    Stay far away from arlo Cameras, trust me when I say it's a nightmare. Support is non existent, you have to call up the president of united states to get there customer service phone number, and even then you have to have someone in the government agency to confirm, and then you need to give them your right leg and left arm, and both your eye balls, after that you will have there illiterate chat reps who are at home playing sega or playstation and they will tell you they will email you with results because your interfering with there game time, Then they transfer you to someone else who are in India and you can not understand nothing they say, they tell you to do all this stuff that you already did 100 times. Then after all that and 9 hours later they tell you that your better off just taking our product back and get your money back.

      Wow. Sorry to hear that. Really appreciate you sharing that. Surely Google's support is better than that. Have you tried Nest?

    Question: does nest have 3hrs free total video storage or only stores for 3 hours? I have arlo now but am unhappy with the new EOL policy coming.

    • @TechDuels
      @TechDuels  Год назад

      Yes, Nest stores up to 3 hours of events on the camera however it is a rolling 3 hours, so once it's full it will rewrite. The Nest Cam (wired), Nest Cam (battery), Nest Doorbell (wired, 2nd gen), and Nest Doorbell (battery) have enough internal memory to store up to one hour of recorded events when they're offline. With the wired Nest Cam (outdoor or indoor) you'll get 10 days of 24/7 video history and 60 days of event video history with a subscription. We definitely recommend a subscription. Hope this helps!

      Was about to get my first cam.. an indoor outdoor wireless cam that I can move about.
      I already have google pixel and Home Mini and storage account with them so assumed it'd be easiest option... Have u had both? Or dyu obviously have Arlo pro 4 without any issues.. does it record for long? if I go away for 2 weeks will be able to look back to a certain time and date if I need with Arlo?

      Your doobell will flake and discolor in less than a year, and your nest security camera will fail after about 2 years. This has been my expirence so far.

      Are you referring to Nest Doorbell and camera? Have you tried Arlo in comparison?

      @@TechDuels Yes, the nest doorbell. Mine is offwhite and covered in flaked plasticnow and it's been less than 2 years, it looks awful and trashy. I have not tried any other doorbell yet. I'm currently considering the Eufy 2k doorbell.

      Very interesting. We hadn't heard of that issue occurring before. Is your doorbell exposed to any unusual elements that might've caused that? Did you contact them by chance? We've heard good things about Eufy as well. It narrowly missed our top 3.

      Thanks for the question. Yes it does - about 85 decibels. Considering getting it? Please use the link in the description to help out our channel. Thanks!

    You did not mention anything in reference to packages with four or more cameras
