Tornados are certainly not something to miss and, I understand your love of beautiful ecuador. I look forward to Ecuador - hopefully at the end of next year, if everything work out pension wise and, I certainly will not miss the Irish rain either.. So far this year, we've had no summer at all hence Ecuador - although rain there as well, clearly is better weather wise.. Thank you for sharing. photos and, so happy to see you are looking well... Wow! That tornado was close. I remember my first time in Dallas Forth Worth to see my brother, we came out of restaurant and just casually said "I think that is a tornado!" My brothers face turned white and later told me why. I was just a naive kid thinking no tornado ever came to the city.

Welcome back home to Ecuador, and thanks for sharing your photos. I lived most of my life in Texas and never saw a couple of the birds you captured.

We offer our deepest belated condolences as we just learned of Joe's passing today through a mention by the Abundant living members, Jesse, Carl and Brandon.

Lisa, I'm very sorry to hear the news. Joe was a great friend and an incredible human being. You know I have known him in a wide range of situations and before his great transformation. I'm sure you will miss him greatly. Please call on me if I can do anything to help you. I was very impressed with your "Tribute to Joe". You did an amazing job and I'm sure it was not easy. You are a real trouper! Joe was well honored! The love and respect he earned was on full display. He leaves behind a great void but also a huge footprint. Clearly he did God's work in this world... Hi Lisa! This was, hands down, the very best video I've seen to date on the Vilcabamba zoo! I've been hoping for some of the other channels of folks who live in and around Vilca to do a more indepth video but so far it's been more quick mentions with not much footage of what's inside the zoo and no focus on the animals or beautiful grounds. So my son, who is very excited to go there one day if we ever friggin qualify to finally move there lol, he was SO excited to see all the beautiful pictures you took!! Here in Tampa we have a fantastic zoo. And it's fantastically out of reach for my family to go there ever because they charge $44 per person to get in!!! And a plain hot dog, with nothing else, costs $10 and is the cheapest food item for sale there. Things like having access to the local cultural places, including zoos, museums, entertainment facilities etc, have such an increase in quality of life IF you can actually have access to them. Here in Tampa we are surrounded by things we are financially locked out of and I've told my son that, when we finally move to Vilca, this is the kind if thing he will get to have in his life on a regular basis finally. I cant wait. I have a special request for a future zoo video if you get the time/chance! If there is a gift shop at the zoo and/or a restaurant inside the zoo or if there is no full restaurant then whatever snack carts they might have? No one has done any footage of what's inside the zoo on those things or how much stuff costs at the gift shop or food options inside. I know it's probably all pretty affordable seeing that it's Vilca and only 50 cents to get in lol, but still, having a nice look at what other stuff we might want to buy once we are in there would be nice OH, and sponsorship stuff too! My mom and dad are on a memorial wall plaque at the Alaska Zoo. They put a little brass "in memory of" plate up for $100. It's a nice little way to sponsor the zoo and create a family memory for generations of visitors. What kinds of ways can people financially support the Vilcabamba zoo??
