Thanks Bob....looking forward to seeing more sub stuff. ALSO thanks for the list of recommended items...I'll be writing soon as to what items I will be wanting....I suppose it would be best to go through Floating Dry Docks as opposed through you?
Floating Drydocks? Are you referring to my website at www.nautilusdrydocks.com? Everything I sent you is available there, or just let me know what you want via email and I'll put an invoice together for you.
Awesome...and Thanks. Let me take a look at what I am wanting to do as far as the display is concerned; if or not I want lights(recommendation?) and then I'll order the accessories accordingly. Regardless, I know I will be wanting the actual kit. DH
You don't have to apply a clear paint to cover the model after all the ditail painting is done to keep it from falling off/scrubed off during RC operations? It sticks anyway?
If you watched the video, you'd see that I did clearcoat the model. I did not clear the weathering from the scuppers, but that, too, was explained in detail.
Vinegar speeds the oxidization of the iron particles exponentially. You could just leave your model outside to rust in the rain, but this is faster (and safer!)
Wonderfully shot and narrated! Thanks for this, it looks awesome!
fantastic tutorial, thank you Bob!!!
hey you have a nice day!
Bob this is superb, but could you please clarify the brand / name /shade of what I think is 'Modern Master' paint? Thank you.

Hi Bob. Can you please tell me if the Humbro paint for airbrushing is enamal paint, and is it gloss or matt?
Much appreciated. I'm sure you've fooled around with some dramatic lighting for taking pics of it..if so, post.
