I've been watching some old matches, Gaudio-Agassi or Haas-Rios for example. Man, the talent we had back then, what the hell happened... Some random 2nd round match was miles better than recent GS finals. I miss those guys so much.
The game has become one dimensional. It's more about hitting hard now and less talent and smart tennis. Nowadays with the homoganization, it's the same playstyle everywhere
DelPo. He was basically playing with just a B/H slice by then but that forehand needs to be registered as a WMD. And Nick: the best and worst of him right there. Brilliant but just can't seem to help himself. Two tweeners made him 2 BP down, loss of serve, loss of interest, loss of match. But, Man! How the sport needs these two...
Reminder that Del Potro got to World Nr 3, Mater 1000 champion and GS Finalist that Year having practically no backhand... one of the biggest "what if" in tennis history
@@jonathanshore5768 He had knee surgery mainly. It's almost recovered, but then he cut his foot in the commotion when a robber stole his Tesla from their house 3 weeks ago so now he's got to let that heal. He should be right for Stuttgart and Wimbledon.
It’s really surprising when you find the matches of players you never thought played against Kyrgios lol
They made the tennis court look smaller 😂 Great matchup though, and great first 2 sets!! Two players who matched some Federer characteristics!

Del Potro should have gone for a one handed backhand. It was always the left wrist that hurt him, not the cannon forehand.

What happened to him ?
nick, I like his game, but his attitude ....no good?

the angel overcomes the devil.
Kyrgios is the man
Two who players who’s careers feel wrong. Del Po should have so much more and Kyrgios should have so much less
You're funny
How much does kyrgios even have LOL
Kygs would beat prime del po more than 5 times if they played 10 out of 10 times
I'm not sure about that, Delpo beat Federer in the US Open final, he was top tier.
Tennis has been boring since kyrgios
fax
Since Kyrgios what ? Got injured ?
lot of kyrgios haters here
