      As a massive fedfan, watching Fed plays Djokovic is giving me more anxiety than when he's playing Nadal. It seems like he's found the solution to Nadal (away from clay, that is), but having an even harder time with Djokovic than 10 years ago

      @@101nemesis Yeah. People keep saying Fed was in his prime well into the 2010's, but have they ever watched and compared his movements and forehand in the mid-late 00's? That was his peak. He just happened to stay really really good well past his prime and was able to keep up with his younger rivals.

      @@andrewmark2783 bulkier in the areas that matter. Roger and Rafa weigh the same, while Djokovic is about ten pounds lighter, and they're all about the same height - but the way Roger trains and plays makes him both seem and act lighter than either of them.

Last match against Federer is brutal example of that. There is so awful to whistle against him when trying to serve second serve. Novak is very decent. Is truly sportsmanlike. He is always rise thumb up when opponent do something realy good.

    2019 Wimby still makes me sick for Roger. T serve match point and he wins Wimbledon. The wide slice serve hadnt worked all day really as far as giving value and he got bruned hard. History has a heavy weight.

    The story of Wimbledon last decade was just Novak silencing the crowd year after year. A word in for rafa, too - Although he only has 2 Wimbys, he's a grass court GOAT.

      Unless he gets injured, I don't see him been surpassed bz the young ones in at least 3 years. And after that, maybe he won't win everything, but 1 or 2 slams and a couple more masters 1000.

    I think the big 3 are so good we often overlook how great players like Tsonga, Delpo and Ferrer were but it feels like alot of them mentally broke when up against the big 3

      Great point.
      What about Murray?
      Any of these guys could have won multiple majors without those beasts in their way. Del Po could have a few. Murray might have 7-8 major title. Tsonga probably a few.
      Hell Roddick would have had 5-6 and probably not have retired so young.

    What an amazing era of tennis. Big 3 in their prime for almost the whole decade along with so many others. Forgot how powerful jo-wilfried’s forehand was. Also forgot how stan and rog have damn near identical backhands
