CROWNING THE KING! - Mercedes-Benz GLS580 VS Cadillac Escalade ESV - Review
The newly refreshed 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLS580 is the German automaker's flagship luxury SUV and today we are pitting it against the king, the Cadillac Escalade, to see which of these two fullsize three-row SUVs is the ultimate luxury family hauler. The 2024 Cadillac Escalade comes equipped with a 6.2L V8, while the GLS580 packs a Twin Turbo 4.0L V8 - enough to make both of these behemoths move rather rapidly.
But with the GLS having just been refreshed and the Escalade still unchanged until the 2025 Escalade will bring a refresh, this might be the best opportunity that Mercedes gets to compete against Cadillac's flagship SUV. With a revised interior and exterior, MBUX, and plenty of luxury...

ITALIAN STYLE! - Alfa Romeo Tonale - Review
Просмотров 49221 час назад
The new Alfa Romeo Tonale is available as both a PHEV as well as a regular non-hybrid vehicle and today we are taking a look at the non-hybrid Alfa Romeo Tonale Veloce - the top spec trim! Boasting a class-leading* horsepower rating of 268 and 295 lb-ft of torque coming from its 2.0L turbo inline-4 the Alfa Tonale clearly wants to be the sporty alternative to it's luxurious competitors. But whe...
HUMILIATING MERCEDES! - 2024 BMW i4 - Review
Просмотров 3,2 тыс.14 дней назад
The new BMW i4 is here in its 396 horsepower dual motor variant, the BMW i4 xDrive40i! Clocking in at $88,304.70 CAD here in Canada (around 65,000.00 USD) this BMW EV is anything but cheap, but considering the closest competitor with three stars is the Mercedes EQE, the only car we ever gave a full on "do not buy" verdict, BMW might have a chance to massively outperform its German competitors. ...
SOUTHERN STYLE! - 2024 Ford Expedition King Ranch - Review
Просмотров 93921 день назад
The 2024 Ford Expedition King Ranch embraces country-styling with a southern theme that would make cowboys of old feel right at home - not only because of the fancy interior touches but also because the fullsize Ford Expedition is as big as some Toronto condos. Powered by an EcoBoost 3.5L V6 the Expedition produces a healthy 400 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque. Enough to propel this family h...

In today's review we take an in-depth look at the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, the flagship model of the Mercedes lineup. Clocking in at a whopping $177,430.00 here in Canada, this specific Mercedes S580e is almost fully spec'd out and features a twin turbo inline-6 that is mated to an electric motor. This PHEV combination not only delivers up to 100km of electric-only range, but also a healthy 510 h...
A MASSIVE SURPRISE! - Lincoln Corsair - Review

Lincoln's luxury compact SUV has received a facelift! The newly-refreshed Lincoln Corsair comes with an updated exterior design (mainly in form of a bigger grille), while the cabin benefits from a larger infotainment screen among other changes. But the luxury compact SUV segment is stacked and in our recent review of the all-new Mercedes-Benz GLC we found out just how good the German's latest o...

Today we test the two-door Ford Bronco Badlands Sasquatch on our favorite Ontario trails and see just how well Ford's latest off-road SUV can stack up to the legendary Jeep Wrangler. We even take the Bronco up a new trail which we've never dared before - risking bot...

In today's review we take a look at Chevy's heavy duty offering: The Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD! Here as the top-trim High Country and equipped with the optional 6.6L DURAMAX diesel V8, this heavy duty Chevy might be able to make a case for itself not only when compared to the Ford Super Duty and RAM heavy duty, but also when compared to its smaller half-ton brother. 4-CYLINDER CATASTROPHE? - Mercedes-AMG C43 - Review

