    Q9:: A already is working 8 hours/day . Now we can calculate the no. of days for B to finish if he works for 8hours/day.
    B's total hours=8*10=80
    if B is working 8hours/day=80/8=10
    Now calculate simply A and B working together = 1/12 + 1/10
    ans =60/11

    Easy way to solve Question No 6:
    3 men do 1/2 amount of work so 1 men does 1/6 amt of work
    4 boys do 1/6 amt of work so 1 boy does 1/24 amt of work
    Therefore,
    8 Men and 8 Boys do the work in,
    8x(1/6)+8x(1/24) = 5/3
    Inverting would give 3/5

    An easier method of solving question 10
    just use the normal technique that he described earlier and at the end divide by 2 because only one person works on a given day
    Raj does 1/16 work in 1 day
    Suraj does 1/12 work in 1 day
    Raj + Suraj when working alternating,
    = 1/12 + 1/16 work in 2 days
    = 1/2*( 1/12 + 1/16) work in 1 day
    = 7/96 work in 1 day
    Raj + Suraj does 7/96 work in 1 day, so, they do the work in 96/7 = 13.75 days

    For Qn 2
    We can use an eqn
    M1 ×D1×H1/W1 = M2×D2×H2/W2
    Where M1, M2 - no of men
    D1, D2 - no of days
    H1, H2 - no of hours
    W1 ,W2 - no of work
    This eqn can be used in such type of problems. In this question
    M1 = 24
    M2= 30
    D1 = 10
    D2 =?
    Therefore ,
    M1×D1 = M2 ×D2
    D2 =M1 ×D1/M2
    = 24×10/30 = 8 days

    For 36:12 Mt thought process is..
    Let Raj takes x days and Suraj takes y days while working at alternative days.
    X/16 + Y/12 = 1
    Simplifying...
    3X + 4Y = 48
    Now, values of X and y must be the closest..
    Half the left most value i.e. 48/2=24 as both are working alternate days...
    Values of X may be 6, 7, 8 and corresponding values of y becomes 7.5, 6+3/4, 6. Closest pair is 7 and 6+3/4....
    Total days = 13+ 3/4

    9th question can be done in a simpler way. I got the same ans doing less calculation.
    A's one day work = 1/12 [8hrs per day]
    B's one day work = 1/8 [10hrs per day]
    if 1/8 work is done in 10 hrs, the amount of work done in 8 hours will be 1/10
    now we have both A and B 8 hrs work per day
    1/12 + 1/10 = 11/60(one day's work together)
    total time taken = 60/11 days

      in the question q is more efficient than p ..so i took 100% for p for easy calculation...so p:q is 100:125 means 4:5 work
      and time efficiency for p:q is 1/4x:1/5x....means 5x:4x..x is time here...5 and 4 are work part..
      already we know p has done in 30 days...5x is 30 means 5x=30 so x =6...now we have to find the days took by q...so q part is 4x so 4*6=24

      Raj work -> 16 days -> 1/16 work/day
      Suraj work -> 12 days -> 1/12 work/day
      They work on alternate days
      So for 2 days work done = Raj's 1 day work + Suraj's 1 day work

    sir, the 9th question can be done in a much more simpler manner
    just by finding the one day work by A AND B in 8 and 10 hrs respectively
    ie
    for A
    1/12 amt of work in 8hrs
    for B
    1/8 amt of work in 10hrs which can be found for 8hrs
    so B's 8hr work will be 1/10 (using unitary method)
    so now.....both have same 8hrs work
    so (1/12)+(1/10)=11/60..................................total work in one day by both
    so the answer would be by inverting ie......60/11....(saves lots of calculation time)
    thankyou,,,

      Unitary method is nothing but cross multiply.
      In this case:
      B can do 1/8 amount of work in 10 hours then B can do x amount of work in 8 hours. After cross multiplying, we get
      10x = 8/8 i.e. x = 1/10

    19:50 another easy way to calculate is
    *Find the work per day for 3 MEN and 4 BOYS
    * Then cross multiple 3 MEN with 8 MEN And 4 BOYS with 8 BOYS like we did in 8:23
    * And then Add both values for the final results 😊

    For the 8th Question:
    Let P+Q finish work in N days
    P+Qs 1day work = 1/N ...eq1
    When P works alone,he takes:N+25 days
    Hence Ps 1day work = 1/N+25
    When Q works alone,he takes: N+9 days
    Hence Qs 1day work = 1/N+9
    Using eqn1:
    1/N+25 + 1/N+9 = 1/N
    Solving N=15 (Ans.)

    Simple method for QNo6
    3men = 2 days
    ie 3men = 1/2
    1man = 1/6.
    8men = 8/6.
    Hence, 8boys = 8/24 (like above)
    Now 8/6 + 8/24 = 6/10
    ie 10/6 days..

    Simple way:A:B=5:1
    Difference 5-1=4
    So,A= 5/4×60=75 days
    B=1/4×60=15 days.

    • @pranayetta4160

      Wrong (A is faster than B then how would it takes 75 days)

    question number 2 simplified
    24 man= 10 days
    1 man= 24*10=240
    30 man=240/30= 8
    so 30 man will complete work in 8 days

    sir in question 6 instead of converting we can simplyfy these like 3men =1/2 1men =1/6 ,4 boys =1/6 1boys=1/24 8*(1/6)+8*(1/24)=4/3+1/3=5/3
    In question 9 we can solve a=1/12*8 that will a=1/96 b=1/8*10 that will b=1/80 both work 8 hrs a day 8/96+8/80 for x days 8x/96+8x/80 by simlify x/12+x/10=1 therfore x=60/11
