In question no. 9.. 8w + 4w + 4(4/3)=26 is multiplied by 3
In Johnny's sum i.e 12th question, we need not multiply 7 because it divides first and multiples further, so the answer we get will be the same, Thank you

Thank you.. u make the concept clear. Have a doubt.. plz help..
A person employed a group of 20 men for a construction job. These 20 men working 8 hours a day can complete the job in 28 days. The work started on time but after 18 days, it was observed that two thirds of the work was still pending. To avoid penalty and complete the work on time, the employer had to employ more men and also increase the working hours to 9 hours a day. Find the additional number of men employed if the efficiency of all men is same. I'm getting 33.n fraction.. but the ans is 44.. I'm really not getting the logic behind.

Q.4 can also be solved by chain rule if we take money as work done
in question no. 13 when we find out the 1 day work of ram, syham and rita in ratio after that we have to reverse the ratio to find out the income...according to tips learnt
Actually it's the same thing, for example if work done is in ratio 3:8, then if LCM is taken (which is 24), the ratio is going to come 8:3 which is the same when we reverse the ratio. I hope this helps.

Sir in question 10 no. Of days for work completion by all P Q R are 18 days and by P R it is 10 days for same work. The question figure is seems to be incorrect as the no. Of days for PQR all must be lesser than any two people out of them.
plz make a video on how to solve a rc in mba entrance exam
34:00 sir men is equal to 8w/6 right
Sir plzzzzz explain ques 8 again plzzzzz sir🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 I am confused in ans
👌
sir, u reversed the names in 1 st problem and there ratio values also .
In the 6th problem u haven't considered the condition of "R completing the remaining work in 6 days". it means 1/6th of the work
is completed by R in 6 days => In 1 day R can do 1/36th of the work. Ratio of there works in 1 day are P:Q:R=1/30:1/45:1/36
P & Q work together and completed 5/6 of work in 15days. Work left is 1-5/6=1/6. That remaining work completed by R. (As we know more the work more the money, if you do 1/6 of work then you will get 1/6 of money). R did 1/6 of the work which is left. So 1/6 x 15000=2500.
Hope you understand
Karthik u r right
15 days of work together.R also has share in it beside remaining work why not considered at the end please explain
@@soundandnature5288 same doubt
No karthik. We can't consider this ratio because p and w completed the whole work and 1 day work of them was according to it but R worked only 1/6th of the whole work. So we can't consider the 1 day work of R as it was not according to the whole work
46:14 sir ratio of one day work is same as ratio of income, you mentioned as reverse before
Hey Deepak, ratio of income is inverse of ratio of days. For example if ratio of days is 2:3 then ratio of income will be 1/2:1/3 i.e. 3:2, as if you will complete the work in less days your income will be more and vice versa.
On the other hand, ratio of income is similar to ratio of work, as they are Directly proportional.
Lost question no 2 in bn
a alone can do a work for 12 days along with b he finishes the work and earns rs.2800 and if b earns rs.4200 for himself.what is the daily wage of b
The answer in question 8 is not 55... I guess...can anyone clear this to me pls??
Need Verbal ability videos sir
Ya me too..
question 6, the answer will be 5k because R completes the work in 6 days. If we assume the total work is 900, we get a work ratio of 6:4:5.
Sir in question number 6, you have taken R's one day work to be 1/6 where as it is given that he completes it in 6 days and not 1 day. 1 day's work would be 1/36 thererfore the work ratio of P, Q and R is : 1/30: 1/45: 1/36 = 6:4:5 and hence should be (5/15)*15000=5000.
Kindly tell if this is wrong or right.
i have same doubt . because while using trick we want to find out one day work and 1/6 is a work done in 6 days .so according to me your answer is right.
5000 is what even I got!
Yes even I have same doubt bro
Yes ..u r ryt first lcm ..then go for R work....5000 is ans
Why are you going for 1 day the remaining job left for R is 1/6 and the share asked for is based on that you are going in deep 1/36 is just for a day even if you calculate that way the amount you consider must not be 15000 it must be for a day
Sir does this lengthy process will work out for competitive exams
Hi Dakshayani, Knowing why are you doing, what you are doing is very important to be good at Quantitative Aptitude. Once you know this, you'll see short cuts working for you themselves.
Sir great video but in question no 6 i think answer will be Rs5000.
Need the videos on c programming too
Could you please letme know the solution using the LCM method.. i was using it my answer came 5000
did u get it ?
S, T, U complete work in 40,48,60 days Respectively. They received 10800 to complete the work. They begin the work together but T left 2 days before the completion of the work and U left 5days before the completion of the work,. S has completed the remaining work alone. What is the share of S?
Pls give me the answer anyone?
My ans comes to be 4860 Rs
Sir I think ques 8 ka solution wrong h becoz usme mention h 100 days work tha and total amt 2400 receive hona tha but 420 hua Nd A.T.S k ki value 55 h then 55×12 660 hota Na then 2400 - 660 = 1740 becoz 1 day absent par Rs 12 fine h to 55 day absent par to 660rs fine hua Na sir plzzz iss problem ko solve kijiye I am very confused
Parthiv is absent for 55days So, 55x12 =660/- he fined for 660/- Total days=100 he is absent for 55 days 100-55=45 So, parthiv worked for 45 days 45x24=1080/- So, 1080-660=420 👍
Hope u cleared the doubt!! 👍
In 12 question why shouldn't we use chain rule...pls clarify 44:07 ...im getting 420rs ...when solved using chain rule..
i dot crct when used chain rule
See how it was easy.
In last Q.13 the ratio of 1 day is 4:3:1 then ratio of income would be 1:3:4 na? why r u take ratio of income 4:3:1
same problem ...pls help me too
@@prajwalkumarsaw because we used the ratio of work done/day and not the ratio of days required to complete the work.
work increases-wage increases. days used to complete the same work increases-wage decreases. Hope it helps.✌️
Sir have shown earlier questions that if the ratio of work appear in a descending order then no need to reverse them....
Is 6th one right sir
Q 2 Q3 can done by efficiency method...
Jusssssst invert &
Jusssssst chill
Sir , I think in question no.8 is wrong .
Q2 is missing
46:05 sir can you tell how ratio of 1/6, 1/8, 1/24 become as 4:3:1
See brother, here simple logic is used. To reduce the complexity of ratio, sir had multiplied each element of ratio with same number 24, as it will not affect the ratio because it is not the actual value. After multiplying 24 the ratio becomes 24/6:24/8:24/24 which will become 4:3:1. Well if you do not multiply 24 and simply take the ratio as it is and proceed for the further calculation, you will get the same final answer.