The new Mercedes-AMG C43 is here and it comes with ... a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder? Oh boy. Stopping short of the controversy behind the new C63 AMG's powertrain, even the "lesser" C-Class has to mourn the loss of cylinders. Gone is the Inline-6, and new is a turbocharged 4 banger with "F1 technology". Spoiler alert, that last part is marketing bull*! But we can't judge a car before we test it, so i...
FRUSTRATION MACHINE - Volvo XC40 - Review
Просмотров 6 тыс.Месяц назад
The Volvo XC40 luxury subcompact SUV should, in theory, be really good. With stylish Swedish design, entry-level luxury touches, and Volvo's typical driving dynamics the XC40 has the basics down. But unfortunately Volvo did a great job 90% of the way when designing this compact SUV, but then started fumbling the final 10% - with massive consequences for the user experience and satisfaction. But...
$100,000 OFF-ROAD MONSTER! - GMC Sierra AT4-X AEV Edition - Off-Road Review

The top-dog of General Motor's truck lineup, the GMC Sierra 1500 AT4-X AEV Edition clocks in at whopping $108,843.00 CAD here in Canada, which positions it squarely in sight of the iconic Ford F-150 Raptor. But instead of focusing on fast off-roading and baja running, the Sierra AT4-X wants to be the master of the trails! With a 6.2L V8, front and rear locking differentials, and more cameras th...

The Mercedes-Benz GLC enters 2024 as an all-new model, starting with the GLC 300 as we have it here. HONDA'S BEST SUV! - Honda Pilot Black Edition - Review
It's a shame that this is only yearly, I find these super entertaining hahah. Great video!
Thank you! Luckily I don't enough material for multiple videos a year. But you never know with Toronto drivers haha
I own this truck and it has been fantastic.
Glad you're liking it! The Canyon does a lot of things really well
That Benz is looking old and tired and boring smh and it's smaller lets be real yall need to get your hands on a escalade v
We'd absolutely love to drive the Escalade V 😂
what camera gear are u guys using? looks very sharp and crisp!
Our main camera is a Sony A7IV with two different lenses. Then we have a couple of GoPro's and a DJI Action for the riskier angles. Glad it's turning out well!
🔥🔥🔥
😎
So shortly come to this Channel to about watching Germancomment Gamer if you still exist haha sorry English Bad😂🫶
Haha, all good! Got a video filmed, just need to edit and upload it. Sunday at the latest :)
Mercedes VS Cadillac - Who makes the best luxury SUV? Seems like we need your input on this, so let us know which one you would pick! 👇
Sad that we dont get the Escalade here in Europe.
It's a great vehicle, but I could see some issues with maneuvering it through tight European city centers. However, if I ever get stupid rich I'll buy one as Europe vacation vehicle just to flex 😂
@@GCCarsCA would definetly do the same lol. Idk but I think I like it cuz its something different.
Camera's are useful but overrated a bit. They get dust/mud all over them and you end up not seeing much
Side and rear cameras, yep. But we never had issues with our front cameras getting too dusty or muddy.
Best daily for the money for sure!
There are cars that are true luxury. Then there are brands, that are wanna-be luxury. Volvo is that kind of brand, and that's why cost is injustifiable.
It's a shame because I think Volvo could be really good if they wouldn't fumble the last 10% on every car.
1:12 people actually listened to this song??
It was playing on the radio and it's enjoyable for the occasional listen
These vehicles will last for the mad max times coming up. 😂
thank you for keeping it real , and hello from Miami , FL
Thanks! Hope to be in Florida later this year

BTW good adjustments for your side mirrors.

