    I loved the time to take our top off bit....so funny and great video! I own a 2024 Miata Club RF and love it to pieces. It's perfect for driving the hills of Northern CA.

      Thanks for the kind words! California is perfect for the Miata!

    I have had the base 1.5 in Spain for the last two months and its ace.Happy at 120 kph on the Autovia with the top down and a hoot on the many twisties in the mountains.Apart from lower tax and insurance there is a review done by a retired Canadian racing driver who concluded that the lower powered engine was the best option.

      I wouldn't want any more power in the Miata, it's awesome the way it is. Especially with the weather you get in Spain!

    Im 6ft 2in 200 lbs and surprisingly I fit fairly well. The soft top is much more spacious but I loved the RF too much im willing to sacrifice some space. The recaro seats are deep enough that it helped give a little more space. I was about to buy a 2024 mustang. Ended up buying a 2024 RF club. It's not always about the power!!!!

    Had a 2016 MX-5 Club soft top for 7+ years as my daily in 4 season weather. When the snow / ice / freezing rain hits the winter tires make the 50 / 50 weight distribution come to attention more with less traction. Not fun in winter ? Its a different kind of fun for sure but this car always got me home in some of the worst weather I've ever driven in. The ND3 Club soft top now sits in my garage optioned exactly like your test car. What I found lacking in that ND1 was the navigation system update. Stopped at 2020. The new ND3 has a Google voice assistant ( Kiki - Android based phone ) that takes my voice directions & puts them into Google maps in about 20 seconds displaying on the screen. I also got Kiki voice warnings of objects in the road about 1/2 mile before passing them. Still in the breakin period but already the improvements are felt in the padded center console & the heavier feel of the steering Mazda added. The driving feeling between the ND1 Club Vs the ND3 Club is very close. Getting the extra revs in the ND3 is a plus !

      You're one of the hardcore folks that can daily a Miata all year. I respect that - as I couldn't do it myself... But I can imagine the driving itself could be quite fun when grip is reduced.
      Also great to hear that you're enjoying your new ND3!

      Oops, you're correct! I just double-checked with our vehicle spreadsheet and I actually entered it correctly there, but didn't catch me saying it wrong while editing.
      Thanks for pointing it out!

    Would you still consider the Miata in a world where the Type R, Elantra N, and BRZ exist? Or is Miata always the answer?

    • @fengollc3765
      @fengollc3765 4 дня назад +3

      Type R and Elantra N aren't really in the same class or price range, I would take it over the BRZ the engine in the Miata likes to rev and is known to be very reliable, the BRZ motor not so much

      Yes, drive it on a twisty road with the top down and those other cars, although very nice and sporty, don’t really compare.

    Are the pedals aluminum?

    • @ag4allgood
      @ag4allgood 3 дня назад +1

      They are rubber but its easy to find the after market pedals in aluminum.

      Try an NC with seat mod. Its good for people upto around 6’4. My 6’ friends have to move the seat up when they get in my NA.
