Let my God bless you forever I nearly gave up on my new a54 Samsung galaxy All my life using techno phone I have never experience this kind of ads that pop every second and cover the screen of my phone I did as you said no more seen that boring ads Again God bless you from a Nigerian living in Freetown Sierra Leone
Hi Victor, thanks for watching. Yes to both questions my friend. I use the S23 Ultra as well, and the ad blocker part should work with nearly all browsers and feeds.
Facebook ads have become ridiculous over the past few years. One post, 5 ads, one more post, 7 more ads, it's nuts. Yeah, blocking all of those would be awesome! Thanks for stopping by!
Hi, thanks for watching! Are you getting actual ads, or just blank "greyish" looking squares where the ads would be? You'll still see those, that's why I'm asking.
Hello...can u help I have samsung s23ultra...my problem is every time tap the screen from security enabled main screen full ad pop up appears runs for like 10-15secs I did every I could to find the source but so far nothing yet...how do I find the source so I can block/delete it? Thanks
Thanks for stopping by. Without know exactly what the ad is about, it's tough to say. That's odd that you're seeing an add when on the security settings screen. On the plus side, in the upcoming One UI 6 that'll be rolling out soon, there's a way to track all activities, including little ads and notifications. It shows the data/time and all that, so you'll be able to tell for sure where it's coming from then. I've been on the beta for a while now, it's been pretty good.
First one cut cuts my Internet off? Would have been awesome this block as getting way to many on my fold 4 actually never had anything like it before there coming up everywhere when in the Google feeds! But using dns ad gaurd just disconnected the WiFi it could connect to private dns its saying? I'm with BT Open reach now had no option when moved into new house unfortunately all what is in area at the moment but they have blocked this from working by the looks of it!
It varies, based on where you're located at. You can try searching google for alternative IP's to use, there's quite a few floating around for private DNS. Thanks for stopping by.
It doesn't work it keep poping up a ads and it driving me crazy when i playing or watching youtube it pops up a ads i don't know what to do it pops up every 2 second😢
Sorry for the super slow reply on this, I had quite a few comments come in while I was from youtube for health reasons, and I'm just now getting caught back up. You're probably already figured this out by now, but I would just revert back to using a dynamic DNS, or grab another IP or host name for another ad blocker online. There's quite a few of them out there.
I hate those little "nag ads' when you first open it up as well, they're so annoying. No, I don't know of a clever way for them. I wish Samsung would drop those ads, they're very distracting. Thanks for stopping by and watching!
When I do exaclty as you said it says couldnt connect everytime and it shuts off my internet connection. What am I doing wrong ? Thanks in advance for any advise.
It's most likely that you're ISP isn't allowing you to use ad-block, or dns.adguard.com isn't reachable from your region. There's a few alternates if you search for "how to block ads android" on google. Thanks for stopping by, and my apologies for the slow reply.
Hi, thanks for watching, and my apologies for the slow reply. Been a little under the weather the past couple of days. So it doesn't block them directly, unless you download the ad blocking app mentioned in the second half of this video. It will let you hop on youtube from within that app without having any ads. But otherwise, you'll still have ads with the regular youtube app.
Hi, thanks for watching! You get ads when you make calls and texts? There shouldn't be any ads for those 2 apps, are you using 3rd party apps for calling and text?
I get ads while on the phone galaxy4 fold? How do I get rid of them. I use the google browser so don't get ads browsing. Ads I get eg install tiktok you have 24 viruses on mobile phone click here. How do they get away with that? Also flattens my battery fast
Hi, thanks for watching! So those aren't ads, those are Google Chrome notifications that you're getting. When you see them show up in your notification list, you can long-press on it, and pick Disable (or turn off, something like that) Notifications. That will stop further notifications from that site from showing up in the future. My fiance had the same exact issue with some site sending notifications that her phone had a virus. Some sites send weird notifications like that so you click on them and they get more ad revenue. Pretty lame how the dow that. I just disabled the notification and now her phone is fine. Hope this helps.
Sorry for the slow reply, I had a bunch of old comments disappear on my while away with some health issues. Oh wow, I didn't know that, thanks for letting me and other folks know.
Hi, thanks for watching. I'm sorry, but what part of the video are you referring to? I'm not sure if any slots where saving anything is mentioned, but it's been a while since I put this out, so I apologize if I've misspoken. Let me know, happy to help.
Hi, thanks for watching. The only real downside is that it often leaves "blank" looking little windows where the ads would normally be, and sometimes that can look just as distracting as the ad itself.
That's interesting, it should be blocking most everything, except for well youtube adds and stuff like that. I def recommend using Samsung Internet browser these days, you should be able to block all web based pop-ups with it. Thanks for stopping by!
Sorry for the slow reply, and thanks for stopping by. That just means the private DNS address you added isn't accessible, so it's not resolving the host names for any sites your visiting, nor for apps that use it, making it seem like wifi isn't working. The fix is to try another DNS entry for ad blocking. I'm on the road right now so I can't easily track them down, but you should be able to Google for ad-blocking DNS entries, and there will be a few out there.
Thanks for stopping by. That's interesting. I've only had that happen when I've entered the address in incorrectly. It could be a limitation with your provider or region as well.
Thanks for stopping by, and my apologies for the slow reply. I've been away for a couple eye surgeries. That's true, I've been seeing that a lot lately too. Thankfully this type of ad blocking isn't the same as blocking youtube ads, those will still come through when using the adguard address, at least that's how it's been working on my devices. It's those ad blockers specifically designed to block youtube ads that they're mainly after.
Thanks for stopping by, and I really appreciate the constructive criticism, it helps me grow. I've been trying to practice some breathing excerises where I'm starting to put little pauses in, and now keep a bottle of water next to me to rehydrate my lips. But all that's been since putting out this video, hopefully it's not as bad in more recent stuff. Always trying to improve, and looking over new mic's as well. I haven't been happy with my audio... or video really, lol. Thanks again, I and I agree with you, def annoying in this one.
You're right, I should just put out "Samsung this DESTROYS iPhone that", then the next video can be "The iPhone this DESTROYS the Samsung that", like most everyone else does. No thanks, I'll just keep putting out these tips and how-to videos. Take care, thanks for watching!
I'm in the UK daily mail was bad for ads but now clean no ads can read only news great work keep it up

Hi Victor, thanks for watching. Yes to both questions my friend. I use the S23 Ultra as well, and the ad blocker part should work with nearly all browsers and feeds.

Also drastically need to block RUclips ads on its app as well as Facebook ones though.

Already using. 😊
Awesome! Thanks for stopping by!
You don't need third party browser. Samsung inbuilt browser does very good job at blocking ads with addons.
You're right, it sure does! It's got way better recently as well. Thanks for pointing that out and stopping by, appreciate you.
Hello,I'm still getting ads and why I can't delete them from the settings is beyond me!Nice Video!
Hi, thanks for watching! Are you getting actual ads, or just blank "greyish" looking squares where the ads would be? You'll still see those, that's why I'm asking.