Thanks for the insightful and detailed review! I bought a '23 Corsair Reserve, AWD and fully loaded with a $57.5K sticker. My first Lincoln and I am extremely impressed with the interior quality, features, and exterior design. I was disappointed that they dropped the 2.3 engine option but found that the 2.0T and 8 speed work perfectly and this vehicle is a pleasure to drive every day with ample acceleration from a stop and at speed. A very impressive small SUV that seems on par with a Lexus or Audi in terms of quality. I assume that the Q5 or GLC would be slightly more enjoyable / sporty to drive and great choices (although the Corsair is likely to cost less to own especially after several years, and I plan to keep this vehicle for 10 years). The Corsair seems underappreciated in my view. Lincoln does not have the same visibility as other luxury brands but is worth considering.
Congratulations on the Corsair! It's a great car. Like you said, the Germans will have a more well composed chassis, but if you don't need sportiness in your vehicle the Lincolns are amazing.
xc40 have hud?
Unfortunately not.
Surprised you mentioned the Frontier. The interior is very outdated, no ventilated/cooled seats, heavy steering and worse resolution I've seen in a backup camera.
to much personal blablabla.........
You're watching a review and get annoyed by people talking to much? That's literally what a review is lol
comparing it to the palisade is absolute BS the drivetrain and all wheel drive is total Bs on the palisade so is the reliability
Good news: We have an Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio booked! Review is coming soon-ish 👀
I have a 2022 CT5-V (Summit White) and a 2017 Chevy SS (Black), both automatics. Just bought a 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP 6 speed manual. All great fun cars. Last of the great ones. Nice video and yes, the CT5-V Caddy could be called the best car in the world. It's unbelievable what that car can do and how you can custom set it all up. Just amazing.
That is quite the garage! The SS is one of those cars that I'd love to test drive one day and see if it's as good as everyone says. On paper it sounds amazing.
You have an awful taste in music.
Thank you
Been driving i4 edrive40 with M Sport package for 18 months; extremely satisfied. Even did 4500+ km across NL, DE, AT, IT, CH and back over summer. Fun to drive, comfortable and during those trips managed to push even 100+ km over WLTP (managed to hit 650km once on a single charge).
650km is really good! Glad to hear the i4 can outperform its numbers in the right conditions. Definitely a great car!
I wonder if this can be a 200k mile car. The reliability of GM turbos is questionable, and it's a one of a kind car, which means parts are probably not going to be readily available. Also aftermarket parts might be hard to find compared to other platforms.
Reliability is always a tough question. I guess if the engine ever dies you'll just have to V8 swap it, ha!
I've owned three Q50s. My current one is a 2024 RS Black Opal. I bought the last one because it is the best-performing and most comfortable AWD grand tourer at its price point. And... this may be the last year we see this model. I've loved every one I've owned and have not had any problems. This 2024 will be a keeper that I baby, while Infiniti (regrettably) put this model to bed. Very soon, the rest of you won't have a viable AWD gas/turbo-powered 4-door performance sedan to choose from. Y'all can have the electric crossovers that will be the soup-de-jour going forward! Gag me! Oh, by the way, the narrative that the tech is no good is simply nonsense. What can't you do with the Q50's tech that you can with the G70? It is just as responsive as the single-screen top-dash-mounted trash that comes on the newer vehicles. The mid-dash, two-screen concept works just fine and is closer to the driver without having to split a screen between your nav and other features. Sometimes, new and shiny bling isn't worth a thing! (Can you tell I'm sick of reviews that just regurgitate the tired narrative on this excellent vehicle?)
Glad you're liking your Q50S! Like we said it's a great vehicle for the price if you don't need the latest tech - exactly what you're looking for. So have we not nailed our verdict? And as for your last point. Sure, a TV from the 60s can usually display the same films as a modern TV. But that doesn't mean that a modern 4K OLED screen won't make it more enjoyable to watch in a direct comparison.
@@GCCarsCA Thanks for the reply. Tell us... besides screen resolution and placement, what are the substantive differences between the "tech" in the M340i and the Q50?
I recently bought a CX 30 and I'm so happy with it, I love it, it drives beautifully, I testdrove the Seltos and it was so boring and basic to drive
