I just restarted my phone cuz I couldn't get rid of them, it is the best solution
@@MindfulMatters734 If you follow the video you should be fine. The last step will wipe your phone and set everything back to factory defaults so. As a last restort that should remove any popups.
@@123myIT I just restarted my phone from factory and I got rid of them, but the phone was new and I didnt lost anything
This video helped a lot. I thought your advice wasn't working but I had to do everything and had a lot of files to go through. Nearly took me 2 and a half hours to get rid of all the pop ups. Thank you so much.

I ended up factory resetting my phone. Now that killed the ads 😎

Was it helpfull using the factory
@@scoutwolf699 it helped mine so far since it's basically erasing everything in your phone and only retaining the defaults. Like how it used to be when you first bought it. Never had problems since then.
I'm scared factory resetting will make me lose my data 😔 but this removed the majority of my pop ups!
Did factory reset help?
Something I relised recently. You can actually lose your whole phone and data and get most of everything back from online contacts anyway. Glad the reset helped.
I tried Factory Reset on my Old Phone and it helped me, it's not dangerous.

great video! you showed me a lot of google settings, which i never bothered looking for in the past. unfortunately, none of these things helped to get rid of the pop ups. what really helped was to go into the apps settings, scroll all the way down and there should be an installed app with neither a name, nor an icon. remove that safely (= cache and data) and it should be gone forever, till we mess it up again lol.
For some reason I get pop up ads when I'm playing games and when im on RUclips even though the video has no ad breaks

Step 3 worked for me !!
I was going crazy all day when a full screen ad kept bugging my phone anytime anywhere every couple of minutes. The ad bug which was like a virus came after downloading a stupid game. Your step 3 (Malwarebytes) fixed my phone as I didn't wanna factory reset. Thanks cheers.....

While i was watching the video, some pop up ads showed up.. But after i did all the steps it was totally worth it!
Normally when i turned the phone on, then google would pop up, Now it does'nt anymore!

I want to thank you for saving me tons of money. 1) I have a Samsung note 8 phone, and T mobile could not help me with the pop up ad problem. They sent me to a phone Samsung tech, 3 different times I called them and they did not help me correct the issue. finally they referred me to a local business to see if I could find help. Thankyou 123myIT. Ads have tarnished the Android experience for me on my Umi Diamond cheapee. These ads all look to glean data from our device about our choices etc and we seem obliged to trust google with all our meta data simply for using the Android OS. Which is Linux based and open source. Seems a high price to pay. Your vid gave me the nudge I needed to give it another try. After all, if this affects samsung then maybe its not just the cheap price I paid. Umidigi seem to disperse these account settings in many different settings categories. On the up side, after battling the ads including gaining ROOT access etc, I feel I can progress to a better android device...

I just factory reset my phone lol literally none of these videos were working so I had to do it the old fashion way but I backed up everything so I'm good and ad pop up free

thank you so much dude it fixed the random pop-up i had while im playing a game or browsing facebook , it happens randomly where it randomly opens a website and redirect to a random ad website sometimes it even open a website and it redirect me to google play and it pops up lazada lol now problem is fix thank you so much

2:27 setting > pop ups and redirects - should it be on or off?? you said turn on but turned it off
Good pick up mate. The wording is different for all phones. I read that and had a hard time deciding if it was meant to be on or off. So i think you would need to test that setting.

You dont have to do all the steps mate. This video is trying to show people what to check if they are getting popups. It could also happen on iPhone.

Is it necessary to do the last step?
Are you having ads pop up Still? Bc the 1st steps are unnecessary. Pop ups are from an app. All these steps just reset your phone. That's the last thing I wanted.
none of its necessary. if you cant get rid of it. do a reset last resort.
