You called it, the Yawl Tumnble its happened to me about five times, I wont even try it anymore, its to dangerous the drone just goes crazy till a crash is detected. Did your crash knock the motor off?
The Avata isn't a freestyle quad, it's cinewhoop.
I Hope we can do normal slow yaw turns like a cinewhoop for cinematic shots?
thank you!!!! & yes, i had to re-solder the motor back on to the Avata. The thing crashed so hard that the wires at the bell of the motor ripped out and the whole motor broke off and was found like 20 ft away. along with 2 of the props. but had it back up and running in a few hours and have had no issues sense.
@@outboxfpv4360Yaws are fine, just not max speed and yawing it like a freestyler.

Answered my question of whether the motor upgrade alone would fix the Yaw Tumble glitch. I have the motors just debating doing it.. not sure its even worth it. The frame upgrade supposedly fixes it, but you also give up the frame rigidity and the clean camera view below 18 degrees. Why can't DJI just fix the damn thing through firmware.. make it fly right DJI!!!! Not force us into Normal mode!
Hey Luke! I tried attempting the upgrade today and after I finished soldering and putting everything back my avata’s gimbal started freaking out shaking up and down really quick and I also got esc error and propulsion error. Does that mean I fried my drone ?

The improvements have been substantial. the Axis Flying C157 upgraded motors have made a massive performance improvement as far as power goes. However, the battery life is drained much faster with the upgraded motors. So it is a trade off. More Power for Less Fly time. So its really up to you and your flying style weather this upgrade will be right for you.
& yes, i did also change out the props to aftermarket props. thanks for watching!!!