In Q6, rest of the job is done by R in 6 days. But R also work with P for 15 days. So why are we not also including the work done by R for the 15days?
please read the question properly. it says they work together for 15 days and rest is done by r . so p and q work together for 15 days and rest is done r.
Sir in last question, 800 is the total amount of Ram and shyam, not the Rita then at last why you have taken 800 as total to find Rita's money.
Please reply
They both complete painting work with the help of rita
It means total 3 workers
4:05
Sir according to you Q8..parthiv was absent for 55 days and present for 45 days.. therefore parthiv must get 45*24=1080 amount..but he got 420. Sir I think it's wrong..reply
You should consider the amount fined for the days he was absent.
i.e.45×24=Rs.1080(amount for his work)
55×12=Rs.660(amount fined)
Total amount received=1080-660=Rs.420

q6). doubt . Answer should be Rs 5000
In last question Rita has 1/24th work so Rita will get 1/24th money right?????
Yeah Lakshmi I to got the same doubt that ys reading comments if any had doubt like me and the person u onlyy 😀

In Q8 why do we need to do 100-k.
I mean he was appointed for a 100 day job. How could he finish 100 days of job in 45 days.
So we should take 100*24 - 12k = 420.
Then it will come as 110.
This would mean that he completed the 100 day work but took 110 days of absent days.
No he didn't complete the work. He worked for 45 days and was paid according to it
