My husband has been getting these pop up ads for almost a year and no other video ‘solutions’ have worked.
Finally, I have found someone who is giving me good and new info! Very helpful, the one I had was hiding behind different/reliable apps ex. samsung express, or google, so when I would check what apps were running it would show the wrong app and not the one that was actually causing the pop-ups, but they second solution you showed about checking the app store helped, it showed both the app it was hiding behind and also the app causing the problem. Thank you so much!

What about when u click the most recent apps button and the ad disappears and doesn't show up cuz l have that

Yep, it just uses my browser and removes itself (and the ad) before I can find out what launched the ad in the first place.

Method # 2 worked well for my Google Pixel phone. I revisited your video to let you know how much I appreciated your vid as it helped me got rid of those annoying full screens pop-ups ads i've got for the last 6 months. Turns out, Photo Editor was the one that contained the pop-ups. Will recommend ur vid to any Android users who experience the same issues.

Thank you. Finally a solution that worked. I uninstalled the last app, Language Translator, Not only was the ad bothersome, it was happening on the lock screen, would not turn off on its own and killed my battery. So happy now.

Ah, ha! I was worried I wasn't going to be able to understand this video because of the strong accent he has, but its very easy to follow! My brand new galaxy s10 plus was getting pop ups for 3 days now. Pretty sure I found the culprit! Tyvm!

This adware was also minimizing my fullscreen youtube videos and everytime I expanded youtube to fill screen it would continuously minimize it as if I wanted to open another app. All fixed with your help

Solution -> Go To Setting , Open Apps Info, Find A App which is without Name and Logo , click on Force Stop and Delete it Simple

So i have been downloading apks and i deleted all my files and apps that could be the problem and still there are like little adds when i watch RUclips in fullscreen mode idk what to do???

@@strictlybanks8612 RUclips shows ads by default, so it is not the best app to find if you phone is infected or not. What kind of ads does RUclips shows to you?
@@fundoorajat its not just RUclips its self like little adds will show up in the bottom corner i can show you if u have Instagram or something but downloaded the app u told me to it found 5 malware it deleted those and still adds pop up fullscreen ones or just little ones in the bottom your screen

Cheers for the vid.stupid ads were popping up during games,watching RUclips or browsing the net.had previously tried looking at recent windows however the ad page didn't have a name so tried downloading anti adware apps and chose malwarebytes but found them to be unsuccessful.just about at wits end I found your vid.using Google play to find the app causing the problems was pure genius my friend and earnt yourself a subscription.cheers again

To dertermine the app at once i click the button down to the left which show me tabs of: youtube, google chrome and so on -->then hold down on the small icon to the left and it displayed the real icon off the app that was advertizing. --> then unistall

It worked, I had the same problem however I didn't download the app from playstore, it was an APK. So, I went to the settings, opened apps, the most recent app was an app with no logo, the app which was popping ads, went ahead and uninstalled it. Thank you Rajat!

open All apps and then u tap the icon of the app . U tap app info and then tap [force stop][uninstall] . and check on App Store > My apps & games > INSTALLED and u check what did that apps download that u feel suspicious . cause that what i did

Well... this is me never getting a Samsung phone ever again. I was always an IPhone person but I wanted to see what the S9 is like. But man these adds are so so annoying. Can't do anything. I get like 6 adds per minute. Now I see why people hate on Android and why Apple is truly the master race. I miss my Iphone 6S. Lasted me 3 years :(
@@mariandragoi2218 just found out how to get rid of the ads. Go to ur apps in setting and scroll all the way down you'll see some apps with no names and delete that it worked for me and i was iPhone guy as well and yea android phone is really complicated sometimes u just gotta do ur research

it's not me that's installing, my devices has been installing services by itself, and i can't delete them
It does not have to be. My case is that it came up after the last update of the app I had from before.
My dad is 50, i asked him about recently installed apps and he says he has no idea. Old people are too bad with phones to understand.

assume i have been fighting with this pop ads for months. i have watched countless video to no avail but i followed your steps and i think i fixed it. Thank you very much. these ads use up my data that i play for and some of the ads were videos that were really hard to cancel. someone should go after these ads. can you imagine how many thousands of dollars of data that they are using up without permission. it turns out it was a compass app that i had downloaded three months ago