If you can live with the limited space the CX-30 is an amazing vehicle. Congrats on the new car!
didnt test fog lights in fog.......
auto stop of engine is to prevent theft.
Seems counter intuitive when all a carjacker has to do is open your door and now you're completely vulnerable, instead of being able to drive off. Right?
@@GCCarsCA I agree and what you experienced does not sound correct, this has not happened on the different models I've test driven from showrooms.
Should’ve never took the v8 out of the raptor in the first place
BMW i4 all day💯💯💯💯
It's a great car!
A lot of these are in my neighbourhood. Keeping a look out for my car 😂
Here's an honest consumer review. I'm not a fan of Kia's Niro Hybrid SUV, or its pricing. I was given one as a loaner while the dealership tries to figure out why my 2-week-old Seltos running lights are dim and the inside of the covers are cloudy. Niro's seats are comfy, but it rides rough. You can feel every bump in the road, and it looks and feels boring and cheap inside and out. It reminds me of an old-fashioned station wagon because it's so low to the ground. I prefer my Seltos, but Kia needs to lose the high gloss, black piano trims on all their models. It's beyond bad. I even went up a model to avoid most of it, but what's there always looks dusty, and fingerprinted. There's already light scratches on mine with less than 200 miles on it. Trust me, you will hate it.
Appreciate your perspective on the Niro! One can only hope that manufacturers stop using piano black soon... it's terrible.
😮
Tell me more about the DAPP update that's coming? What is it exactly?
Apparently the next iDrive update will increase the maximum speed that the autonomous driving is functioning at. That's at least according to BMW forums .
@@GCCarsCA exciting, I wish their was a better way to have viability into updates and new features for idrive.
Hey not sure if you can help but I just got a bmw i4 35 M sports with pro pack etc I see your car has metal switches to do the window up and down mine don’t have this and I can’t find anything about this ?
Bought this today at 106000 miles
Congrats!
This is the best of 2023??? Tame
Hey, I'm happy nobody crashed into me!
I have one, traded a 911 in to get a 4BW manual. Why do all you millennial types bitch about the center stack in these reviews?
Because it is quite cheap and makes the CT4 look bad compared to competitors. But everything else is great so it doesn't matter much in the end. Also I'm not a millenial.
Great video, subscribed!
Thanks for the sub!
what do you mean the car didnt start after you got out and back in???!!! please explain
It just refused to start. The XC40 doesn't use an "Engine Start" button like most cars, it simply activates once you enter the car and put it into drive. However, as it also automatically turns off once you exit it simply refused to start. We couldn't put it into drive and all other solutions we searched for online didn't help either for about 5 minutes. After twenty-ish tries the car finally started... not very confidence inspiring.
That one at 3:05 is hilarious! You should have congratulated him on being first behind the semi 😹
So, BMW i4 vs Mercedes EQE - which one are you taking? And who wants to see us review an M this summer? 👀
I looked at the EQ series’s and ultimately felt it was a disjointed effort, didn’t have the heritage of a true Benz, and leaned awkwardly into the future. BMW i4 won in my book and I ended up buy an M50.
@@wailashshowaf5942 Totally agree. The i4 actually feels like a BMW, can't say the EQs feel like a real Mercedes... Congrats on the M50! I bet it's a blast.
Thanks, it’s a lot of fun, when I want it to be, and just a solid driving machines, when I’m just going from point A to B. It’s actually my second i4, I had the xDrive40 for 5 months then some one ran a red light and side swiped me. Their car was destroyed (Kia ev soul), I and my passenger walked away without a scratch. The safety features and BMW build are amazing.
It has the best infotainment system out of any vehicle out there. And for the Ford raptor boring interior. Motor is just like a diesel but gasoline.
Im sure the weather doesn’t ask for an excuse 😂
It could be a little more considerate of our filming schedule though 😂
I just got a 2024 sport and man o man do I love the headroom and leg space... Not much else matches it for those
A lot to like with the Forester! We can't wait to test the new one soon!
I will take the Truck if you do not want it anymore
Ha! I'm afraid you will have to ask GM Canada as we have to give these back after a week 😅
Can you guys do a night video with a sportcar ❤
POV videos will return soon, including night videos :)
Are you guys testing the Last Call "Vanishing Point" Challenger and "Bullitt" Charger(s) ?

Alot of Toronto drivers drive with there eyes closed
