Every delpo forehand in that 5th was a winner.The quality that Rafa produced in the last 7-8 games to win was out of this world. And that hug at the end of the match. Two gladiators showing us what tennis is all about. A gentleman's sport at its finest.

There was a time when i was bored of watching the big three even though i am a big federer fan. Del Potro was the only reason i used to watch tennis. So sad to see him miss out at his physical peak.

Del potro and Nadal probably have the best forehand ever. Del potro for grass and hard court and Nadal on clay just because of the massive spin he puts on ball.
@@tmb8807 Well he does implement his wrist layback, primarily uses his shoulders for the backswing therefore generating a longer swing axis. So he needs to be far from the ball to reach his contact point. He doesn’t bend his elbow much making so he doesn’t have much elbow/forearm take back. Federer has a shorter backswing.
