- Mark Richardson, owner of Bionic Glove Technology Europe Ltd is seeking £100,000 for a 40% stake in his company. He's pitching a bionic glove that has the ability to be utilised for sports and gardening. The original invention was created by Dr. Jim Kleiner, an orthopedic hand surgeon.
An international sensation, Dragon's Den features entrepreneurs pitching for investment in the Den from our Dragons, five venture capitalists willing to invest their own money in exchange for equity.

That’s what won it for him. Theo recognised that he was extremely competent, honest and fully understood the value and limitations of his business and what he needed from them. Was clearly worth a punt because they wouldn’t have to manage him at all.
That guy is a boss, he should just sell all the products the dragons have
This is was you call a highly competent and astute businessman. Even salesmen could learn a lot from this guy.
You don't need to be loud, brash or overly confident. Cool, calm, measured and precise.

I find this more tolerable than Shark Tank, downright enjoyable even. The dragons are more methodical, more calm, more calculating... The sharks however are much more aggressive, far more bitey, though I am unaware of how often the products of each set go under... Went under? Does this show still air?

This salesman is fantastic. Anyone would've been thrown out the door here, but he said everything right. The valuation was superb too.

still going strong, companies still active, websites still up & listed on amazon, a number of golfing stores and probably elsewhere
Extremely small company. Still produce micro accounts. Shareholder equity is only £50k or so. It’s still around but the numbers are small

can someone explain to me how his company revenue last year is 11m and the over al bigger company in us is 120m... why does he need such a low investment for such a high pecentage.. surely he has profit soemwhere he can invest directly himself?
He doesn’t own that 11m company or that 120m company. He just has the rights to sell the product in Europe from the 11m company. After the contract, he won’t be allowed to sell any more. So his 100,000 for 40% is just to be allowed to sell the product. Idk if that made sense haha
