    Aura helped me find a dream rental and I am so happy! I was shown many options and she was very conscientious to my needs. She is professional, friendly and trustworthy. She even contacted me after my first night to make sure I had everything I needed! I highly recommend her services.

      @@dovygoodguy1296 There are water outages. In the 5 years we have lived here, we were without water 2 weeks one time. Since then, we have installed multiple storage tanks so we no longer have issues. Please watch our video on water here: ruclips.net/video/wySj9wo5LpY/видео.html and the other video on water here: ruclips.net/video/9KOFfs1fH9I/видео.html
      Water in the village of Vilcabamba is treated. Our water where we are is not. It comes from the Podocarpus park which is up very high on the mountains. It is piped to us clean and pure. We do have filtration just in case.
      When it comes to electricity, there are outages at time, usually after a heavy rain. Once we were out for about 6-8 hours. That was more than 3 years ago. It is rare now, and usually on last a few moments. This may or may not be true for more remote areas.
      Most gas here is in the 14 Liter bottles. These are $3 each and you change them out yourself. A few places in Ecuador have big tanks, but I have never seen them. Here in Vilcabamba, there are a dozen or so Tiendas that exchange them for you.
      The same applies to the Internet here. Very good quality high speed, fiber optic. However, once in a while it does go down. Usually less than an hour unless a major problem.
      We had these same experiences living rural in Texas and much worse. Work your way down through our videos, and you should find answers to many of your questions, If you can’t find something, please feel free to reach out. I am also available by video call on WhatsApp.

    When you sign a rental agreement, do you at some point meet with the Landlord? or just with the Real Estate Agent Aura?

    • @auvervilla3798
      @auvervilla3798 Год назад +2

      Hi C L. Thanks for your message. Regarding your question, when landlords live in the are you definitely meet with them to sign a contract. If they are not in the area, the contract is sent thru email then they sign it and send it scanned thru email. Thats what we normally do. In the contract we also attach a copy of passport and the landlords ID.
