Honestly Elite bows are so underated. I switched from Mathews a few years ago and never looked back. Still love Mathews bows and have nothing bad to say about them. Elite bows tune and shoot so easily it's hard to not fall in love with them.

I’ve been a Matthews guy for a very long time every year I got a new one. I finally fell off the hipe I started asking my self questions like, how can these bows with such technology not be number one seller‘s. I finally understood, Matthews is perhaps better at advertising than making bows. No disrespect to Matthews I did hat great enjoyment shooting them. But adjustability and tune ability they are a thing of the past, When it comes on doing it yourself and not relying on a bow shop.

Nice review PJ like how you added about the comments from the PSE review. I will agree that all the name brand bows are shooters for sure. Like I said in the last comment it all comes down to how the person shooting it feels. Everyone is different and likes different things. And all bows fit everyone different but that don’t mean that the ones that don’t fit me are junk cause they are not

I went to shoot one a couple hours after this dropped! I’ve always been a fan of Elite bows, but shoot Obsession. The draw cycle was better than I anticipated. For how fast the bow is, it stacks up nicely. There is a drop into the back wall. It holds great. Bare bow with a biscuit it has a controlled forward thump that is not intrusive. I don’t think anyone would be disappointed with this bow. Elite has some very useful functions built into their bows. We know Matthew’s, Hoyt, and Bowtech are gonna bring the heat, it’s shaping up to be a good year! Thanks PJ for the sneak peek.

I'm not sure why vibration at the shot is such a big factor for shooters. As a matter of fact, I think it is such a talking point by reviewers, who get it from manufacturers, and now archers are convinced they need a bow that is without shock or vibration. Mathews has eight limbs separated by a strip between each pair of limbs for the purpose of vibration elimination. Now we have a mini stabilizer to dampen at the shot. Does vibration matter? Perhaps. But to the extent that it draws attention, well, I'm not so sure. When I shoot my longbow it isn't a factor. I own multiple Mathews and Elite bows and like them all, however, I won't make a choice based on vibration when deciding on a new bow. I'd like a lighter bow without spending the money to get a carbon bow. Just thinking aloud.

I was excited to get an Elite last year-couldn’t get my hands on one. They didn’t sell great at my local shops. (Edit: the lack of sales meant the shops wouldn’t stock em) Was dead set on one til I got to shoot a V3. Ordered a V3X a couple weeks ago. I looked at the money I’d spend for an Elite, which I couldn’t get hands on until I bought it, and a V3X, which the shop had multiples of in stock…and it kinda made the choice for me. why 80 [pounds? the Great Howard Hill said he could kill any animal in North America with a 50# bow and a sharp broad head!!

@@doughosig6798 Yep it will kill with 40 pounds too. I like DEVASTATION is why I like 80 mostly on big boar hogs. deer it don't matter. I prefer 80.

Blurred speed on beginning, thats not the way to appereciate your viewers. Just leave it out if you dont want show it fight away.

The video does have the chrono results. While the chrono is blurred it says "later in video" and at 13:06 in the video we show our test setup and speed result.

@@JJ79_ Because we don't want to give away the speed in the first couple seconds of the video. We want you to watch all the way to the point where we don't have it blurred.

If this bow was 33” and closer to a 7” brace, I might be a buyer.

Thought the same, wish it was 34". Got it anyway, couldn't be happier. String angle is the same as my old Nitrum 34.
