I went to my gym and practiced from box onto a thick mat which eventually became a shorter box and a thinner mat. I did the backflip flat 1 week exactly after my first session at the gym. This is pretty motivating. Aside from normal training ill just stop and put some time and effort into these progressions. Hopefully someday i can get a good height, tuck and rotate the way you're supposed to. But first learning it and just hucking yourself back and getting over the fear is important. Everyone complains thats bad from you'll mess it up forever....um no when theres a problem i adjust my technique and tweak it until its right then go with it from there.
