I just watched this and doing the first step you showed me I did a backflip in like 10 minutes. Thank you so much. I have been trying to do the backflip for 5 years and could not do it until today. Again, thank you so much. You made my day 200x better. Thank you.
It’s taken me almost a year to get over the fear( I landed on my head when I tried when I was 13) I am so close to landing it on grass at 32years old Love your videos.. I can relate :)
At a trampoline park last year I landed on my neck and it hurt me sooo much I couldn’t really run for like a week my back was so hurt But now after 1 year I am searching these videos because I really want to try it
I started learning this like 3 weeks ago I was struggling with the macoco until today I did the macoco so well that I didn't even believe it well I did it again I believe it now and when I was working on jumping even higher I did a backhand spring I'm so happy right now I can do a backhand spring and I hope the coming days I'll be able to do the backflip.. Just wanna say to u guys it's not gonna be easy but don't give up just keep going remember progress is progress no matter how small just don't give uppp and don't forget to focus 🙂♥️
@@taoxinlyu7538 i am training but working on flexibility and bridge walkover so i will be able to pull off..do you feel depressed on not knowing how to backflip?
You really inspired to start a flipping channel. I learned to front flip and side flip with your videos now it’s time for the journey to the back flip. Keep doing what you do man🏂🙏🏾❤️
@@kacza1472 I first did a back handspring by trying a backflip but jumping too backwards. Basically messing up a backflip. And that's all I can do, I can't proceed ...
@@fspanzer1737 Well, I can only do a Backhandspring, too. My idea for the step up to the back flip is filming myself and slowly trying to change things up a bit. I am mostly afraid of jumping up and tucking xD I'll let you know if my solution worked!
@@nicolaswietjes6916 I already tried that, well, worked a little (after that, my back handspring got higher, but I'm still far away from the backflip). Maybe some more work will help. Btw thx
Honestly Pigmie's flip tutorials are one of the best out there , especially if you're a lonely guy who doesn't have friends to look out for u... Ummm.. all I wanted to say was it's safe to do alone (his flip progression tutorial)
I just hope people be learning their backflips. Biggest tip that made me learn the backflip was backhand springs. They'll immediately get you over the fear of inverting your body and will give you a very basic platform to learn other moves from!
Question: What if I don't have enough strength to do a back handspring? Because I've been told by so many people to just start with that, but the thing is that I'm not really sure if I would be able to catch myself with my hands. I'm tying to get a back walkover right now and that's where I noticed again how much strength I actually lack in my arms. So, even though I know if I'm not able to do a backflip, I could just catch myself with my hands to prevent falling on my head or on my face, what holds me back is that I don't know if my arms would actually be able to support my weight or if I'd risk just breaking my arm instead of my neck.
Dude your celebration was the epitome if success reaction!!! So cool 🥳 That was mine too when I landed mine with no hands. So exhilarating I wanted to do it again
I'm 14, and I do a lot of trampolines. One day i decided to learn a backflip on ground. I pretty much nailed it now, but it is so much scarier for me to flip over my shoulder or from the side of the tramp than just a straight backflip on ground
PJ Harry I have yet to do it, I was planning on doing it last weekend but my dad signed me up for gymnastics classes so I think that floor might be safer. I’m still gonna yolo it then tho! (Also I have done it spotted so I wouldn’t recommend yoloing it without at least a little practice) I’ll edit this comment if I do yolo it and land it
@@SMH_ I did make it last year lol, just a few times but I haven’t been able to completely overcome the fear factor so it takes me awhile before I can do it by myself each time :/ I do plan on working on my backflip this summer though, I now can do front flips and other tricks no sweat so I am making progress it’s just that dang backflip tho 😂
I got that back flip Macau thing down, more comfortable with going over my right shoulder, and I can do them with a bounce on the tramp but still haven't got the guts to do one on flat ground yet, been stretching and Macau flipping no problem but still.. I even watched backflips in slow mo about 100 times analyzing the angle and motion with momentum for every body part and I got the feeling down but now the fear of smacking hard ground.. gotta toughen up I guess
So I guess I am the only one who skipped the whole "going backwards but using hands" process and Can easilly do a backflip on ground but I am scared to back handspring
If you have a trampoline and are scared of flipping back, then jump backwards onto your back and use that bounce to practice tucking at a lower height, worked for me and I can flip without tucking my legs in on a trampoline now. Oh and watch the knees on the landing, they are only supposed to bend one way.
