 'vibration' you initially felt, the sight mount was on the bow without the sight attached. When you shot with the sight attached, no vibration.

      i came here to say the same thing. ! 😅😅 But i do like thatbyes doing numbers now, and not just saying why its good. We can actually decide based on results, not just a opinion. Even though i trust MFJJ's opinion, i still want to see for myself. But you have to go shoot the bows to know which one is roght for you. So I would just try pick a few that fit your hunting style from the video, then go shoot them at your local shop to decide. This year i bought the SS34 without even shooting it. I absolutely love the bow, but i saw every reveiwer given that bow praise. So i did it. but dont do what i do. 😅😅 Good luck boys!

    Shot the Ethos and Kairos today and really liked both a LOT!
    Ordered the Kairos in Midnight Copper because of my 28" DL. That color is SICK!!!

      Was there any difference in the draw cycle between the two? This bow seems pretty quick considering it had the comfort mode 😳

    I'm certainly interested in this because I'm draw length challenged., and I shoot with the wrong hand lol. Not a lot of choices locally for left handed.

    I would like to see if having the camera guy reset the vibration to 0 once you have got to full draw would change the result. I know it seems to jump a lot once you have reset it and are getting ready for the next shot. I have never used such a machine but figured that would make sure it only includes vibration on shot. It may not be possible in your testing. I like the videos either way.

    I shot both set to 70 lbs both set at 29.5 back to back with the same arrow, both bare bow. Kairos was more dead in the hand and much smoother draw.

  • @Nowhy
    @Nowhy 8 месяцев назад +2

    Not sure if I saw that right, but it looked as if you turned the draw weight down on the top for 3/4 turns and 1 full turn on the bottom. Does tiller tuning change the feel or vibration in a bow when shot?

    Which bows have low reflex? I watch almost Al your reviews and most seem to be north of 2-1/2”. Trying to find an extremely good shooting bow with smooth cams. As long as I can spit a 450-500 grain arrow out around 270 fps that is Al I care about.

  • @Cparchery...
    @Cparchery... 8 месяцев назад +4

    I do like bowtech camlock but elite definitely has more tune abilities than bowtech cause you can shift the limb pockets you can shim the cams you can adjust the roller guard they have 1/4 inch draw adjustment and and probably the most adjustable lettoff and when with bowtech mowing the cams changes the cam lean witch is what elites system does also so unless bowtech puts the timing adjustment in there hunting bows I would say elite has the most tunable bow on the market rite now

    • @The-Jokes-on-You
      @The-Jokes-on-You 8 месяцев назад

      Bowtech's worm gear allows the cam to move for nearly infinite adjustment so there is no cam lean (no need to shim), not sure where you get the idea that elite is superior. That said, Both companies make great bows.

    • @archerash6695
      @archerash6695 8 месяцев назад

      I agree.. Bowtech was my second brand I tried, Mathews was the first.
      Now shoot PSE and I'm not going anywhere...
      If elite makes a 34" carbon, then I buy one.

    • @Cparchery...
      @Cparchery... 8 месяцев назад +1

      @The-Jokes-on-You I was saying elite has more options for tuning I said bowtech does have a good system but elite has more options I've owned both and like both but I've also have seen a lot of post of bowtech locking screws stripping also mfjj says the best way to tune a bow is moving the cams left and right the reason you do that is to adjust cam lean both elite and bowtech do that so I wouldn't say one is more superior than the other

    • @Cparchery...
      @Cparchery... 8 месяцев назад

      @@The-Jokes-on-You also what I was getting at with elite being able to adjust the roller guard and having the 1/4 draw length with adjustable lettoff has a big factor in tuning

    • @tsi-rocket4144
      @tsi-rocket4144 5 месяцев назад

      Elite has more options than bowtech. Elite is using a limb pocket adjustment to basically "yoke tune" and the cams can still be shimmed if that's your flavor. Bowtech cams can be adjusted with simple tools "shimming" but they have no way to yoke tune. Between the 1/4" draw adjustments, adjustable roller guard, crazy letoff adjustments and premium strings you can't go wrong with elite. My omnia has been throwing 350-385gr arrows at a pace of 4500+ arrows and I still see no reason to install my catfish strings. I have to go shoot the newer bowtech models to be fair but the omnia draw IMO is far superior to the sr350 and the omnia had better speed tests. This bow is on my radar for a daily shooting/3d bow but im not giving up my omnia. Even owning an rx7 I still prefer my omnia's draw force curve.

    It’d be cool to list your scores on the right side of the board, or make a graphic, to see where each bow falls in the pack

  • @davidhouser3923
    @davidhouser3923 8 месяцев назад

    based on my experience doing vibration testing and analysis (10 years) the vibrations you are measuring, while not completely irrelevant, are not representative of what is actually felt. you are measuring in a single axis from left to right on the horizontal plane. The vibration levels will be much higher and more relevant in the front to back direction on the horizontal plane. that is the direction the bow is releasing energy.

  • @tsi-rocket4144
    @tsi-rocket4144 5 месяцев назад

    You can still shim an elite cam but you cant yoke tune a bowtech bow so elite has more tuning options whether is a preferred tuning option for bow techs can be debated. Either way elite should be 5/5 for tuning with bowtech being 4/5 or also 5/5.

  • @scottpope7255

    What length of reflex do you want a hunting bow to be?

    • @michaelbushey2787
      @michaelbushey2787 8 месяцев назад

      The least amount is reflex the bette. It makes it so you cant torque your bow. I shoot the bowtech SS34 which has 0 reflex. and i have to really try to torque it in oerder for it to do it. But then i shoot my mathews no cam. and its like night and day. My left and rights get all fucked up from torque.

    My DL is 29" so im interested in how both bows feel and speed using same mods. 🍎 to 🍎 Because my DL is 29", it will be a hard decision for me. Feel and speed is what I'll be looking at when i go to my local dealership. If someone does a video comparing the mods on both bows, it might help me cut down on time at the dealer from switching out the mods so much.

    Thank you for explaining why ignoring pic and dovetail mounting systems is a mistake. Some thick skulled individuals out there dont seem to grasp the idea. Really like Elite's lineup. The omission of those mounts is a terrible decision on their part.

    • @d500mag2
      @d500mag2 8 месяцев назад +2

      It's the reason I went with Elite. I didn't have to spend another $1000.00 for a rest and sight I already had.
      I can see where a shop owner sees that as a missed sale.

    • @setharter
      @setharter 8 месяцев назад

      @d500mag2 You wouldn't have to buy anything different on a bow that has those options. They also provide standard mounting options. The problem is if you already own a pic sight and/or a dovetail rest Elite doesn't offer a way to use them on their 2024 bows.
